Hungry Bear Tacos

Craving some authentic street tacos I saw great reviews for hungry bear and gave them a call. Yes they're open! Friendly customer service over the phone and in person. Super sweet people, working hard, bringing some amazing tacos to the crowd that gathered. They have a great team here! Freshly made tortillas make all the difference. Dough is cranked out by hand, having that toasted exterior with a sort of airy inside and slight chew, perfectly rolled to contain all the goodness with one hand. Asada, pastor, chorizo, pollo, birria, cabeza, tripa and lengua meats available. Tacos range from $2-$4 some include avocado and comes with cucumbers and self serve hot sauces. The pastor was so juicy and plentiful topped with cilantro and onion. Asada had those rendered, char crispy tips with plump beef. Neatly wrapped and presented. Lots of people taking theirs to go and a few tailgating on the spot. We chose the latter. Located in the Target parking lot off orange show road. Some great tacos to cure that craving. These will be memorable!

It's a food truck. I had a pastor burrito. It was big and the flavor was very good. It was about $13. Which is fair for the size

Worth the wait . Off of Target Parking Lot . Tijuana style tacos but better. Meat is bbq'd with that charcoal flavor, good quality meat no fatty pieces , Tortillas are rolled out fresh from scratch , tasty salsas , tacos come with real creamy homemade guacamole. Tacos couldn't be more perfect.

ok.. stopppppp right NOW! Hungry Bear is my new #1 taco truck ever. They ate and so did I- 5 tacos to be exact, which was way too many, but I'll be fine lol. I LOVE that they make their tortillas "in truck", fresh guac is included, tacos are individually wrapped and the delish char on their meat. Idk if that can be topped. Their green sauce had more flavor than usual (in the best way possible), and habanero salsa had us begging for mercy. Both were amazing. I ordered lengua (doesn't come with guac) and asada. lol something about the lengua not being chopped up was a little freaky, but once u get past the visual... yum! Asada was perfect! They don't double up on the tortillas like other trucks (except for lengua) which I prefer.Bf got an asada burrito and said: "very flavorful and meat tastes like it came straight off the grill. 9/10"Final thoughts? I'll be back.. like later this week :D

Normally pass by and wonder why people are always waiting there for Taco so I decided to stop in the parking lot for Taco. A lady told me Hungry Bear was good and it was $2 for the tacos. I was like let's see what they have to offer. I wanted lingua but had only $8 on me. I went for 2 Carne Asda and 2 Pollo Asada. I was impressed with the asada as it was tasty on its own mint the pollo. I wonder why they put the Guacamole on the taco. The green Salsa was a tiny bit spicy but the lady that attended to me was nice and friendly. I was given a discount Y I don't know but it said discount on the receipt. I will surely come back for the Asada and try out the Lingua. I sat in my car to eat it.

I was craving tacos and found this taco truck on Yelp. I looked at the pictures and knew I had to try them. They're located by the Target parking lot. They accept cash and card. The tacos are $2, and they also have other options like mulitas, tortas, ramen, quesatacos, burritos, and quesadillas. The tortillas are handmade! They have 7 meat options with classics like asada, pollo, birria, pastor, chorizo, tripas, and cabeza.There were only a few people in line when I arrived. They process the orders expeditiously. They have a few different salsa options: green, red, and habanero. The habanero was tasty!The taco de carne asada was good! The carne is seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The quesabirria was good too. The meat was tender and juicy. The meat and cheese ratio was great. Next time, I will ask for the quesabirria to be on the crispy side. There is no seating area. Most people were eating in their car or standing and eating their food. The weather is pretty fresh, so definitely bring a sweater. Overall, it was a great experience. I will definitely be stopping by again when I'm in the area.

When I run errands during lunch I always see a line of people and I finally had time to stop today. I grew up super close to the border and I can attest to these tacos being legit. I got carne asada taco, a quesabirria taco and horchata. I was full! The guac is perf. The meet is perfect and the handmade fresh tortilla is just the cherry on top. Also loved the horchata. The service was fast and the guy at the window was personable.

This taco truck has very good food. Place the order and get your choice of condiments on their "counter." I tried the mulita. It was delicious and filling.

The tacos had a good flavor, but was very disappointed when i was served tacos semi cold, with guac that was already turning brown The menu says tacos are 2 dollars but was charged 3.16 per taco. I would try this place again for sure but for my first time was a little disappointed

Tacos look old, tortillas are hard, i asked for no onion because im allergic, i still got it, bought 10 tacos, no salsa no radish,guac looked brown pastor came in full chunksVery disappointed.
