Empire Buffet

I had never been to this Buffet until this past Saturday. I walked inside with the thought in my head that I was going to find a typical buffet and probably not like it because I just don't do buffets. Well... I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the buffet lines filled with beautiful looking food, huge variety of foods that included asian fare, seafood, a sushi/sashimi bar and a Mongolian BBQ grill. The food was pretty darn good and the sushi/sashimi was excellent- very fresh and delicious.The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Petty clean inside as well. Looking forward to going back soon.

Brought the grandkids and wife here for dinner! The food was ok nothing special! The four of us ran $85.

THE BEST BUFFET IN THE I.E I'm telling you guys that right now! All there seafood is bomb!! Especially there fry shrimp and crab!!! I recommend this buffet if you and your family ever wanna go to a buffet and grub out!!

It was our first time here. We've made reservations for 18 people because we wanted an AYCE place after we've attended a graduation. It's a pretty good size restaurant, too. The service AND the food were amazing! The staff were very accommodating and nice! There were a good selection of seafood, meat, soup and veggies! I've tried a good amount of dishes and they were delish! I would definitely come back, only if I'm around the neighborhood because it was a drive from Costa Mesa! I highly recommend this place if ever you're very hungry!

My family and I used to go here a lot--great variety, one of the better chinese buffets and fresh sushi--but one day we saw a girl put the communal sushi tongs in her mouth while none of the workers did anything about it...major turn off unfortunately.

The ambiance was great, and the cleanliness was on point. Amiable staff. A few items lacked some flavor, but for the most part, the food was tasty and hot. $22 per person seems expensive, but it was a great deal for a buffet! We had a birthday girl with us. I don't know if they charged for the entire cake (we thought she was going to get a small slice), but it was good as well.

Ambiance: My parents and I came in on a Sunday night for dinner. It was pretty packed with small & large groups of people. There's plenty of parking out in the front! The restaurant is located in a somewhat ghost town kind of plaza. We waited about 15-20 minutes. The restaurant is somewhat clean. Food: The selection of food is pretty overwhelming. They have anything from sushi, hibachi, fried foods, salad/soup, pizza, Chinese entrees, to desserts! That being said, my biggest reason for the 3 stars is the quality of food. Don't get me wrong, some of the entrees are great while others lacked flavor, have TOO much flavor, are too chewy, etc. I do love that they are always restocking the food. There never seems to be a time where they are out of something. Hibachi seems to be a fave in the buffet, but just be aware there is a wait! Some faves: buttered potatoes, lychee, sushi, green beans, ice cream The buffet is reasonably priced!

This review is for the price paid, ambiance, food offerings and service.Sadly, I've lost any hopes in buffets, the last ones I visited was in L.A, Vegas and Fuji Buffets both located in Glendale, Ca was a terrible experience so when my cousin invited me for a New Years Day lunch my expectations were already low. To my surprise, the inside was very spacious although, some of the tables were close together. Nonetheless, those in the front made it work to ensure people weren't in each other's way. they offered all day dinner at an affordable price of $21.99. Decided to scope the food out first, although I have a shellfish allergy, I always think about the others in the party! They offered crab, lobster, crawfish, oysters, clams, mussels, really nice-looking sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, decent Chinese hot food; Mongolian beef, fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, honey chicken, beef and broccoli, fried tofu. A kid's area such as; fried chicken, French fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, sesame balls, malasadas (or fried doughnuts) soup station, a good salad area and a DIY Mongolian area. The customer service was very good, attentive workers and although those in the back kept coming back to the lobster station to grab the good pieces, (as I watched) All was fine, I have to give them kudos for the price we paid, the food and service. For the 5 of us without tip was $125, great price for now till it goes up to $35.99 AYCE. Give them a try, but come for dinner, lunch not really worth it!!

‼ I hate how the fish have barley any water and they're so many ! They even throw coins in there , apart from that the food was great but I felt bad for the fish hopefully they fix this !
