First time. The food was good. Tacos were full of meat. I liked the Carnitas tacos the best. It was Halloween, and I liked that the cashier was festively dressed for the holiday. The bad part... I forgot to take a picture of the menu board while there. Between the restaurant website, yelp and other online reviews, nothing prepared me for how expensive the food was at this fast-food style restaurant. One taco was $4.75. Add to that the cost of a 2nd taco, drink, tip and tax, and the bill came to more than anticipated. Our friend offered to pay before we arrived and I think he was taken aback by the almost $60 bill for only 3 people ordering from a counter. That was the total for 2 burritos, 2 tacos & 3 drinks. Also, I had to request that they open the salsa bar. The cashier wanted me to tell him which salsa to put on my food but the metal lids were still shielding the containers. He picked them up, one by one, to show me each salsa separately. I had to ask if he could leave them open. There are plastic condiment cups for salsa, cilantro/onion, carrots & jalapeños, so why not leave the bar open. The cashier was friendly, but said not to rely on the website for pricing because it changes. Although we liked the food, and the portions were good, we probably won't go back.
