El Torito Meat Market and Tacos

So I been reading the other reviews here and I sort of understand. I been here about 5 times and I admit the first time wasn't the greatest. But it's because everyone wants to compare it to its first location in Mira Loma. That has fantastic reviews and rating. But with any new location they need to find their stride... and I feel they have!Burritos to me are the main thing here. I personally LOVE the Chicken Burrito with only Beans, Rice, Cheese, Chicken and Spur Cream. I can only explain these Burritos as CRAVE worthy where one random day, you'll be thinking about these bad boys and want one. I'd say their popular specialty Burrito is the Surf and Turf, I hear nothing but great things.I've been to plenty of Burrito spots especially places that are recommended or even showcased on social media. Those places are mainly stunt Burritos, made purposely humongous just to make people want to try them but they are mediocre. THIS however is CRAVE worthy, hands down best Burrito spot in town and I can proudly put money on that. This place needs better social media presence to bring in more people and it needs to be featured. Their Mira Loma location is LOVED by many and this is hardly different.Service wise, it's basic I guess. I don't expect much honestly. And the dining area itself is basic as well but it's definitely alot more room then the Mira Loma location. Same great taste in food though. If you happen to get food and it wasn't good, honestly I think it was either when it opened of when they're closing. You don't want the leftovers, you want fresh. So try it again at lunch time lol.What if anything do I not like and would change? I really don't like that we can't order online like Mira Loma. They are new so hopefully eventually that changes. I also hate that they charge extra for ATM/Credit. I'm not sure if Mira Loma does that. But the Burritos are legit top tier. I challenge it.

Outstanding meat market! The quality is fantastic- I love to be able to buy prime beef at a great price. The customer service was phenomenal! I was looking for a special cut of beef and the butcher came from behind the counter and looked up what I wanted and showed me perfectly cut steaks. The store was clean and products were fresh. I also purchased some produce as well. The grocery section is not as good as the Limonite location. Maybe they will eventually add more as the business grows. This location is closer to my home, I'm excited to have them open. Congratulations El Torito Meat Market!

I enjoy this place very much. Give it a shot! I get the Cali burrito every time I go. It's very authentic Mexican food with a good amount of flavor. I feel like everyone is very nice and welcoming. The market is basic but the quality of food is great.

Very different atmosphere from the previous restaurant that occupied this place. The first time we tried it under this name and owner. For starters, we weren't greeted by anyone, in fact we sat ourselves and after about 7 minutes, got up to get our own menus. 5 additional minutes past before a lady came out from the back. We ordered coffee and was promptly delivered. We sat there for about another 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. 3 families entered and lined at the counter and was immediately greeted. They browsed the meun and had their orders immediately taken. Still we sat there confused and still haven't ordered.This is completely opposite of how the previous owner operated, we missed the family friendly atmosphere.Decided to cut our frustration and leave. Paid for 3 coffees of which we were charged $10. Seemed expensive and not sure if we were overcharged out of spite.This visit was not a good one but we will try again.

Bad service, not greeted and the rice and beans you could tell were days old. Ladies are not friendly and took forever to take our order. Meat was so tough and super salty. No wonder the place is empty.

I just had the Torito Fries, and wow, they're amazing! The combo of cheese, meat, and all the other goodness on top makes every bite seriously delicious.It's a huge portion too, definitely coming back for more! The service was phenomenal and the food was made in an adequate amount of time. Overall, 10/10.

Honestly I'm disappointed because this place opened closer to me. The quality on the food is different as you will see with the pictures I will post. I ordered beef tongue and you can see it's not fresh and it tastes old. Definitely not going there anymore!!!

I really love the mira loma location and since they opened this one and closer to me I was excited to try it. Well it was not clean in the kitchen trash on the floor and I found worms in my burrito I didn't want to believe it. Don't come here not clean!

Great place to get tacos. The shrimp tacos and surf and turf burrito were delicious. The service was great and fast . Definitely coming back !

They truly have the BEST SHRIMP TACOS AND shrimp BURRITOS.. not to mention they have so many other plates and serving sizes are worth the price must check them out ...
