Mojarra al mojo de ajo is delish! Agua de Jamaica is the best I've ever had, made with the real hibiscus flower.
This place is decorated nicely, they're getting there, calm afternoon atmosphere.

A hole-in-the-wall kinda place but the food is good-- try te pupusas and the salvadorean tamales!

Another visit to The Guac, and this time was BEST of all! I called in an order of 11. The patient lady could not speak English but fortunately I speak pupusa. The pupusas were larger and thicker than before, super hot, and some of the insides came out and made amazing crispy spots. Yum. Mrs. Yelper took some to work for a co-worker, who is naturally now terribly beholden to Mrs. Yelper. You can't get these too many places.

Order some atole de elote and it was ice cold stead of hot . The restaurant looks dirty and wires all over the place, food and drinks all over cashiers station, it doesn't look sanitary.

This place used to be decent but a lot of the ingredients changed including the quality, quantity and size. I would not recommend them at all.Pupusa day is Wednesday and you can get pupusas for a dollar each. If you disregard my review than Wednesday would be the day to come.

The pupusas, curtido, red sauce had no flavor at all. The pupusas were a nice size but where was the ingredients? Felt like we were just eating masa. This will be the first and last time eating here.

By far some of the work customer service! They aren't the best at providing customer service but they have cheap dollar pupusas. If you call in and you know it'll be an hour before they're ready and you'll have to wait an hour to pay for them then it's worth your trip considering they are only a dollar. Definitely would not pay more for these

Went here on a Sunday evening just before 6 pm. There were two women in the back/kitchen that I could see and I stood there for a good 5 minutes yelling "hello" and waving my arms to get their attention and they completely ignored me. Not to mention the door has a loud ring when you enter. No music was playing. Was looking forward to trying some pupusas but to the owner of this restaurant, you need to check on your employees.Beware non-Spanish speakers. All the tips for this restaurant say you are treated better if you speak their language. That shouldn't mean you treat non-speakers sub par. Gross service.
