El Ranchito Taco Shop

This place is one of the best authentic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. We had the carne asada burrito and the cheese enchiladas that were both really good. Their red salsa is really good as well as their tortas. There is always plenty of parking as it is in a shopping center. Sometimes there is Mexican music playing.

Discovered this place on accident.Let's move into it.Every time I've been here it's been very busy. Which is a great sign. I've always been greeted immediately. Front staff has always been helpful.Let's move onto the food.Enchiladas. Your basic quick enchiladas.However. They're very tasty. And a large amount of food with the combo. You'll be satisfied with the food portions here for sure.Chicken flautas. OMG so good! Probably some of the best flautas I've ever had no joke. This is what I come back here for. And add some guac, you'll love it!Hard shell chicken tacos.Don't really see tacos like this often. They're very tasty. I usually put their pico de gallo on it for maximum taste. I'd say their chicken is the best here. Basically anything you order with their chicken is going to be legit.So why 4 stars instead of 5?There's two front staff. One girl has an attitude sometimes and the salsa bar is not totally cleaned all the time.Decor: average but clean.Staff/service: overall good. Food: average mostly. However portion sizes are big. And the food is very fresh. You'll enjoy it!Bathrooms: N/A never used them.Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed with the flautas and hard shell taco option here. Enjoy!

THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD SPOT EVERRR I haven't ate here since high school (I just graduated college) and the service nor the food has changed! (Which is a great thing) I got the 3 chicken taquito plate, rice & beans, w a fountain drink. It was topped with guacamole, lettuce, & cheese. The tastes of the tacos are like none I've ever tried before AND the rice and beans are perfection! They bring the food out right away, nice & hot! The workers greet you when you walk in & the inside of the restaurant is full of color & culture! Also the screens where you look at the menu are digital led it's so fun to look at!

Amazingly good food here. I loved the hard shell tacos here, they reminded me of Tito's tacos in Culver City. The rice and beans were so good! I mean normally I leave most of the sides but I finished everything. They have a several salsas and they are all good. Service is good too, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious bean and cheese burritos!! Their service is fast and efficient. Small eatery but great patio seats with umbrellas are out front. It's a great cozy taco shop with delicious food.

Service is good , food is not the great like before, ordered a carne asada burrito n the rice was mushy , meat needed to be crispier on the burrito. This is why I'm giving this spot a 3 star.

I went in this afternoon around 3:30 to order food. When I got home, I cannot believe it. The food was so delicious and tasted so good. I'm sorry I did not have time to take a picture because it was that great. Whoever was the chef behind the kitchen that gentleman he did an awesome job the young lady behind the counter as well was a pleasure. Although I thought the price was a little pricey, but when I got my food, it all leveled out thanks El Ranchito for a good experience and a new customer.

Food is always great!Younger staff need to make sure order is correct before finalizing order & when passing it out to go.

We have been coming here for years. Food is always good and portions haven't changed like many places now. Fast and friendly service. Salsa bar. A little bit of everything on their menu even kids meals are big. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. Yum yum yum love the hard shell tacos here.

I was in the area and in the mood for some hard shell tacos. I seen El Ranchito Taco Shop in the corner of the Stater Bros. Plaza. There were 2 young ladies working the counter and chatting it up. One of them decided to help me after they had seen me standing there. I ordered their taco special (2 tacos for $5.99). They were delicious and not greasy. There were a lot of options for salsa at the salsa bar. It's a small restaurant with approximately 10 tables inside and plenty of seating outside under the umbrellas. It's nicely painted inside. I will return to try more items on their menu.
