J Riley Distillery

Dined on 12/21/2024Came in to J.Riley's for a quick bite and they did not disappoint.The place is a casual distillery looking place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.SERVICE: We had great service this evening. Hostess at the front was very friendly and our server was awesome and attentive.FOOD: Started with a couple drinks, they were yummy. Also tried the fried artichokes, their newer spicy tuna/fried avocado (also yummy), their croissant sandwich, and the grilled cheese w/tomato bisque.Everything was outstanding!! Nice job!

I had the worst experience coming in here with my husband. He loves whiskey and oldfashions so we figured this was a good place to try out. Well, we walked in around 10pm on a Friday night and it took almost 5 minutes to be greeted after sitting at the bar forever. Finally someone realized we were sitting there (besides 6 other ppl around the bar) and asked us if we needed a menu. There were literally 5 ppl there working and not a hi from ANYONE. Finally a busboy helped us out and though we are thankful to him, the service was seriously horrible.We are never coming back here again or recommending it to anyone. We took off to the State where we are never disappointed. You would think this was a chain restaurant

I've been here twice now. It's a big space, lots of tables. Both times we have gone, the service has sucked. Seems like they might be understaffed. It took nearly 20 minutes today for us to put in a drink order, and 15 minutes for them to come out. We were hardly checked on throughout our time there, too. Tables don't get bussed very quickly, so as parties leave, you will be surrounded by dirty tables. The drinks and food are good. I enjoyed the hummus, and my husband liked the artichoke dip with his black manhattan. Probably wouldn't recommend due to the service being so slow.

J. Riley is such a cool spot. I'm totally obsessed with their beer-cheese nachos (those crunchy chips smothered in gooey cheese are just the best), and their cucumber spicy margarita; it's so refreshing and not too spicy that I always want to order another one. They had a live cover band outside in their courtyard area which we loved! The servers were a little slow this night, but I think because it was a holiday weekend. I'll be back for more.

We came here for a graduation dinner and took up the whole patio. I will say that with about 30 of us the service was exceptional. I tried the large bagel with nacho cheese and sausage as an appetizer and was able to share it with two other people - it was delicious and a good starter. For my entree, I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and initially I didn't like the concept of having to cut up my own lettuce but it was charred romaine lettuce and in combination with the pomegranate seeds and the hidden Caesar dressing, my meal was very satisfying. My husband had a double plain hamburger with smashed meat and he really enjoyed it. We didn't have any alcoholic beverages but everybody who did order appeared to enjoy their drinks. I am looking forward to going back!

FUN FACTS ABOUT J RILEY DISTILLERY:1. It's POPPING! If you want to bring your friends to a space with ample outdoor or indoor seating, games on, quick service and a multitude of drink and food options, then this is the place. 2. Drinks are SOLID! I had a Whiskey Sour that was perfectly balanced.3. The BURGER had me going OMMMMG. It had this BBQ sauce that rocked my world. 4. The CHICKEN SANDWICH was a BEAST. Crispy, juicy and just enough heat.5. You will have a GOOOOOOD time here.

It's not our first time visiting here, but it is the first BRUNCH we've went to.We love the atmosphere of the rustic building & with the garage doors open, it let's in the fresh breeze.Great selection of breakfast foods & drinks.Servers are always welcoming & great knowledge of the menu.All the food was great & tasty. Only thing I would recommend for the skillet is getting salsa or a side of gravy as it was a little dry.We will continue visiting to try all the other food options!

What a spectacular experience! The place is huge, has great decor, lots of posters/banners with information about upcoming events. Love the effort that is put into to socializing and community. Veteran owned! Drinks were superb. And the food, oh my. I live over 30 miles away but I will definitely make the drive regularly now that I have tried this place out. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly. Can hardly wait to visit again.

Came into town to visit some family and whole across the street at Starbucks I noticed this place. We went in for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us and ordered a couple of drinks. The drinks are great! I wish I could have tried more. My fiance ordered the coffee old fashion, I never heard of anyone making a coffee old fashion and it was very good. We shared the quesadilla which was on the lunch menu. It was a small portion perfect for lunch. The pretzel with beer cheese was yummy. I wish we lived closer cause I would be here all the time.

I recently had my first visit to J Riley Distillery on the occasion of a retirement party for one of my favorite co-workers. I was surprised that I'd never even known about this, let alone beet there! There were SO many things to love about it.I will admit that there was ONE thing I didn't love and that was that it was quite loud in there and we had a large group and speeches were taking place. There were a few others in there that were not part of our group, but we far outnumbered them, but they kept the music up even when we asked to lower it during speeches.Otherwise, though, I loved it. I had a wedge salad that was DELICIOUS. I love me a wedge, its that simple and I had a cocktail (or two) that were quite the Tasty Beverages (tm) Pretty sure my choice was the Woodsman. I like a whiskey drink with herbacious flavors, and it was so good I had a second.The distillery makes different spirits: different types of whiskies, rum, vodka and gin... not sure what else, but there is quite a selection and of course, there is beer. So its definitely a great place to have a drink.Pricing was average for this style of restaurant/bars and I loved that they let everyone order and pay separately. That is SO helpful. Staff was friendly and fast and overall, it was a really great location to have a party. Definitely recommend J Riley!
