Jason Perryman was the very first vendor my husband and I booked, well over a year in advance of our wedding. We found Jason's work on Wedding Wire and then browsed his portfolio on his website and Instagram. We met up for coffee to get more info and were really liked his calm, reassuring personality. His prices were within our budget and very reasonable. Jason's eye for light was the biggest draw for me - you gotta love those golden hour pics! In November of 2019 we booked an engagement session with Jason and we couldn't have been more impressed. When our original plans of shooting at a park fell through, Jason suggested the LA Arboretum instead. We spent a few hours there with him and it was a really fun, laid back time. He made us laugh and kept it comfortable. We were so thrilled when we got the pictures back; we knew we'd made the right choice for our wedding photographer.Fast-forward almost a year to 2020. Covid19 hit and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to hold our small, 30 person wedding. We decide to scale it down to a micro-wedding with just family - 11 people total. Jason was super flexible and encouraging. It was particularly important to us to capture the day with photos to share with our family and friends who wouldn't be there / couldn't make it. Jason showed up on time, was professional and engaging, worked well with our other vendors, and took some stunning pictures. We liked working with him so much we recommended him to our friends for a maternity shoot! We would not hesitate to reach out to him in the future and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer.

Jason has taken our wedding photos and our holiday/ family photos and each time, his photos take our breath away. He has an incredible eye for light and moments -- capturing our memories in such a brilliant, whimsical way. Our wedding was a long day of activities (rock climbing, archery, ropes wall, etc.), followed by the normal stuff (getting ready, ceremony, dinner, and dancing). Jason and his team didn't miss a beat over ten hours, all the different environments, and all the different lighting. For our family photos, our sweet little daughter is also not-so-sweet, putting Jason's skills (once again) to the test. Fear not! He was able to capture perfect moments between her meltdowns. We are so grateful to have found Jason -- he is the best!!

As soon as I saw my future brother in law's engagement photos from Jason, I KNEW I had to use him for our wedding too. We met with him and put down a deposit on the spot! He was the first vendor I booked (a year and a half before my wedding) and it was the best and easiest choice I have made on vendors so far.He responds to emails and texts SO fast. He is always wanting to make sure you're happy. His packages are reasonably priced (unlike so many high demand photographers that make you feel you'll never be able to afford STUNNING photos). His quality matches that of any high end photographer I've found online with $5k plus wedding packages.He is an artist with natural light! Creative and knows just where to go to get that perfect shot. We had our engagement shoot in Temecula a couple weeks ago and I am literally swimming in the most amazing pictures I've ever taken. I cannot decide what to use for the wedding, I love them all so much!He's the best. Book him now. I almost hesitate even posting because I feel like he's going to get so big that I won't be able to book him for anything in the future! But he deserves that and more. Jason was seriously the BEST wedding photographer a Bride and Groom could ever dream of!His packages were affordable and totally worth every penny! He drove all the way to Big Bear to take our gorgeous engagement photos. It was winter and absolutely freezing and he never complained once. We had two different outfit changes. He never rushed us. He was so patient and so kind. The pictures came out absolutely stunning. On our wedding day, Jason took the most amazing photos I have ever seen. Every moment was perfectly captured in time. I cry just looking at some of the photos (They are that beautiful). Jason was by far our favorite vendor. So easy going, so professional and he provided us with photos that will always bring us back to the happiest day of our lives.

We worked with Jason for our wedding on 12/19/19 and he made it so much fun to capture the day. He was great with making sure we got the shots we wanted, remembered all of these, and still came up with more content ideas we'd like also. He made us feel comfortable and have fun all the while. We would recommend him 10/10!

Jason Perryman was an excellent wedding photographer. He has truly mastered photography as an art form and will capture your wedding day perfectly: catching special moments, memorializing every detail of the day and crafting breath-taking photos you will cherish forever. There are only pros when it comes to J. Perryman Photography. Responsive to all emails, quality service, and great value! Also, I highly recommend hiring the 2nd photographer (his wife). They are super cute together and extremely professional and friendly. Besides, two is better than one! Final advice, don't tell him exactly what you want or try directing him. Let him work his magic! I promise he will make you look good and the photos will say it all at the end of the day. Look at his work. His website previews are mesmerizing.

Jason was amazing as our photographer. We loved his creative and sometimes avant garde style that makes his pictures so unique. He was so calm and accommodating that he made both our engagement session and wedding day so much easier. He gave us a lot of advice and tips for getting our best pictures and always went above what was asked of him. He was also honest about strategy which was refreshing and allowed us to make last minute changes on our wedding day for better photography. His packaging is also a great value for the results, we can't wait to get the rest of our photos for our big day!

My Wife and I Had our Wedding September 23, 2023 and we were stressing about finding a photographer, as time was winding down I turned to yelp to see my options. As I was scrolling I came across J Perryman Photography, clicked the profile and the pictures that I saw were really impressive. I contacted him and the response time was great, we set up a phone interview to discuss what shots we wanted and how we felt the most comfortable. I respect someone who takes the time and effort to get to know their client.The day of the wedding arrived and he was there ready even before we arrived to mass. He took control of the situation and knew exactly how to guide us so that every shot was damn near perfect. We received all our images very quickly considering the editing that had to go into every photo.
