Fete The Venue is one of my favorite spaces to design a wedding simply because the space is versatile and modern. It can be designed to be classic, modern, traditional, or whimsical.  From a vendor perspective, we love working with properties that are innovative, have the client's best interests, and always willing to work as a team to create the client's vision.  We have had the honor to coordinate and provide floral services in their space.  Not only are their pricing competitive, but one of the few properties in orange county that can accommodate a large guest count.  They also have a variety of partnerships with caterers who provide cultural cuisine to fit any wedding/event palette.  A true gem in orange county.  We have seen this venue transform from weddings to corporate meetings/luncheons.  I would highly recommend reaching out if your looking for an event space.

We had our perfect wedding at Fete the Venue on 11/11/23 and we loved this venue! When I started to look for venues I fell in love with them immediately, but kept looking because I felt it was too good to be true to find a venue this quickly. But as I continued my search, I came to realize that it is too good, and it is true!Sarah was great to work with and she was our main contact at Fete. There were times where I would have to re-email her to get a response, but I had to do this with other vendors as well. Even with a few delayed responses, she was kind and professional. The Venue also made it easy to switch payment methods when needed. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and was so easy going and accommodating with a lot of our requests. She definitely wanted to make sure we had a great time.We had 9 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen and I felt we were able to fit in the Bride and groom's Suite just fine. We did also have parents, and vendors floating around too and it still felt comfortable. But more than that, maybe not haha. When we did our initial walk through with Sarah we saw the groom's suite and it was not bad, but ever since they updated it, I could not wait to get my husband in there and see all of the photos from the day! It is so sleek and just gorgeous. Any groom and his party would think it was perfect for them. I'm glad both parties were able to get perfect spaces.A few things I would bring to any bride and groom's attention about Fete is that they have some restrictions and requirements such as no fog machines, dry ice machines, no sparklers, and no shots at the bar. And if you would like a signature drink at your wedding, you HAVE to get the top drink package or pay for each signature drink individually. They state this is because the signature drink will most likely be the most popular drink (Which it may be) and they will need to buy more of the ingredients to comply with the demand. I understand this, just wish I would have known this prior. However, we still had the open bar and our guests were happy with the drinks and beers that were available. Also all vendors must sign a one time vendor agreement, and provide proof of insurance. Our hair and make-up artist were freelance and did not have insurance, but Sarah provided me with a web page to get a day of insurance for about $100-$120. Our Hair and make up artist were accommodating and we were able to get that easily taken care of. So if you have your dream vendor picked out but they are not insured, that is a conversation you will need to have with them, and another task to do. But most vendors will have likely run into this before so it wasn't an issue as they know the drill. With that being said, I understand as a business why they do this. But as the consumer, it is information to know to see if this is your perfect venue.Another piece of information is that Fete has a list of exclusive caters that they offer you to use, but if you decide to go with an outside caterer, they charge a $2,500 buy out fee. We did go with one of their exclusive caterers (All Above Catering), and we were more than happy with them. This venue and the exclusive caterer did not charge a service fee, which I think is huge. Outside caterers were quoting us thousands, and sometimes charging more than what was offered with Fete. So with the service fee from other caterers, and the buy out fee, it just made more financial sense to go with an exclusive vendor. Another reason to go wit an exclusive vendor is because you know they will work well with the venue and you can have the piece of mind that both vendors will keep the other in check. I will say we did spend a pretty penny on our entire wedding, and of course, food, drinks, and venue were a big chunk of that, but I wouldn't change a thing.After our wedding we were surprised to find a card in the mail a few weeks after our wedding from Fete with a thank you and congratulatory message. We thought that was so sweet and a nice touch. The venue is beautiful and they seem to always be making new updates or normal upkeep to keep the venue looking prestigious. This venue is very versatile to host any theme wedding or event. With that being said, I would absolutely recommend Fete! Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Disclaimer: this is a review as a guest, not as someone who rented out this place as I'm reading over the reviews.------------------Stumbling in on an overcast day, in my suit with an oversized wedding gift, we arrived at Fete the venue in Costa Mesa. Parking was limited as such is the venue but it makes sense as it was an intimate gathering for close friends. After checking in, we were enjoying Furiwa catering out in the courtyard. Allow me to set the scene, vintage glass lights crisscrossed the horizon, surrounded by modern wooden fence and lush green lawn. Makes for a scenic backdrop for memorable pictures. Now on to the food, furiwa's fried shu mai is the most SCRUMPTIOUS food you will ever taste! It was crunchy, rich in umami flavor in the center, with a kick of spice before BLOSSOMING into a subtle, delicate sweet aftertaste. If Willy Wonka made Dim Sun, this ever changing Shu Mai would be it! 100 Willy Wonkas out of 10 rating. The egg roll was also good but not as great. 3/5 stars even though it made for a very nice picture! The inside of fete was like a warehouse which is so cool for wedding reception these days. Fete being French for a great celebration or feast is appropriately named as the venue provided for a nice, intimate, but wild atmosphere. The bar in the back is permanent and provided lots of drinks such as midori sour, old fashioned, cranberry/pineapple vodka, Cuba libre. All in all, 5/5 stars for this venue!

