I'm a huge fan of French crullers and theirs is great. Not all shops carry it and I'm glad to find it near home. Perfect pair with a fresh cup of coffee. Picked up the croissant ham & cheese yesterday and enjoyed it a lot, so ask for it hot!

I had my first experience yesterday at Hills Donuts. The lady at the counter was helpful because I didn't know what I wanted. She suggested mochi because it was a top seller. I bought one of each Mochi, an apple fritter and a raspberry filled. I took them home and pulled them out after dinner. The family universally agreed that the Mochi was great. Each had their own twist on flavor but were lovely. I loved the apple fritter, and the raspberry filled was just okay. Not great, because of the lower quality filling. As a bonus, the lady tossed in a double chocolate and it was fantastic. This will become a regular stop now.

The anticipated opening of the new donut shop. Came here on a Saturday around 10am, the line was out the door. Good selection, even have cronuts. My order was a chocolate bar. It was a little too dense for my liking. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars. They take cash and cards.

We so desperately needed a good donut shop in our area after another shop closed which my family never cared for. It was awesome to learn that Hills Donuts was having their grand opening today, Feb. 19th, 2024.I drove up after work and saw a long line queued outside waiting patiently to move inside. Thankfully, the shop was well staffed in anticipation of it being a hectic grand opening morning being a Holiday weekend and closed schools.I decided to go wait in the line that had now shortened to just outside the doorway of this business. The staff was both efficient and patient with every patron trying to decide which eye appealing and delicious looking doughnuts, mochi nuts, croissants (plain and filled), cronuts, boba teas, coffee and other beverages to choose from.I finally made my way to the front of the queue. My concerns that they would have very little to choose from evaporated in an instant. The only doughnut I overheard them telling the customer in front of me they were out of the maple bars.Prior to entering , my game plan was to choose a wide assortment of different types of their offerings so I could try them with my family and provide feedback in this review. My personal criteria for doughnuts are being light and airy (yeast style, I'm not partial to the "cake" doughnuts), not greasy or oily from frying the day of purchase and hopefully the day or so after. I also like to see how long a doughnut will stay fresh after the day of purchase, and how generous are the fillings.A dozen standard doughnuts are $17.99I selected one (1) dozen doughnuts:Orange Mochinut ($2.99)Jelly Filled Doughnut (Additional Price)Sugar Doughnut;Mini Apple Fritters;Mini Cinnamon Rolls;Sugar Cronut (Additional Price)Tiger Tail (Additional Price)Glazed Twist;Chocolate Twist;Ham & Cheese Croissant ($4.99)My wife swooped in on the Orange Mochinut. After inhaling it, she advised me that it was light and airy, not oily/greasy to eat, with barely discernible orange flavored frosting. Apple fritters are another of my wife's favorites from a doughnut shop. We prefer our fritters to be light, with an adequate amount of apples dispersed in the fritter and a fritter that is not heavy or laden and over moist from too much frying oil still contained in the fritter. I'm happy to report that Hills Donuts offers two sizes of apple fritters: your normal large sized fritter and a mini version. I selected the mini version since the staff told me there was no additional up-charge compared to the full sized fritter. The same pricing applies to their mini or full sized cinnamon rolls also.I dove into the ham & cheese croissant: the pastry was light, flaky, buttery without being greasy on your fingers, and generously filled with slices of ham and cheese. The sugar doughnut was also light and airy and not the least bit oily.Day 2 ReviewOn day two I was looking for signs of oil leaking from the doughnuts. I was unsuccessful in finding any discernible oil stains on the cardboard box. From the cutaway of the mini apples fritter, the bottom is not saturated in frying oil. I tried one of these and they were still fresh and airy on Day 2. I also tried (on Day 2) another sugar doughnut as well as a jelly filled on. The sugar doughnut was still light, soft, airy and not oily at all. The jelly filled doughnut had a generous amount of berry flavored filling and was equally light and airy on Day 2.I was very surprised that all of the doughnuts I tried on Day 2 were still reasonably fresh to bite into with none of that cloying greasy mouth feel/aftertaste of eating a fried food from a carnival or county fair. The entire staff here was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming! I truly hope that Hills Donuts gets the community support it deserves for a very long time!

We drive all the way over here whenever we decide to get a sweet treat for our little one and ourselves. Harrison is the best part! He is so kind and knowledgeable of their products so he will help you decide. They have A TON to choose from it's always difficult to decide but somehow I always make sure to have a maple bacon donut LOL! The store is very clean and quiet. We have never waited in a line to order with the fast service. We will only get our donuts from here!

Finally a donut shop in the neighborhood that actually has great customer service. Went on opening day around 9:30am and the line was long. Great to see locals supporting our community. The donuts/ham and cheese croissant and Iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious. The shop itself isn't big but there's plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location and easy access from all directions inside shopping center. Both female cashiers were attentive and friendly. No line, just walked right in and purchased donuts and a taro milk tea (boba included) in menu price. Donuts are delicious and also the taro tea. Prices are reasonable and competitive with the other donut shops in the surrounding area. Will definitely be back!
