Filippi's Pizza Grotto - Norco

The food was absolutely exceptional. We had the lasagna. The portion size was great, and I did take my time to enjoy the party of flavors in my mouth.The service was great, and very friendly. Do your self a favor if you want superior Italian food this is the place. Trust me you will never go back to that Olive place. lol

Rating is based on the additional hidden Supplemental Fee, What that for? If it's to supplement the cost of, just rase you prices. Hidden fees like that will drive customers away, including us.We normally only order the Torpedo sandwich and Antipasto salad which are very good. Sometimes we order a couple of bones if they have them. Prime rib is good also, only place I have found better Prime rib is at Orange Hills restaurant. We never order any pasta dishes at Filippi's because their sauce tastes like they opened a can of tomato paste thinned with water and poured over the pasta.

Best Italian food in Norco. I strongly suggest the Bones. They sale out fast because they are so darn tasty. My second favorite is the meat lasagna. It's a bit dark inside but it's a nice relaxing establishment. The waitress are very sweet and check on you regularly. Also very clean.

We ordered pepperoni pizza, lasagna, side salad and garlic bread. Pizza came out hot and amazing the lasagna lacked meat from the meat sauce and didn't come out hot at all. There was too much dressing on the salad but the garlic bread was amazing. There was one waitress for the whole restaurant which we felt bad because she definitely was busy. Not like the one in san Diego it definitely needs to step its game up, but it was good enough.

We love the food and their cocktail bar is excellent! Great service. It's with coming just for the sauce.

Yesterday was my second time coming here. I came back for the delicious lasagna. I picked up one for my husband too and we loved it. Unfortunately, the chicken Parmigian I got for my son was disappointing. The thin piece of chicken came out of its crust and although the top of the dish was covered with sauce and cheese the rest of the spaghetti was dry. The garlic knots were so good covered in garlic. The customer service was outstanding.

Rating is for pricing and poor service. There is a 4% "supplemental fee" on all orders very small print on the receipt. Also 1 meatball is 13.90 vs 7.95 at any other Filippis. Last, service was terrible. Got food and never saw waiter again. Then when we tried to change my flat soda I got charged for it and a Sprite and they refused to remove the double charge. The menu prices are way more than any other Filippis in our experience, just beware. 32.95 for large pizza. Side salad is 8.95, pizza was burnt on the bottom no offer to replace.

Terrible customer service. Hosted seated us then we sat there and sat there and sat there some more. Several waiters looked right at us but no one ever came over. Finally looked like a waitress was heading are way but she walked to the table right next to us instead. The place was pretty empty and it is apparent why. Very sad, we try to stay local but absolutely no customer service.
