Most incredible family affair highlighting the Elf on the Shelf come to life amid twinkling lights, holiday tunes, and interactive displays to entertain all ages.Ticket times are strict. Lines are long way into the evening. However you can purchase VIP fee add ons which includes a shorter admission line, wrist bands, including hot cocoa and a technique imposing a special photo with Santa. However this Santa offered us to take a real selfie with him. You even help yourself to a candy cane.It begins with kiddies writing letters to Santa then your group passes a spirit meter and proceeds into the dazzling shrinking tunnel.Foot power gets you to many stations of an Elf on the Shelf dressed person juggling, doing gymnastics and more. The atmosphere is so lively and festive.Soon you arrive at an enclosure like a big circus tent with a musical performance of cheery song and dance. As you exit the big tent you line up to board trams without any wait time between trams. It's a Christmasy wonderland ride. They thought of everything/ you must ride through the Unshrinking tunnel to become life size again. Ho Ho Ho!!!When you get off the tram you can ice skate on the rink, purchase hot cocoa and visit the various offerings. But first the kiddies receive something from Mrs. Claus with their very own name on it.If only this came to our Honolulu Stadium parking lot- it is beyond AMAZING!!!Happy holidays!

I was really looking forward to this experience, but it fell a bit short. First, I wish I did not buy the VIP pass. For a small group of 3, it was not worth the money. We came to one of the earlier shifts so there were no long lines. Additionally, we had a handicap pass, so the VIP parking was the exact same location. Really, it seemed like I paid $65 for 3 small cups of cocoa and a photo with Santa on a green screen. Pros:-the idea is cute and very family friendly -i loved the show before the tram ride -the tram ride itself was nice-they have an ice skating rink Cons:-the woman who checked me in didn't give me a vip wristband even though she scanned all my materials in the beginning. This meant that I had to go back to the entrance to get our wristbands which was inconvenient. -in my opinion, the VIP pass isn't worth it unless you have a large group-hot cocoa was pre-poured and Luke warm -the line to get on the tram was a bit chaotic. Many families would cut in front of others to get in front of the line and there was no organized way to get folx on the tram-the add on necklaces were bells with some lights. I wish I saw what they looked like in advance. I wouldn't have ordered them. That being said, I still think this is a good event. I would just recommend that folx do not get any of the add on experiences.

We got in early into the spacious parking lot $15 charge no cash accepted only Plastic being accepted. Entrance was well managed & friendly staff available at all times for any questions. It's mainly a family friendly event, so if you don't like kids don't go. It starts being Magical from the moment you enter and write a letter for Santa Claus! I I know your kids will love riding on the tram and sightseeing all the beautiful lighted Christmas characters and enjoy the trendy Union Pacific Train which in my opinion was the best lit & eyeball attraction. It doesn't seem to be much but it's Perfect for Toddlers & Teens. The great Ice Rink was Fantastic & Fabulous, the price to pay was Fair enough to enjoy such art work. If you get hungry order from the boom tasting lunch truck !

This was so much fun!The magical journey was about an hr and half from start to finish. It's mostly outdoor, plus a short tram ride. At the end of the journey, there were lollipops and they even gave us a mini version of our letter to Santa, in a form of an orderment. How cute!! The whole experience were well put together. The lights, special effects, elf's performance, tram ride (stroller friendly too!), the letter to Santa orderments, small food court and gift shops, they even have a small ice rink on site. Saw other yelpers got to take pictures with Santa after the team ride... Last night wasn't the case, kind of sad because that'd actually be great especially for the little ones... We had a great time nonetheless. Parking is $15 per car. They accept cash or card.

I used my luck for 2020 for this.I saw a ticket giveaway and signed up and I got chosen to be the winner for this giveaway. Process of redeeming my ticket was easy. You email the vendor with voucher coupon provided my yelp and pick a date and time. Once date and time selected vendor emailed me with ticket with QR code for me to use. My boyfriend and I decided to go December 11 at 7:30 P.M. The line to check in wasn't too bad and they give you instruction on how to connect audio for the tour and gave us little packet with candy and paper/pen to write letter to santa. I thought it was to write a wish list to santa but if I had known those come out as ornament I would have put more time into it. Elfs were wearing masks and if you are planning on leaving your window open you should do the same considering covid. They had little snack bar you can order popcorn and hot cocoa. Whole process was fairly quick minus the traffic due to cars in front of you. I think this is definitely a must if you have a little kid. I witnessed bunch of cars with kids screaming especially when they saw the santa.

Before arriving it is recommended that everyone download the app so I downloaded the app before arriving and arrived at gate 17 as instructed on the day of festivities. Let's go on a little journey. Before we get started: use the restroom just after entrance if you must, turn off your headlights after being scanned in, purchase snacks, and enjoy the show. This was such a unique and fun way to get people involved and in Christmas spirits. We were shrunk into fun size and immersed into this Christmas wonderland. The elves were fun, acrobatic, and engaging. The lighting was such a nice touch and a narrator told a story with music in between time. You will see Santa towards the end and he is on your left--the drivers side. A photo is taken at the end with QR scan code to view and turned into a moving montage; you can purchase merchandise before exiting the fairplex. The whole experience was about 45 to 50 minutes-long. It was such a wonderful event although at times it felt a little bit rushed and the car line was long. Nevertheless, being in the car, I think this is what also brought uniqueness to the event as it is a drive thru. It was like stepping into jingle bells. Overall, a safe way to get people outdoors and covid compliant. ***Special thanks to Yelp, Margaret, and the elf on shelf staff--Thank you. Gracias. Grazie. Danke. Spasibo. Merci. Arigatō. Gamsahamnida. Děkuju. Ngiyabonga. Dhanyabad--All the languages in the world could not express my gratitude***

