Golden Dragon

Typical Chinese steam table shop. Stopped by to satisfy a chow mein craving. I rate these places by how close they are to Mom's cooking, fresh, mildly seasoned Cantonese-American, a very attainable bar. Mom was a good cook with a limited repertoire.Food was just okay, acceptable but not much "wok hay," wok aroma that comes from the slight char of vegetables and meat hitting the hot oil and steel. Without that, Cantonese food will taste steamed.I walked in at 8 pm. The trays were still being filled so it's fresh even after the dinner hour.It's in a big strip mall. There's plenty of parking. There are plenty of fast food choices within a couple of hundred feet. Everyone in your crowd can get something different. The competition is fierce.I would go back, but there is a better place less than 2 miles away, plus the fast food choices nearby.

Food and service was undescribable rude I had gotten combo C. And got beef and broccoli, but the lady gave me straight broccoli when I asked for extra beef She had the audacity to say it'll be two bucks extra

Great tasting food, large portions and a low price! Glad we came by! I got the three protein plate and my girl got the two protein plate w chow mein.

I got horrible food poisoning from this place after eating it last night. Definitely won't ever be back

I had to leave a star it's doesn't even deserve that nasty nasty old food. I almost choked on it. Don't go here

Friend and I came here, my friend got food poisoning from this place. Spicy orange chicken and pepper chicken is what she ordered. Throwing up for two days. We came at around 8pm and food was eaten immediately, not like it sat out. My stomach was very upset and not the best bathroom experience. Will not be coming back.

Jennifer is one of the most friendliest people! The food is always amazing and affordable! We go here at least twice a month!

Okay so I rounded up. Let's call it 4.5 stars.Food seemed fresh. Price was decent, service was good for a fast food styled place. I have no clue what people want for $12-$13 I would buy here again.

We have been eating a late lunch here just about every Tuesday for a few months now but the past couple of weeks we have not been happy with the chow mein. It's obviously reheated and reheated poorly at that-- it still has cold spots. We don't take it to go so we basically eat it within a couple minutes of it being served. Unfortunately since the cold noodles weren't an isolated incident and seems to be the new norm, we aren't going to eat here for the time being. Maybe they're having management issues? I don't know but I know I don't like the degraded quality of the food.

Best Chinese food I've tried in the area ! We always go late so the have less food but still delicious
