Emerald Event Hall

Worst place to do an event. They have a rude waitstaff that are nothing nice or even smile. Very serious and quiet. I was a vendor and was told by the host that I could eat. They had told me that there was no more food left over. I was ok with that until the end when they dropped the leftovers trying to take it back to theirs house. Karma is a mug lol.

Nada de profesionalismo de parte de la encargada de este lugar, fui de invitada a una fiesta y no le alcanzo la comida y no estaban organizados para lo que la festejada les pidió, muy mal trato a los invitados, no recomiendo para nada este lugar, la personas que si comieron dijeron que se miraba una comida barata y con muy mal sabor. No había seguridad en el lugar y era un lugar grande y con muchas personas

If I can give her 0 stars I would! please take your money else where! this lady is so money hungry it's crazy if she can charge you for breathing her direction she would! I was a maid of honor so I was there for the tour of the place and I was there at the end(the party) first day of tour bride put deposit because she made it seem like this place was so magical! she said there would be servers,securities after party clean up crew all these things would be included in the price. she also said that bride would have first choice in other location just in case it rains and this January 14th it was pouring so weeks before the groom texted this lady and she responded with Im not sure if the other location is available because i have someone interested in it, groom texted her with a reminder saying that she told them about the 1st choice would be them and then boom she says ok the new location is at Emerald hall in perris is available! When we went to set up she was saying "i'm leaving this place for the same price" because supposedly the hall was way more expensive! and she kept mentioning it, like ok girl we get it but next time don't say that the place would be available if it rained . please get your contract itemized with everything because when bride and groom tasted the nasty tasteless food they only got $500 refund but if they had gone with their food and they had more than the 100 people it would have been $40 per plate. so it's crazy that they only got $500 back! The day of the party we couldn't go in till exactly the time the party started and mind you she was giving tours with all of our decor and food items already in there. when the ceremony started she had people coming in to see the special moment, she really couldn't wait till maybe after the party ? i guess not! so going into the restrooms there was a HUGE cockroach she couldn't even keep the bathrooms clean before we got there ?! once food was about to get served someone told us that this lady took some of our plates and utensils into the kitchen the same kitchen she said we had no access to so why were they taken back there ? if you still consider this place for your event please make sure everything is priced she will literally scam you ! This review is also for the san antonio venue in menifee. STAY AWAY from making business with these people.

WARNING ZERO STARTSWhen thinking of renting this hall be advised ; have the owner itemize all charges and read the contract with The owner present prior to signing or giving any type of deposit.It was to our great regret to have put our trust that the contract would be honored, and there would be no unexpected or added charges. Once the contract was signed, and a deposit was given the owner disclosed that there would be several separate charges such as: charge for using electricity for a live band $450. When our intentions of having a live band were disclosed at the initial meeting and the owner failed to inform us of such fee. As time went on, she also disclosed there would be a fee if we brought in our own cake vendor and for distribution of cake and clean up, fee if the band took too long to disconnect, fee if we wanted salsa with our meals. It's of very low ethical standards to have a contract that does not disclose all or possible fees. It's very deceitful to have conversations with the owner about our plans and intentions and for her to never disclose the extra fees that would apply to our specific wants and needs. Once these concerns were addressed the owner failed to answer text and calls. Once she was finally reached her response to our concerns to the added fees was to go back and read the contract regarding no reimbursement for the deposit given. However, she won't hold herself accountable for not disclosing the extra fees mentioned above that are never mentioned in said contract. With that said the owner seems to only honor her contract to what best benefits her and not the client. The lack of communication, business ethic and integrity is disappointing beyond belief!

OJO! OJO! OJO!!!Gente de Perris y sus alrededores! Por favor tomen el tiempo de leer los comentarios hacerca se este salón. Fue un GRAN ERROR que nosotros cometimos de NO HABERLO HECHO antes de hacer contrato con la señora Esmeralda. Tuvimos nuestro evento el mes de Agosto del 2024. Durante la primera cita, esta señora nos hizo ver que ellos hacen que la gente disfrute su evento y que ellos se encargan de que todo salga bien. MENTIRA!!! Nosotros confiamos plenamente en ella y hicimos contrato ese mismo día. Durante el tiempo previo al evento era yo la que le tenía que llamar para ver las cosas que ella dijo que haríamos un mes antes de evento, por ejemplo, lo de la decoración y la comida. Fue muy desorganizada, nunca tuvimos la prueba de comida como ella nos prometió. Y ahora entendemos, la comida fue un FRACASO sirvió literalmente un platito de niños para adultos que nos hizo pasar una vergüenza con nuestros invitados. El bartender que prometió, era la señora Esmeralda por unas horas y después dejó a una mujer/mesera que la verdad no sabía preparar las bebidas y por si fuera poco dejaba abandonada la barra, al punto que mi esposo y familiares tuvieron que entrar a la barra y servir ellos. Nos prometió seguridad y nunca la vimos, el día del evento se metio un indigente al baño de hombres y GRACIAS A DIOS mi esposo fue el que tomó cartas sobre el asunto. Para resumir esta señora Esmeralda es irresponsable, nada profesional, desorganizada, MENTIROSA, se puede ver totalmente que solo le interesa el dinero, mas no sus clientes. NUNCA había tomado el tiempo de dejar un comentario, pero la verdad no queremos que otras personas pasen por lo que nosotros pasamos. Esto a causado des balance emocional en mi persona y no es justo.