Attended a party at this place last night. It is in an industrial part of Costa Mesa / Newport Beach area. It is a warehouse that has been converted to a party venue. The transformation was amazing as there were chandlers everywhere and great lighting. A stage for the DJ. And the back was converted under a tent where they served a variety of food. Expansive bar area. Very nicely done.

This one of my favorite venues in Orange County. Fete, The Venue is perfect for any event. Corporate, weddings, or social. I love the vibe and how the place is interior designed. It is like a modern provincial French look. The wood chandeliers are one of my favorite elements. I had an event here and working with the Venue Sales Manager, Christina G. was great. Christina made it so easy. She was professional, knowledgeable, and has an amazing personality. It is hard to find a sales/events manager who is so good and has a background in all aspects of events. Seriously, loved working with her. The owner, Kristi R. was fabulous and you can tell the venue is her baby. It is beautiful and well done and executed. Kristi is so on top of it and personable as well. What a great team!Here are some bonus points about. They have bars already at there. Their lounge vignettes are charming and chic! The chair that goes with the venue is a fruitwood chiavari chair, which is great because it is not an ugly corporate looking or folding chair that you see at a community center's bingo night. If you are a bride, they have one of my favorite bridal suites. Even the restrooms are nice. They even have an in-house sound system and AV. Projectors and screens are available and so perfect for corporate events. What is great is they have their in-house catering company called Above All Catering. Their food is do good and they created a wood swing that matches the venue perfectly. An event can have their cheese and charcuterie display on their. I completely love this place and cannot wait to have another event here!

Fete reviewBest venue in SoCal!As a catering company, we work at many different venues, and Fete the Venue is by far our favorite. It's the best!We have catered for a variety of unique events there, and the ballroom transfers to whatever theme you can dream up. It's a blank slate to work with, very light and airy, and the high ceilings give it a nice open look. It's exciting to see how different the room looks each time we are there.The outside patio is a wonderful option for your guests to get a breath of fresh air, or set the theme for the event, and it is a beautiful ceremony site. Opening the roll-up doors make an awesome grand entrance for any event, especially a Wedding reception.It is on one level, so there are no stairs or elevators to deal with, and very convenient for the guests to park and enter easily. It's very well maintained, and always clean.There is always staff on-site at every event, so there is never a problem that isn't solved quickly, and everyone is such a pleasure to work with, especially Sarah. She is amazing!I would highly recommend Fete the Venue when planning any event to ensure that your day will be a success, leaving your guests with a smile and ready to return again soon! Loved it! Just had my Sweet 16 here and it was amazing! The place looked so elegantly decorated and the food was delicious. Also the staff were so quick and kind to answer any questions we had and provided amazing support before and during the party. Definitely recommend

From start to finish, Fete the Venue has been nothing short of amazing. Kristi, the owner of the Fete, has been kind, gracious, and wonderful.Just a bit of background, In April 2022, I had to pull out of my original venue for my July 2022 wedding. I was frantically trying to find a venue that would be available and could host our guest count (300-350 guests). Somehow I lucked out and came across The Fete. From the moment I met with Kristi, I felt reassured and at ease. Unlike my previous experience with my original venue, Kristi was very upfront, honest, and genuinely wanted to help us.The Fete is a beautiful and roomy venue. There is a spacious outdoor grassy area that was perfect for our cocktail hour. The outdoor area had enough space for a bar, tables/seating areas, our welcome table, and we even brought in our own lawn games to entertain guests.The inside was even more spacious. Even with our large guest count, we were able to fit everyone without it being cramped. Aside from the chandeliers hanging from the top of the ceilings, the inside is more of a blank canvas. For us, that was what we wanted because we wanted to decorate the inside to match our celestial themed wedding. The bathrooms and bridal suite were clean, luxurious, and beautiful as well. With our guest count we needed to have valet for our wedding. The valet hired by the Fete was very fast and professional, a lot of my guests really liked this service. The bar service was also excellent as well. There was never a long line to get drinks, it was all done so efficiently. My guests couldn't stop raving about the venue. I highly recommend the Fete for anyone planning a special event. From start to finish, Kristi and Sarah have been absolutely wonderful. You can feel rest assured that they will work hard to ensure your day is special and run smooth.

After attending many work functions and parties at different venues I highly appreciate this venue. There is enough room for everyone here and it doesn''t feel crowded. Very nice, comfy and well decorated indoor and outdoor spaces. It is a classy establishment.
