Food: we ordered the pop corn chicken, spam masubi, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura and the bulgogi bento box. Everything was great! The only thing I wouldn't buy again would be the tempura. I believe it's store bought, I was expecting a light fluffy batter and it was very dense. Other than that, everything tasted great. Although it seems pricy for what it is, you get a large amount of food. Well worth the price. Service: this is definitely a call ahead place. In no way did we receive bad service, we just waited 40 mins to get our order. I can definitely give grace as it seems to be ran by only 2 people. Ambiance: the restaurant is cute and clean. It's hole-in-the-wall-esq but in the best way possible.

My family and I were so excited to eat here finally on our way home to Corona from San Diego. What a disappointment! My husband ordered a barbecue plate and chicken Katsu, we ordered a few Ramen for the kids, and I got the udon noodles.Luckily for the restaurant that we took our food to go because if we dined in, I would have asked for a refund. First of all the order taker knew we were ordering the Ramen for our kids BUT he didn't even tell us it was going to be a super spicy. We had to redo the soup bras just saw we had something for our kids to eat. The spam musubi's were burnt and my husband's chicken Katsu was not golden Brown, but more brown and black.Lastly but most disappointing, was that our order took almost 45 minutes to an hour to be made. When I looked in the back kitchen, it looked like there was only 1 person who and he looked was confused on what to even do. When the food finally came out, the guy did not even apologize for taking so long and didn't even really say anything at all.Ruined our Labor Day Monday. SMH.

One of the best places to eat fried chicken & wings. We demolished those before the pic, so I took pics of these additional dishes ordered. If you haven't eaten here, you absolutely need to try it out.

A must visit local spot for Korean food! they offer more dishes than what's just shown on the menu they hand you, look at the full menu on the wall it's very worth it. [Food: 9/10] setting recency bias aside, the Soy Wings might be the best korean fried chicken i've had and it's awesome have so close to home. Try the Soy Wings, Tteck-Bokki (spicy), or the BBQ Chicken+Beef+Rib combo. [Service: 8/10] I didn't get his name, but a very nice gentleman was handling the whole front of the restaurant by himself and was very attentive still. As mentioned above, look at the full menu on the wall rather than the paper they hand you as they offer a lot of great dishes! [Ambiance: 8/10] Peaceful, Clean, and great touches of quirky decor from various styles really make the place feel comfortable and "family restaurant".

The Crunch Chicken (Mild) paired with the pickled radish and hot steamed rice is my go to order! This is the closest Korean fried chicken option within 5 miles of home. It definitely has potential in comparison to the restaurants in the South Bay (Torrance/Gardena area) where we moved from. I've ordered from here about 3 times already and I have yet to be disappointed. I'm a fan and will return again to try other menu items (:P)There's ample amount of seating with a dive bar vibe. I came at closing time so I'm not too sure how busy it gets. I really appreciate the efficient customer service (even when he was just about to close up shop)!

My family and I came in on a Friday night for some Korean chickens and tteok-bokki. So naturally we went to Hi BBQ here in Corona. We had visited and eaten here maybe a year ago at night, and remembered the plaza. I was bummed that I didn't leave a review then! But this is me making a point to make sure I leave one after the meal. We were the only one that was eating in the restaurant on a Friday night, and it felt a bit, well, weird lol but it was somewhat nice since we have two little ones and they tend to randomly scream while they play. And since there was no one around us, I didn't feel like I needed to shush them every time but of course I still did. Anyways, there are plenty of parking just outside of the restaurant, there are plenty of seating areas. Your pick of table and chairs, and some comfier chairs, or the bar. They had a full on bar and the decor is very warm. They have random decor theme, menu items on the wall, and a lot screens playing simultaneously. There are also snacks for sale as well. There was only 2 people working a lady and a man, the lady went in somewhere after she greeted us, but the man came to take our order, and eventually served us until the end. The service was pretty good even though it seems like English wasn't his first language, he took the time to answer our questions and politely served us our food. We had to wait a while to get the food, but I mean, fresh fried chicken takes some times, so it's all good. The salad came first, I was surprised that it came with little diced strawberry, oranges, and avocados. The salad was light and delightful. Then the tteok-bokki came. It was spicy and hot, and delicious. I wished there was more of it!!! Then the chicken, the soy wings were all drumsticks lol I thought we would be getting some wings, but not complaining, we got more meat that way I suppose? The taste and texture of the soy wings though, were on point! The skin was crispy and evenly coated with the soy sauces. It's even more delicious with white rice! The popcorn chicken then came out too, served with ranch and we asked for the additional hot sauce on the side. The popcorn chicken came out piping hot and so good with that spicy sauce as a dipping sauce! All the food we tried was definitely 5/5 and we'd definitely come back again to enjoy the delicious food here.

Service was great and food was very delicious. Ate me a whole roll of Cali rolls and they make really good Korean style soy garlic wings and crispy fries.I was very surprised by selection and the affordability of this place and realized it's also because they have very budget friendly lunch specials but don't let the price fool you, their food is top notch

This place is known for their soy chicken wings and I can say they did not disappoint. Their chicken overall is super good. I also got chicken katsu to go. Let's help this establishment keep going. They are a good mom and pop shop and prices are decent. The inside has soo much character! They even offer booze!

I read reviews that said there were crazy long waits for food, so we called ahead with our order, which was for 8 people. The employee answering the phone stopped listening mid way to take the order of another customer at the counter without telling us and then returned after a minute to finish taking our order, which was weird. Their promised pick up time was 40 minutes, but it took some extra time on top of that for them to put together the order at pickup. The restaurant was completely empty, which was kind of creepy - literally not a single person inside - we also picked up an order from Seven Seas in the same shopping center - I highly recommend this place instead - and their restaurant was completely full. There were dirty dishes left on one table, and one of them was one of those pink plastic bowls you can buy from target. They almost forgot some items in the back before we asked where they were. Every single order was in a plastic/styrofoam container, then wrapped several times in plastic wrap, which was extremely wasteful and meant we couldn't double check the orders before taking them home. Here's a list of the issues with our order:- ramen was made of instant noodles instead of fresh ones, which was pretty disappointing. - we ordered the ramen with egg, which was confirmed verbally back to us over the phone, but the ramen had vegetables on top instead and we were charged for vegetables on the receipt- We paid an extra $3 for beef on the ramen, but there was an extremely disappointing amount of beef on top. - We ordered the beef and chicken katsu combo, but it came with beef and regular chicken. - Bibimbap was too spicy for many family members to enjoy and we weren't asked or told about spice levels for this dish. Even those who could handle the spice didn't care for the flavor - something about it tasted offThe only redeeming factors were the fried foods:- Popcorn chicken (came with a thick, dark sauce that none of us could recognize or enjoy)- Fries (came with ranch)- Gyoza (came with tempura sauce)Overall, we really didn't have a good experience, and will very likely not come back, but if we ever do, we will stick with the wings or other fried foods that other people rave about. After this visit, I highly recommend against any noodles. I got the hi-noodle, which was technically fine, but I really didn't care for it.