My four-star review might be skewed by the fact that my husband and I separated back in July, thus, I have been yearning for some sort of good spirit... The idea behind the holiday spirit has never before appealed to me like it has this year. It's not just COVID-19. It's the above unfortunate matter as well as the recent natural causes death of the only grandfather I ever knew. The Elf on the Shelf Journey deserves your expectations to be left at the gate. Instead, view the world through the innocent eyes of a child who just wants to be free and let loose for an approximate one-hour 1-mile-per-hour car ride... or as in my case Jeep ride. With a drop top. Clean your windows well if you aren't able to take photos outside of your vehicle this way.Yes, I'm up for mother of the year award because I let my children take their seatbelts off once our tour began. I allowed them to reach their hands out towards the "snow" that blew from towering machines above... I let them wave out further than normal to the "elves" who were performing dances, gymnastics routines, fun games, and shenanigans throughout the journey. All the while, we had the Elf on the Shelf app pre-downloaded on my iPad and its USB cable plugged into the Jeep so I could press next at each number-labeled site and we could all listen well with its above-average sound system. I found that the numbering sequence on the app itself might be a bit glitchy, but my Sprint data service did not give me grief. If your windows are down during the tour, they require all individuals to wear a mask. I'm not rolling my eyes. But yeah, we all played the part.At first, we were all a bit taken aback by having to scream and shout our Christmas joy at each "spirit esculation station," but by the time we got to Santa, my girls were filled with absolute glee about it. My eldest stated that "anyone who doesn't have fun during this journey doesn't know how to have fun in life." Fucking hell... when did this 7-year-old get so mature and wise beyond her years? My eyes welled up with tears.I refrained from paying the $75 to get a magical gift bag and take a transposed photo with Santa. Your family might be just as satisfied to cough up the money per person in the vehicle - which is a pretty penny - I paid $71 online for one adult and two children. Advanced tickets with time slot is required even for VIPs. Should you have children they will provide you with a packet to write Santa a letter. I didn't tell my kiddos WHAT to write beforehand, but I did prep them to concoct some ideas in their little grade school brains before we arrived. As we sat waiting for my mobile ticket to be scanned and further instructions, I heard my children's complete and unusual silence in the backseat. Both girls wrote to Santa that they hoped for COVID-19 to be over.... yet another moment my eyes welled up with sadness AND joy.Lastly, at the end of your tour, you'll be asked to stop for a photo in front of Mrs. Claus. The following day you should be able to access your digital short video of your vehicle... unless your family is all hanging out the windows, the downloadable photo will probably only best display your vehicle... not your joyous faces, but it was still a good memory. Cheers!

The Elf on the Shelf Magical Holiday Journey is back this year, where guests could walk and trolley through the experience and enjoy scenic worlds and performances. Additionally, there is a brand-new outdoor Christmas village and ice-skating rink. The timed-entry Magical Holiday Journey is approximately 45 minutes, including the walking session and trolley ride. It's very different from last year, there's more dazzling scenery, even more lights, outdoor ice-skating, holly jolly open-air trolleys, Christmas village, walking paths, holiday treats and gift shopping. The admission ticket prices vary for adults and kids on different dates, and the parking is required at the gate.

Ok so I see a lot of negative reviews and I have to say I do agree with some of the points made about the event but people have to remember.... we're in a global pandemic so that is surely going to affect everything. We arrived Sunday at 8:00 pm with tickets for 8:15. The whole app experience is amazing. The person checking us in made sure we connected blue tooth and gave us some pointers. I'm sure these poor workers were uncomfortable with the cold and wearing masks and shields and trying to explain it all through that. Yes, there were a lot of cars BUT again we're in a pandemic! In the normal days we would have have dozens of choices on things to do but not anymore so deal with it! The lights were reminiscent of the old Griffith Park light parade. The experience is mainly set along a story with live performers as elves and a lot of Christmas lights. My 8 year old had an amazing time! And yes it wasn't full of "holy cow" moments but it was nice and guess what!!!! We got out of the house! 4 stars because most other events we went to during Halloween did a price per car. 20-25 a person seemed a little steep. Overall I recommend it but go late or during the week!

It was a good experience for me and my kids, especially with limited entertainments option for them this Holiday. I purchased my tix about two months ago with a discount code. We chose Dec 22 and it was considered the peak time. The price (with the discount) were: adult $38, kid $35, vip add ons $54 (i think it was around that price).Upon entrance, they instructed me to open the web/ download the app, and the Elf's audio will start from there. Each stop had the chapter number that we supposed to click. They gave each kid goodie bags filled with one board to write their wishes on, one marker, one candy cane, one apple sauce. The VIP price got a bag with one book, candies, one Elf 2020 ornament. After the kids done writing their wishes, they would take it, and returned it at the end of the journey with the board already shrinked. All the staff and performers were following COVID19 guidelines. Everyone wore mask, and there were plenty of sign reminding us to keep our masks on.The performers would do some simple acrobatics, juggling, or dancing. The snacks were pricy. We paid $48 for 2 reindeers marshmallow, 2 sodas, 1 water, 1 hot chocolate, 1 popcorn, 1 peanut bag.Overall it was a nice first and last experience. Happy Holidays!
