Foster's Donuts

Unfortunately, it's not a great spot. I feel like their motto is " why are you here?" We stopped by to get something sweet after visiting another local spot in the area. Now I don't expect top customer service but I do expect common courtesy. As we walked in we saw a lady working behind the counter and she was on the phone so we stood around awkwardly for awhile. Finally, a guy stood up from the back and sighed as he walked up to counter. He firmly and swiftly asked " what do you want?" After telling him our order he asked us " is that it?" When I asked him if they have touch to pay via our phone, he just looked at me and pointed at his machine but I could not reach it. He kept sighing and I had to reach my arm underneath their glass to pay. When the transaction finished he said loudly " BYE!" which I took as I need to leave immediately and i am not welcome here. The donuts were over 7 dollars for 3 so it's also quite expensive here and the quality was also not fresh. There are so many other donut spots so I just won't return. :)

I don't really know if everything is bigger in Texas, but Foster's Donuts believes they have Texas sized donuts, see my pic, they are huge. At the corner of Tennessee St and Colton Ave, they can be a bit difficult to access. But open 24/7 to get a sugar/donut fix, you can plan accordingly. Once I was in the parking lot, they had 2 doors open, see pic, and it was smooth sailing from there.Fortunately, they had a small sized apple fritter. It was as expected: amply glazed, doughy on the inside with a firmer skin, and some cooked pieces of apples inside. It was good.I liked the variety that I saw, and the novelty items such as the Texas Sized donuts. They also had some other overly sized items. This was counter-balanced with some smaller sized items, such as my apple fritter - which was the right size today.

The guy in back with a missing tooth always changes the prices on doughnuts be careful Ripped me off for 50 cents Really are you that petty to over charge a doughnut

The rudest donut shop ever! The older lady never talks and acts as if she has better things to do! Never again will I come here!!!

The ambiance is ummm...you guys it's a donut shop so ya know. The service is quick and the donuts are delicious.

I bought an old fashion, apple fritter, a dozen cream puffs and a Texas size donut for my sick grandchildren. I only had the chance to taste the cream puffs and they were really amazingly delicious. Their cream puffs are big to be considered a bite size cause I had to bite it twice compared to some I had bought from other donut places. Plus the chocolate on top of the puffs are not just a strip of chocolate like others but really dipped with yummy chocolate and every bite you can taste chocolate coming together in my mouth with the custard filling and the dough .... I am planning to get more ...After delivering the doughnuts to my grandchildren I decided to chk in on YELP and at the same time just see how this place rated on Yelp .To my dismay there were so many 1 star rates due to rudeness of the cashier, comments were towards this Asian lady who was rude!!! As a matter fact I kinda look back at the time that I made my purchase few minutes ago .... hmmmm she was rude cause I was asking questions and she was rudely responding to me like why bother her with damn questions lol ... I was just so happy seeing those cream puffs that I really wasn't paying attention to her ... It was so hot that I just wanted to make my purchase and leave.The store also had few 4 stars reviews but I paid more attention to the 1 star reviews that outnumbered the 4 and they were pretty bad comments.Some were just plain rudeness and some mentioning about not sanitizing after picking up something from floor, touching money then going back to knead the dough without washing hands ....Now I'm not sure if I should go back and get those amazing cream puffs now ... WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS ??? SHOULD I GO BACK OR NOT??? please comment andCheck other reviews!!

These donuts were not good, had no flavor just tasted greasy, like the most cheap grease you can buy that has no flavor. A woman stood up and approached the counter with no customer service skills. She just kept saying and what and what else and seemed overly rushed to have me order in a hurry, and to have the other person charge me quickly like it was a matter of life and death. Very dramatic when I was the only customer there. The donuts are also over priced when it's obvious they are using very cheap/ questionable ingredients.

Got a ham and egg croissant sandwich. Was so disgusted and I do not get queasy easily. The ham was grey and the one and only bite I took of it felt like rubber. I almost feel like it wasn't ham at all. Waste of money.

Went in early morning for a donut and juice. A very polite woman came in to order and couldn't make up her mind. The lady behind the counter pressured her and said "Make up your mind"! I was shocked. Then when the nice lady ordering changed her mind about which donut she wanted, the lady behind the counter said "I knew it", then threw the lady's donut in the bag. The lady ordering was polite and addressed the situation by saying "I'm not sure why you are being rude to me, I'm just here to give you business and I don't deserve this treatment". She left without anything. I didn't blame her

Worst donut shop I've been to and the most horrible customer service I've ever experienced.Very rude and used slander on customer.I asked to put donuts in separate bags and she got mad.Lastly,asked to run card first as if I couldn't pay which is rude.
