Came here for lunch today and it was delicious! The staff was very quick and friendly. It's a small little restaurant so don't expect anything fancy. The food is authentic so it is worth the money!

First time here and we ordered a torta and burrito. The torta was ok but as you can see no lettuce it was plain. The burrito tasted plain, We also ordered an Horchata the flavor was plain. Husband was upset that he didnt get what he expected.

I'm only not giving them a 5 star because of the area.Although it's not in the best area, I a single woman can sit on their outside seating by myself for hours and have never had an issue. You will see your usual crack head here and there but that's all. I have been a regular for almost 10 years, I've been here weekends and weekdays. The customer service has always always been a good experience the owner knows exactly what I want and how I like it. The food is good and fresh. It's always clean, bathroom and tables and floors. I have tried all the tacos, mulitas, quesadillas, enchiladas and shrimp cocktails and of course their beer they have a few to choose from. I will continue my business here for as long as it stands

Rude owner. You walk in to the empty restaurant and he cant even greet you. You order and he doesnt look at you at all. Seems annoyed with questions.Ordered coffee and he gives you the hot water and EXPIRED Nescafe to make yourself. I ordered the 2 pupusa special with rice and beans for $5.99. The pupusas arrived and smelled a little off but I still dug in. Awful.The entire underside of my chicharron pupusa was burned but the inside was still raw and the chicharron filling looked so unappetizing. The curtido he provided was also brownish and not very good. So disappointed in this establishment and will never be back.

I love this spot. I'm Mexican American, my mom makes the most authentic food and this restaurant taste like home. Yes, the customer service might need some improvement but the food is worth every penny. The location isn't the best but it's worth a try! Btw the champurrado is delicious!!!

El Taco Loro is a small mom and pop restaurant. They have good homemade food. I see several reviews here complaining about the owner being rude when they tried to use a restaurant.com certificate for 50% off and the owner refused to honor it saying it wasn't for his restaurant. I was curious if there's another El Taco Loro, and there is an El Taco Loro Restaurant in Rialto. So it probably legitimately was not his coupon, but several people gave a one star rating due to that. It's unfortunate. I hope people give this place a try. Their food is really good- the chili rellenos, the shrimp diablo, shrimp ranchero, the pozole and caldo de res. The tacos too. And their flan is some of the best I have. Nice, clean little spot in San Bernardino.
