Walking into this place always feels like stepping into a long lost cousin's home. From the moment I walk in, Sol greets me with her infectious smile, (oh I oh they wouldn't have taken her cart away, bring back the cart) setting the tone for a welcoming experience. The new team member, Princess (Sofia) is a fantastic addition behind the bar attentive, without being overwhelming, striking the perfect balance. And I'm especially happy to see that Laura is still here. Her presence is a testament to the heart of this place she brings a sense of familiarity and care that keeps me coming back. Great team, great atmosphere always a delicious pleasure. El Torito life hack: Don't be overwhelmed by the buffet it's part of the fun! I like to get creative and make my own dishes. One of my favorites is a shrimp salad using the fresh lettuce and topping it with the best cilantro dressing. Another go-to is making my own birria tacos just ask the tortillera for some fresh hand made tortillas and grab the birria from the buffet line. Oh boy, it's delicious. The buffet is always well-stocked, so please be kind to the kitchen staff they work hard to keep everything fresh and ready for you!

Best Mexican Food I've had since e the last time I was here!I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito (chimichanga style). This was the perfect meal. The carne asada was juicy and flavorful. The onions, peppers and cheese really made this even better. This rice and beans were cooked perfectly try as well. I have to mention the sweet corn cake separately because it deserves its very own mention......Only at El Torito can you get this original, devious taste sensation! YUM!!The atmosphere here is really cool and modern. Love the big bull statue too. Very clean and well spaced.I have to give a special 'shout out'to our server Diana. She not only was friendly and fast, but also very knowledgeable of the cuisine history. Thanks Diana for the great service

My friend and I went to brunch at El Torito last Sunday.There was free parking in the area which is a plus these days.I had made reservations online which was great since we didn't have to wait in line and we were given the option to sit inside or outside.Even though it was cold outside, since they had heaters, we sat outside because inside was very loud and crowded..The service was great and the waiters kept checking on us but I know I won't be back for brunch because it wasn't worth the $37 + surcharge + tip (per person) for the champagne brunch.It might be good for somebody who is a heavy drinker and doesn't mind drinking cheap champagne but I only had two sips of my champagne, and the food is like cheap buffet food lacking flavor.

This place takes the cake!!! The buffet at this spot is FIRE! Everything they had was good! American and Mexican breakfast style food. The staff and cleaning crew are amazing. The food is always hot and ready, never empty. The restaurant has a nice zig-zag to it, has a nice flow. I will always come here for brunch when visiting Riverside. Great job! I'm full!

This place is always hit and miss. Food is usually pretty good. Drinks can fluctuate between orders. But the one thing you can count on is the service that Sol delivers!!!! This woman is a bundle of energy, always, always smiling!! Checks to make sure everything is ok. She deserves recognition....i sure hope she gets it. She keeps this place going!!
