As soon as the lady started taking my order, she was giving me attitude, I was about to walk out right then and there, I should have. She was not nice and welcoming at all, basically to the tone of "what do you want?". She seemed stressed, but don't take it out on the customer. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese, half chicken salad sandwich, and a large iced coffee. I had checked the menu online before hand, the order should have been around $24 after taxes, I was charged $29. I thought it was strange but figured I'd pay and then look at the receipt. I asked the lady for a receipt but she had gone to the back to keep working on orders, and she said okay she'd give me one. It took about 30 minutes to get my order, the food tasted really good though (which is why I gave 2 stars and not 1). Portion size was really small, and I'd rather go somewhere else with a bigger portion size. Right before leaving, I asked for an itemized receipt again, and she basically said she can't give me one because it's been too long since the order was placed. I didn't want to argue, so I just walked out and ate the $5 loss. Would not come again.

A great place to stop for lunch. Busy on a Sunday afternoon. Promptly greeted and order was taken quickly. Food as delicious, beef dip was excellent, oriental chicken salad was on the smaller side (ordered a large portion). Plenty of seating inside and dog friendly seating outside.

Love the owners. They are very kind and respectful individuals, and are great listeners! I was running late to work one day and called ahead to order, and they had it all ready for me when I got there. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem. I would have never stopped at this location if I did not yelp it looking for a coffee shop on our way home from Big Bear. It was the perfect place for a quick to go breakfast which consisted of coffee, bagels and blueberry and banana nut muffins. There were many other options to chose from. This will definitely be our pit stop to and from Big Bear to support this quaint cafe. It's a home converted into a cute restaurant/cafe. Parking available in front or back of location.

We found Heska's on Yelp and visit twice last week - once on our way up to Big Bear and then on the way down. We really enjoyed meeting Heska (we discovered that she was a nutritionist and her passion for good food. We really enjoyed our sandwiches, a tuna melt and a Mongolian BBQ on fresh baked rolls. Yum! On our way home, we popped in for a mocha which was delicious. This is our "go to" place whenever we go to Big Bear. Thank you, Heska.

Thank you to my bestfriend for showing me this cute mom & pops shop after our hike in Forest Falls. We decided to sit in the Bark Park area since she brought her dog, but the service was absolutely amazing! The owner brought out our food to us with the biggest smile & introduction. The food was soo good too, idc what anyone says & good portions for the price. Anyone that gives a bad review is either lying or hating cause this place is too genuine to not like tbh.

Loved this place it has such a cozy vibe I felt right at home,The owner was so sweet and very attentive. Food was great. Def will be back soon :)

The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was bomb. The owners are musicians and did a small live performance while we were there. Extremely talented. It felt like we at home !!! Definitely coming back !!!

The way this place feels like home is so comforting and makes it so easy to relax wether you need somewhere to do homework or just sit and drink a smoothie (which are absolutely AMAZING and never make it home on my 8 minute drive). The owners are so welcoming and the service is so amazing and they always have a smile on their faces!! And the bread is just absolutely delicious too!
