Hong Bao Kitchen

Hong Bao is our absolute favorite place. 3 of our top choices are 1. Orange Chicken2. Shrimp Fried Rice .. no peas and carrots w/ extra egg. 3. Vietnamese lobster w/ extra ginger . Our server Sepayan's is absolutely amazing. His hospitality is very warm and his knowledge about food items on the menu is stellar.

Hard pass. I've had better pork at a tiny strip mall joint. Pork was cold and tough, soup was meh. Management needs to sit down and evaluate the quality. Tea was $8 and just a teabag. I felt ripped off.Chiefly, the server, was the only good part of this place. AVOID!

Restaurants was packed when we went so we opted to order take out and eat it a TuTu's Food Court. Online ordering was not that difficult and there is a limited amount of items that you can order to-go.The food tasted very underwhelming in seasoning and taste. The chow mein was decent but not worth the $25 price tag. The honey walnut shrimp came out to 9-10 pieces for a $40+ price tag.. the shrimp was heavily coated in batter and tasted more batter than fish. The orange chicken was the same but it was soggier and the chicken was falling apart while we picked it up with chopsticks. It is difficult to want to try it again because of the price tag but I will give it one more shot and put a reservation down so I can dine in and not do a to-go order.

The best thing I had here was the walnut shrimp! Wow, the size was huge and very filling. I've never had walnut shrimp this good. We went here for my mom's birthday and it was a nice restaurant for sure. I showed up late due to so much traffic so all I could judge was what was leftover for me. I barely made it cuz we had a comedy show to go to. Everything was good, but the shrimp is what stood out for me!

Setup reservations for large group to celebrate a retirement, everything was perfect by the end of the night, ordered plenty of choices that were so good-everyone loved the food and setting, Annie, David, Maria and all the rest of the staff were so above and beyond on service that it was a perfect dinner party. Thank You so much for pulling it off so well for us.You all have made us feel like family and will have some new fans returning.

Definitely give this place a try when you're in Yaamava, especially if you have credit to redeem. One of the best casino restaurants I've had. Honey Walnut Shrimp- isn't any ordinary honey walnut shrimp dish, they use large prawns! Prawns are always fresh and crisp, they're all slightly bigger than a golf ball size. Nicely fried and isn't too greasy. Prawns aren't drenched in mayonnaise sauce and it isn't too sweet. Black Pepper Beef- extremely tender and flavorful. Kung Pao Chicken- chicken wasn't dry and quite juicy. Peanuts had a little crisp to them which I prefer. I don't like when the peanuts are soggy. Braised Pork- flavorful but a little tough. Only comes with one boiled egg, I wished it came with a few more.

This place is definitely not cheap as far as price but the food and service we received was totally worth the visit. The vibe here is high end relaxed yet we were treated like family by all the employees. Kung Pao chicken and brown rice were DELICIOUS!!! Our waitress provided AMAZING service and checked on us at least 9-10 times which was excessive yet, welcomed. This was a very pleasant and positive dining experience.

This is by far, some of the best food I've had in quite awhile. Not only is the staff knowledgeable and attentive, the food itself is perfectly seasoned and spiced. This is hands down, my new go to when I go to Yaamava!

On behalf of my dining partner and myself, I would like to commend the entire staff of Hong Bao for the excellent meal we enjoyed last night. In your beautiful ambience, our server excelled as did our delicious food -- Peking duck, green beans and dumplings. Oh, and not to forget the lychee martinis! We simply enjoyed every moment and every bite. That's unusual these days! Rick was our server, and manager Jeff stopped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it absolutely was. We feel it would be worth a drive from Orange County for the dining experience alone! Thank you so very much
