HiHi Tea House

It's a cute little drink spot, they used to have a little bit more as far as treats & gifts, but I guess it's sadly the area that's struggling with too many thefts lately- that might've discouraged them, I really don't know but understand if it's so.The people who own it are friendly and it's never really crowded. I usually get the Taro milk boba, but last time recently, it was a bit lacking:(I hope it gets better, it's one of the few boba/bubble tea places near that part of Mo Val.

ORDERmango green tea (2/5)honey green tea (2.5/5)both drinks had a lil funk to them..the boba tasted so weird (kinda herb-y?) and the jasmine tea jelly had no flavor, but the jelly might've been the best part of the whole drink. the mango tea was SO sweet and didn't really taste like mango. maybe there was too much syrup added. the large size was HUGE.SERVICE (5/5)nothing special about the service. not bad not good.AMBIANCE very unique boba store! some miscellaneous items are sold and there are a few seats to sit and wait.

Cute spot! In addition to the drinks they have a lot of little items you can buy like keychains, notebooks, fake flowers, etc. The drinks come with two free toppings. I've only ordered milk teas from here so I haven't tried the fruit teas, but the ones I've had taste great! Not too sweet and they have really great flavors. Took a star off because the service is inconsistent. Sometimes they're very friendly but other times they're really not. Depends who's ringing you up.

This is a pretty good boba store open late at night with a lot of specialty drink flavors that aren't usually available are typical boba shops. The service was friendly and quick, and the store has a nice brightly lit interior.I got the tiramisu milk tea which was pretty solid and sweet. Compared to the boba shops in OC, this place is alright. It's a nice store to visit if you're up late and craving boba in Moreno Valley.

In short :Try the sugarcane juice with a splash of calamansi... Try all their toppings, except the black Boba pearls. Enjoy! The details :We went right before they closed and they were still a little busy. Nonetheless they had knick knacks and snacks on display that kept us occupied while we waited. The guy behind the counter was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. He even gave us a stamp card (yay! I mean I usually lose It before I can get anything but just getting one is always a nice incentive to come back). Our drinks: (in the order I liked them) SUGARCANE JUICE with a splash of CALAMANSI... add in some light Boba & orange jelly and this was the clear WINNER. I'm in love with vietnamese sugarcane juice with kumquat and this is pretty darn close to it. Our server recommended the whole thing and he was spot on! Totally getting this again next time & this time in XL. I'd literally come back just to get this stuff TIRAMISU MILK TEA with strawberry jelly. My husband's drink was a pleasant surprise. Tasted like tiramisu as a drink basically haha. I'd get it again but not til I'm done trying every other drink on the menu (but definitely a safe bet and would get this when I'm not feeling too adventurous that day). POMEGRANATE TEA with strawberry jelly & light Boba... This was my mother's drink and a little watered down. The toppings made this one taste better than I thought it would. HIHI MILK TEA CARAMEL with black Boba & vanilla pudding... Being the first thing listed on their menu, I thought it was first because it's their signature drink so I wanted to give it a try. It literally tasted like caramel, which is not a bad thing if you like caramel but I found out I'm not a fan of caramel. A part of it was me thinking it would taste something like the tiger drink from ding tea so I think that was another reason I was disappointed with this drink. So don't go by my experience. You might love caramel ‍The main reason that I didn't like it was the black Boba balls... I see what other reviews said about it not being very good. I'm not partial to Boba (I prefer all their other toppings) but this was just hard in the middle, not chewy like other places. I think if they can improve on this, they would be rated better. Pls work on it. Will try again another time and hope for the best.The other toppings were pretty good but they were all basically jellies. Even the pudding. When you're expecting a soft mush for pudding and get a jelly, kind of changes the experience. They should just call it jelly. Jellies are yummy and fresh made everyday. I'm excited to try their other drinks but from this last batch it was 50/50 but we are definitely coming back to try more.

The mango green tea on the other hand tasted very strange. I genuinely do not even know how to describe the taste. The boba on the other tasted nasty. Not only was it hard, there was a weird aftertaste that lingered in your mouth.SERVICEWe had to order at the front with the cashier. Drinks took about roughly 5 minutes and we were the only customers.AMBIANCEThe store is organized pretty strange. A first, for sure.CONCLUSIONDon't trust the high reviews, I genuinely thought this place might have been a gem but upon trying it, I have no words.

Eh this was quite disappointing. I'd read a review that the green thai milk tea ice cream was "to die for"...maybe I came on a bad day because that's absolutely not how I'd describe this ice cream. I thought the point of soft serve was for it to be...served soft. It was clear it was dispensed soft at one time, and they put it into a container and left it in the freezer. Easy grab and go, I guess. I had a 25min drive home and it was still very hard. Either way, it wasn't worth the $6+ I paid for it. The second star is because the ice cream is actually good, but definitely a lazy presentation. I will say, the gentleman behind the counter was nice and welcoming.

It was alright, not the best boba and the customer service is not that great I've gone twice and was disappointed.

I would give zero stars if I could.I ordered the Taro Milk Boba. It honestly just tasted like flavored milk, nothing special. The boba pieces were clumpy, too -- imagine drinking the whole thing without a single boba go through. All the boba just sat on the bottom of the cup. Horrible customer service. The guy did not seem to enjoy working there or having a boba business. He just had such an odd presence to new customers. I am definitely not returning nor recommending to others. This boba shop looked confusing. I thought the establishment appeared more like a random convenient store that sold odd items which also happened to sell boba. There were no seating areas so you cannot relax and have some boba. HiHi Tea House is not exactly the kind of experience you would expect from a boba shop. The only decent thing about this place is being open until 3am. The management, however, should rethink their hours and maybe make better use of their time to fix up the place and make it look more pleasing and welcoming.Guys, go get your boba somewhere else.

My boyfriend and I always get hi hi tea house since it's open late and on DoorDash. Their Passion Fruit Tea with Boba & Strawberry Popping Boba is literally my favorite boba in the whole world. I've literally asked my boyfriend to drive 40 min to bring it to me. Definitely a must try if you are looking for a late night sweet treat! Also the inside is cutely decorated and has stationary, plushes, and other cute gifts you can buy! Thanks for fueling my passion fruit boba addiction and literally having the best boba !
