El Viejon Mariscos & Sushi

It's so expensive for no reason! It's soooo mid! A plate of agua Chiles, 3 tacos gobernador two drinks for 75! Like what???

There is only ONE place to go for shrimp tacos in the IE and it's at El Viejon!!! order the Ensenada shrimp tacos and you will not be disappointed! Crispy on the outside light and soft huge prawns on inside with just the right amount of drizzled sauce on top . Two tacos are very filling! Came here on two different occasions and quality is consistent. Love the music and party vibe! This place looks like a nice place to celebrate a special occasion or chill with friends. The bar is nice and there are screens to watch a game... Cannot critique on the sushi or Auguachile but my friend who got the dishes loved them. I think the guacamole could have less salt and the drinks are excellent! The margarita flight is a flight and half! The service is attentive and the restaurant is right off the 10 fwy! Try it out!

When we walk in , the bar server pretend not see a us at all. After we were seated , we wait over 40min and only had some chips , so we have to leave without the food , because the take so long and I asked them they said we still need to wait.first time to come by accident and never return for sure.

I am a very honest person so I'm going to be honest. First off, the service was actually great. We had a kind server who did her job great! The environment was clean and updated, it's nice maybe to drink there. But the food? I was very disappointed. I enjoy raw shrimp that's not the issue but the shrimp was raw in just unseasoned juice. It had absolutely no flavor and was way overpriced for the quality of the food. I used to be an oncoming customer for their food truck cause I loved the sushi and mariscos but they stopped making it the way I liked it. It's been months since I went to their food truck so I decided to go try the restaurant expecting them to impress me once again. Sadly, it wasn't like that.

Karla was amazing! The vibes were immaculate. Customer service was 10/10 will definitely come back!

It was great and the owner was very gracious. The shrimp Zarandados was very close to the ones from Tepic Nayarit. We will be going back.

WHAT A GEM OF A PLACE. Came across this place while browsing Yelp on a young Friday night -- so glad we came. Food, ambiance, service was tip top. Karla was so awesome. Shout out Karla!!There's literally no other place that compares here in the IE. Both drinks. Amazing ceviche. Excellent service.

Service , food was great ! Brought my wife to experience the restaurant , I been here with my daughter, and it was great ! The second time , it took too long , during Super Bowl . There was no food brought out , for a long period of time . People were sitting there for a long time. I got 2 servings of chips and salsa, by the time the food came, I was not hungry , and wife was upset . Would not recommend , if you're in a hurry or hungry . Not returning at all .

I would give a 0 star if I could...Terrible service. Ordered over the phone, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Showed up on time, checked in, and waited... and waited. After 40 minutes, they came and asked what I had ordered, then disappeared for another 5 minutes. Came back offering different entrees and said it would take another 15 minutes. At that point, I just canceled and left. A "20-minute" order turned into an hour and 20 minutes of wasted time. Completely unorganized--would not recommend to anyone.

I had high expectations since I had the food truck once before and it was good however the restaurant experience disappointed . Beer was pretty flat oysters were just as bad and sushi felt like it was from staterbros unfortunately 1 bad experience leads to not coming back again.