I held my wedding at this venue in November 2023 and was disappointed with the service provided. From the beginning, it seemed that the focus was solely on maximizing profits. The organization was inadequate, and I frequently had to follow up to ensure a successful event. I ultimately hired a coordinator at the last minute because Esmeralda Salcedo, the co-owner, was disorganized and created unnecessary stress with additional charges. On the day of the wedding, she assured me that the food would be served on time, a security guard would be present, and a DJ would play our requested music. Unfortunately, none of these assurances were fulfilled. My family had to assist in setting things up as my guests arrived. I paid over $26,000, expecting at least a satisfactory outcome, but the experience fell far short of my expectations. It took a lot of me to sit down and share my experience because it was honestly very disappointing. I wish I would have done more research on this place and people in charge. I only share this so that others who are looking for an amazing experience don't get caught up with these people. I hate to be a person that complains and gives bad feedback but honestly I think I deserve to be able to speak up.

Oh yes, the hall is beautiful and the pictures are amazing. What you don't see is the frustration, anxiety, and tears before. Very unprofessional from the start. Does not honor the times of the food tastings and was not prepared when rescheduled several times. Asked to come back a third time and do a drive by. "Don't get out of your car, I'll have the spoon ready". If you decided to bring your own fake cake, she will charge you for the table to put it on. These fees are throughout the whole discussion after the contract is signed. And let it be known that she does not have a catering permit or license to provide alcohol. If you don't believe me, look it up. Also not told to us before booking the venue. We also caught her in a lie about having the place fumigated after witnessing a roach. If you book this venue after reading all the one reviews because they're all true, ill be waiting for your one review after mine.

Este lugar es bonito. Pero la dueña es una persona muy desagradable. No cumple lo que promete el día que hice el contrato con ella le dejé saber que tendríamos música en vivo, a lo cual ella dijo que todo estaba bien que no me preocupara, cuando le lleve el siguiente depósito me sacó cargos que nunca especificó en el contrato $450 porque la banda que iba a tocar, se iba a conectar a la electricidad. Cuándo renta uno un salón de eventos sin electricidad? Le quiere ver la cara a uno. cancelé mi contrato porque sacó que también tengo que parar la música, una hora antes de qué termine mi evento, pero eso lo hace sólo para que tú tengas que pagar por horas extras que porque la banda se tarda mucho en recoger sus instrumentos porque no me dejó saber todo eso el día que hizo el contrato? Fue plan con maña? Porque es una manera fácil de robar. Esa es la verdad cancelé mi contrato porque una persona así no se merece que uno se siga estresando por irresponsabilidades de ellos mismos. Lástima que no leí todos estos comentarios antes de haber confiado en alguien que no sabe ser responsable. También nunca te dice que tiene un socio el cual, según él me dijo que es su exmarido. No te dejas saber cuando va a cancelar o no se va apresentar a las citas que hace. Para todo tiene excusa y quiere que uno ceda y solamente se acuerda de su contrato Cuando a ella le conviene. Se quedó con $1500 que no me quiso regresar. Tengan cuidado lean los comentarios infórmense no es una persona derecha, más bien es una oportunista.. otra luz roja en sus redes sociales siempre son las mismas personas que le dan me gusta, probablemente familiares o amistades de ella y no comentarios eso es MUY MAL ESMERALDA

I called her multiple times. She quoted me a price over the phone for Sunday and Saturday. Saturday was $3950. Sunday would be $1950. I called her multiple times before this confirming the appointment and I also confirmed the price with her, her name is Esmeralda. I read the reviews, but I still decided to give it a chance. I go in for my appointment with a man she is not there . I don't know who he is, but she told me that somebody would be there. He quotes us a completely different price and then when we tell him what we were quoted, he calls her and comes back to us and said We don't do quotes over the phone. We do them in person. I immediately get frustrated because you're telling me this, but I got quoted over the phone. You need to be better at communicating with your business partner or be on the same page before your potential client gets here that is so unprofessional and it ruined my day because I thought I was going to book with them. if I could give them zero stars, I would. We called her and she did not answer. I see why they are so poorly rated.
