Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

I stopped by here as part of a Luv2Promote 2fer Rule on the way to another event. So yes, I did try to ruin my appetite! Who wouldn't if you know you were getting some great quality ice cream? The guy that helped me at window #2 last Thursday late afternoon was really cool! He gave me a free sample of the Buckeye ice cream because I told him I wanted something peanut butter. This ice cream hit the spot! I got it in a small waffle cone. It was 3 scoops of white and chocolate mixed ice cream with some small peanut butter cup chips. It was an amazing treat on a little bit warmer day! I downed my ice cream super fast as I had to complete my 2fer at the Slice House located next door! I was literally finishing my ice cream cone as I was ordering inside the pizza place!Overall, a cool visit here, pun intended! There is no inside to eat in here, but some limited seating around outside. The place was very clean outside though. I can't wait to come back here again when passing through! So far, they don't have a discount ice cream day on Wednesdays or Thursdays like the ones in Upland and Rancho, but hopefully they will soon! I recommend you give them a try or come back for more!!!

Love the expansive menu to choose flavors from, it was so hard to choose! Would definitely recommend sharing a sundae or four sampler. Staff is extremely limited so expect longer wait times. However for the price and portion (they really don't skimp on their scoops!!), I can definitely see why it's worth it.

There was a long line on a Friday night, but it moved surprisingly quickly. This location is strictly a walk-up window with a few outdoor seats.The service was just okay. It's staffed mostly by younger employees who seem inexperienced. Their attitude was a bit indifferent, especially the girl handing out the ice cream--it didn't leave the best impression.That said, the ice cream itself was great, as always. One note: if you're a fan of authentic green tea ice cream, their version might not hit the mark--it's missing that true green tea flavor.Overall, a good spot for ice cream, but don't expect much from the service.

Thank you for opening a location in Eastvale!This place is so new and the line is still about 1 hour or so if you're at the back of the line. We decided to go on a Sunday night. The line moves, slowly, but it moves! We got a quart of the graham central station, a medium cheesecake meets Oreo, and a small vanilla cherry. The last order I asked for a cake cone but the person that helped me was distracted by my baby lol and gave me a sugar cone instead. I did bring it up that the cone was not what I asked but he insisted that I asked for the sugar lol whatever, after waiting 1 hour for ice cream, I just want to eat it!I didn't take any pictures there, we just enjoyed them right away. They have some outdoor seatings right next to Handel's and some that are shared with the restaurants next doors. Ice cream quality is pretty consistent with the other Handel's we've tried. There are plenty of workers when we visited but it takes a while after you order for them to get your ice cream. We enjoyed the cheesecakes meets Oreo and the vanilla chere on site (no pic, we ate it all :D), and took the quart of graham central station home, so maybe I'll post a picture of that one later on before we start eating it all!

Hi!Today was the Handel's in Eastvalle official grand opening! As a fan of the Handel's in Newport Beach I had to give this one a try...I'm thrilled to say this Handel's serves the same high quality ice cream as the one in Newport Beach. I had a double scoop in a cup. Both Black Cherry and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Both were very good. Rich and creamy!Although there was a line, the service was excellent and the line went quickly!The prices at Handles are not the cheapest, both the quality is very good and the scoops are large! The best part is I paid with credit card and was not presented with the notorious "tip" screen! There was a tip cup outside and that is just fine!There is outside seating and the parking more than adequate. I even won a free Handles insulated ice cream tote bag!Definitely worth giving this place a try!Jim

I was genuinely disappointed with my experience at this Handel's. Perhaps because they are new, but the serving sizes were incredibly small.I ordered the sampler, which was supposed to include one scoop of each flavor. However, when I received my box, it looked like half a scoop of each. I finished each flavor in just two to three bites. It certainly lived up to being a "sampler," but it was not worth the wait in the hot sun. The same with the small size (2scoops and a half). It was so small portioned my partner finished his ice cream before I even got my sampler. The service was average. Despite having many employees bustling around, it still took a while to be attended to. Since it's an outdoor service, be prepared to wait outside.Hopefully it gets better with time. And eventually they give normal portion sizes. I don't remember other handels being so conservative with their portions. I love their flavors so I'm sure I'll be back but maybe months from now once they're settled.

This place just opened in the area so we were excited to come by to get some ice cream with the kids. We've been to other locations so we figured we'll get the same experience as we do others. The line was average with a wait of 5-10 mins before ordering when we came. There were about 4 windows opened. The guy who got us seemed to just want us to order. No interaction. No recommendations. Just hi, what can I get you and wait there for your ice cream. Not personable at all like other locations. Not much seatings and it's a crowded plaza. Also tons of flies at the window. (Hoping none were in the ice cream) We got two samplers, which comes with 4 scoops of ice cream each. Usually the sampler is a nice full single scoop for each flavor but this location seems to give smaller scoops for their samplers. Totally disappointed when we received our order. Ice cream is comparable to Bruster's Ice cream and we probably won't be back to this location since portions are less than the norm from other locations and we rather just make the drive to the other locations instead.

I'm thrilled that Handel's has opened in Eastvale! No more 20-30 minute drives for me. The ice cream is always fresh, creamy, and top-notch quality. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly. It's conveniently located right next to Tae Kwon Do in the Ralph's plaza, and they even have some outdoor seating.

Bomb AF BUT Slow AFIce Cream is premium here but they need more staff, and a better way of doing things. It should not take this long to scoop ice cream. It's 2025, there's got to be a better way of doing things.It's almost insulting seeing the staff move so slow.
