El Taco Bar

Food is good and the selection is great. We are newer to the area and this is one of our go to taco spots. Service is always excellent, we never have to wait long to put our order in. The food is made fresh right in the front of the shop. Some of our favorite tacos are the gobenador, the poblano, Al pastor/marinated pork, and the fish taco. Love that they are full tacos and we have been happy with every meal. I always order a side of chips and beans and grab salsa and peppers from the self serve bar. Salsa is always fresh and I like all 3 options. And to bring the meal altogether add a beer and good Mexican coke! We have eaten inside the restaurant and taken it to go, always satisfied.

A few things...1) I've been here a handful of times. This is my first time writing a review for them2) First visit, I got the gabornador taco. Amazing!3)Was bummed to learn the breakfast burrito here is only available during breakfast hours and you can't modify the burritos here or at least they wouldn't allow me to.4)Look at my loaded fries. Notice any problems? Well for me, whether nachos or loaded fries, I like my toppings to go around. There wasn't really enough toppings to go around with all these fries. In top of that, these fries were crispy/crunchy and plain-not the type you'd just enjoy by themselves without the topping. There's a lot of seating available and there's usually someone ready to take your order immediately-this trip was no different. This place is in a huge plaza with parking everywhere. Not my fav Mexican spot but one I check out when I'm in the plaza with time to kill but I don't go outta my way for it. I like to order a lot of food when I do order, or choose a place and since the loaded fries are a no-go here and I can't have a breakfast burrito whenever I want, that limits the amount of times I'd consider eating here.

I stopped at a nearby charging station and decide to look for breakfast while I was in the neighborhood. This place was local, open and close by so I gave it a shot. So glad I did. I opten for the build tour own breakfast burrito and got it with birria. Damn! So good. Never had breakfast birria before. The portions are VERY generous and the line guy takes his time to cook everything right. It's definitely going to be breakfast AND lunch because there's no way I'm eating the whole thing at once! The place is clean. The service is friendly. The AC is cold. The music is a bit loud for 8am but that's neither here nor there. And of course, the food is great.

This place was okay. It wasn't anything special.The restaurant really needs some type of ventilation. It's very small and the kitchen is basically in the dining area so it's really smoky so it makes it hard to enjoy your food.The service is okay but a little slow.

It stinks in the restaurant I gagged on my food and left !! The place is clean but something didn't smell good !!

3.5 star if I could give it that. The fish taco was really good and the queso birria taco was meh in my opinion, they use too much clove in the recipe so the back end taste all you get was clove taste. Not horrible but not the best although I will definitely go back to try more items and see what those taste like. The people I went with like their burrito and shredded beef taco. Service was ok nothing to rave about though. The restroom was a bit grimmy and can definitely use a good deep cleaning.

Tacos n mulitas are sooo good!! Staff is always so friendly. Always giving great service.

Thanks for the food poisoning on Saturday. I noticed the chicken was undercooked after my two year old had already unfortunately had some of the chicken in the bowl.

Would've gave 5 stars but they forgot to add the extra options I asked for. I paid 1.29 for the extra that was Not in my order! Other than that it's a nice restaurant. Food was really good and there menu is reasonably priced. Friendly staff and quick service.

The worst fish tacos ever! A tiny piece of fish in corn dog batter. I am serious! I threw them away.Also, the restaurant appeared dirty.
