Golene's Vegan Kitchen

As someone who's been following this business's Instagram for some time, I was pleasantly surprised to discover them during a farmer's market event at Loma Linda. Upon walking up to the food truck, I liked how their digital menu was shaded with an umbrella and staff was friendly and attentive. Hubby informed the staff about his nut allergy and staff quickly confirmed that he could eat all menu items and the cheese they use is coconut based. After looking at the menu, I decided to try the fried tofu and the mac and cheese egg rolls while hubby decided to try their carne asada fries. We were especially excited to see that they offer grape kool-aid to drink which made us feel nostalgic as kids of the eighties.They fried tofu was fabulous especially with the Thai chili dipping sauce. The mac and cheese egg roll was phenomenal in that crispy on the outside and packed and cheese on the inside. Hubby said that the carne asada fries were delicious and flavorful. The bottle of grape kool-aid was the perfect way to end the meal.My only annoyance with the food turck experience was that their desert of apple pie egg rolls was unavailable otherwise, I absolutely would've ordered those along with our other food items.Other than that slight annoyance of no desert, the food was so delicious, we will definitely plan to eat at their food truck the next time we have a chance!

Hub and I had Yolanda's Cauliflower Chickn' plate a couple weeks back and wow. Yummy! Although spicy (we didn't know it was supposed to be), the crunch on those pieces were amazing! It came with a side of coleslaw and corn on the cob. We also got the mac n cheeze eggrolls and I loved them. I love anything mac n cheeze lol Hub who is not a major fan of mac n cheeze, enjoyed these so much he had 2 eggrolls! That says a lot about those babies. our 2yo also enjoyed the mac n cheeze, in traditional form, with a fork and without the eggroll wrap will definitely try other dishes in the future! Customer service is A++! Thank you tons Yolanda!

Such awesome food!! Everything was fresh and delicious. My 3 year old finished everything on her plate. Yolanda was a joy to work with and even delivered our meals! Will definitely be ordering again in the very near future!

I absolutely LOVE Golene's. This is one of the very first vegan home based restaurants I had ever tried, this was over a year ago and I have been HOOKED ever since!! Literally everything that I have tried is amazing!! She recently started selling strawberry cupcakes... I cant get enough of them. I am the only vegan in my family and they are all hooked on her food and cupcakes!! Whether you are vegan or not, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check her out! I promise you, you won't be disappointed!! She is the sweetest person ever!! Such a kind and gentle human.

I went to this place today at MSJC for the juneteenth festival. the wait was suuuuper long which i know can be frustrating at first but to anyone that wants to try this place, trust me just hang in there because the wait is 1000% worth it. best vegan cajun shrimp i've ever had! best vegan shrimp i've had PERIOD!

i waited an hour and a half for 2 items.... but damn it was so good. so much flavor. and the lady working was so nice, truly sorry about it taking forever. they could work on the speed of the food but the quality of the food was absolutely there

Love their egg roll Mac and cheese! My go to order is their carne Assad fries. Delissh

First time trying it and we were super impressed. The cauliflower fried chicken is delicious! My 17 month old is super picky and just scarfed it down. We will definitely be back. Thank you for serving the community with this delicious plant based food! You are truly gifted.
