I've been here a couple times and had a great experience. The owners and hosts are always welcoming and go out of the way to make visits enjoyable.The jalapeño tempura poppers stuffed with tuna are great! The Alaska, Cajun, & salmon killer rolls are my faves. The atmosphere is casual. Staff is friendly and tentative. This along with reasonable prices retains my business and loyalty.

Disappointing Experience - Wouldn't RecommendI placed a to-go order at this sushi spot, and it turned into a complete disaster. First, my order took significantly longer than the time I was told. When I finally arrived, I had to wait another 10 minutes before receiving my order, only to find it was incorrect. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the sushi chef to fix it, and the chef's attitude was beyond unprofessional--he threw the incorrect order into the trash while glaring at me, and to make matters worse, the ingredients he used were rotten. I asked for the manager, but was told they were on vacation. The server offered to have the manager call me back, and two weeks later, I finally received a call. However, the manager didn't offer an apology, a remake, or any resolution. Instead, I was told he would "talk to the sushi chef," which felt like a complete brush-off.This is not the level of service I expect, and I definitely won't be coming back. If you're looking for fresh fish/ingredients and better customer service, I would go across the street.

We've been coming here monthly since we moved to the area, used to be great but not anymore.1. No longer honors the special listed on their Yelp. (No buy 1 get 1 special rolls.2. Significant price increase, paid $2 more per roll, what was 40 is now 483. Significant decrease in portion size. And massive increase in filler use. (See picture)4. Absolute decrease in quality, rice was hard and stale, salmon had a funk. Quality is comparable with Vons next door. 5.Cut and roll was obviously amateur. Roll cut unevenly, some slices inch+ thick, others 1/4 inch on same roll, weird extra ingredients added (random slice of avocado on end of roll, carrots in spider roll, who the hell puts carrot in sushi?)6.Will not take phone orders unless you give them your card verbally over the phone.The place being empty on a Friday should have been my first warning things had changed. Worst sushi I've had short of a convenience store.

We are here on a whim after a golf day. They always have some sort of special going on. So we called the wives and met there. Place was empty so we were optimistic of thinking we could get the full experience...dang we were disappointed. Food was okay with a kind of 50% off special, but the selection was basic. Our server seemed to be not interested and bored that they were there...we ate paid our check and knew we may never return. This place wants to be and probably can be something upbeat and energetic, but the only energy is that bill they have each month for all the neon signs and lights!

I came here with friends for AYCE sushi and that's usually their favorite but I think it's okay. I have had better sushi but it's not bad and worth the try. We tried various ones, don't recall my favorite but salmon is always great. Willing to return to try it again

Extremely poor customer service Ordered through Doordash and they didn't even make my food ! My order was missing an entire item BUT THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT. CALL THE RESTAURANT TO GET THEM A CHANCE TO MAKE IT RIGHT. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO REFUND OR OFFER A SOLUTION. sad that they were just totally comfortable stealing from me. Won't be back after this even though I used to love them.

Came back to Hikari after almost a year! They made some decorative changes (I think for the better!!). There are a bunch of cute lil guys placed around the restaurant, see if you can spot them all!Service was phenomenal as always! Kai and his servers always treats my party and me well. We came to celebrate my birthday dinner here. They let us put my cake in the fridge which I was very grateful for.The food, of course, was amazing. I always enjoy their quality of raw fish and sushi here, it's one of the only places I never get a stomach aches afterwards hehe. My favorite rolls currently are the 911 and the Sexy rolls. I know I didn't take any photos of them, but it's because we ate them so quickly LOLThank you again Hikari!! It was so delicious, I can't wait to come back again!

The owners are so cheap, I am so upset that they barely give you any broth here how are you supposed to enjoy your ramen with this much broth. I even politely asked for more because this is so little and the cheap manager said I had to pay for more, other Ramen places definitely give you more broth than this. Not to Mention my order for two Ramens was $50. Will be going to the place across the street for Ramen.
