One of my family's go to spots in the Ontario area! Building our own hot pots is always so much fun, and I love how everyone can get a meal customized to their tastes and preferences, with preset options too. The BYO boba bar also looks cool, though I've never tried it. I liked how the hot pots are served on the burners so that the food and broth stays warm and fresh throughout the entire meal, unlike most malatang places that serve it in a bowl. We've celebrated a birthday here and the service was spectacular- refrigerating and bringing out the cake and providing a lighter, plates, and forks for us to enjoy it.

I recommend ordering from the menu instead of buffet style "weight and pay".Good taste, we enjoyed the dine-in. Like the self-served drink stations and the selection of different kind of beverages. Not many workers but then again, not much interaction's needed. Overall good taste but not dying to go back.Restaurant is ok clean, plenty of parking, server was helpful and friendly.

We walked in there as first customers thinking that the food would great and excited to eat because we were starving. Hostess that's working told us to step outside because it's dangerous to stay in there because it's hot. She asked us how many people and we said 4 but she clearly sees that there are 4 of us and I'm carrying a baby.We waited a while and they even seated an 11 person party before us when that party is not even complete! Even with that experience we still decided to wait because we wanted to try the place and trying to be optimistic. The same hostess called our name and looked like she barely saw us for the first time. She pointed at the baby and said that "Oh! You have a party of 5" What?!? She's the same lady that saw all 4 of us. She started explaining that we can't do that and we have to put 5 for our party. That human being is tiny! She's not even going to eat! We've been to countless restaurants with this same baby and we never had to add her as a part of our party. My mom was starving so she's already mad. Too bad because the food looked good just that hostess ruined our supposedly good experience.Like other reviews, I would put zero stars but unfortunately, 1-Star is the lowest.DO BETTER AS A HOSTESS!!!!

This is a good place to create your own hot pot and boba drink. This time we got the sukiyaki and the miso hot pots with 3 create your own drinks. The combo man was about $20 a person which was ok. The create your boba is a great value as the drink was pretty big and you could mix and match your toppings and drinks. The hot pot was pretty standard and would meet your craving for it. They had two different doing sauces that enchanted the flavor or of the meats and vegetable.

Love this place for DIY hot pot and Boba for a reasonable price! I've been coming to hot pot mini workshop for years now, and everyone I've introduced it to loves it! They've recently re-vamp'd their selection so now there's even more items to pick from. You can either build your own (by weight) or get their preset meals. I love the original beef broth extra spicy, and my favorite ingredients are fried tofu, beef, noodles, and various veg. They also have a boba bar for you to fill up on slush, milk tea, and fruit teas. We went during happy hour during the summer and a full hot pot + drink was under 20 bucks!

I liked it. A slightly different kind of hot pot place. You can either build your own pot and you'll be charged by the weight. Or they have a nice choice of preset hot pots. They put a little flame canister under the pot to heat it up. Unfortunately there's no way to turn it down so if it gets too hot you can just ask them to put the flame out. My friends made their own, but I got the preset Lamb hot pot. It was good! A good portion amount. I finished it but I can see 2 lighter eaters sharing one pot. The broth was very tasty. I only got the mild but it still had a little spice to it. Will probably get medium next time. They also have a neat little boba station where you can make your own. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Nice to see more hot pot options in the IE.Inside was simple. A few tables for seating but still a good place for small groups. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.

Do NOT eat at this restaurant! Terrible service and zero responsibility!I ordered takeout from this place, and it was a complete disaster. First, their soup was so hot that it melted the plastic lid, causing the soup to spill all over the bag. When I told them, they refused to take responsibility or offer any solution. To make things worse, I ordered a hot pot, but because the soup had spilled, I basically ended up with a hot pot without any soup. And yet, they still wouldn't admit their mistake or do anything about it. How does a restaurant mess up this badly and not even try to fix it? Absolutely unacceptable! If you don't want to deal with poor quality food and terrible service, stay far away from this place!
