Delicious tostada salad bowls- my office frequents ordering take out from here for solely salad bowl orders. They make their food fast but drive thru lane almost always packed during lunch time on weekdays.Parts of the avocado in shrimp salad bowl was browning though, which was a disappointment.

I usually go to the el pollo on van buren and philben and it will be staying like that. The staff here were incredibly rude I had an online order, the lady asked me when I got to the window if it was an online order and I say yes as I'm trying to tell her the name she interrupted me for the name. After she took my name she walked away I had order two bowls of chicken soup and she shoved a bag of hot soup out of the window of the store and almost hit me with the bag of hot soup. I also got to my house to realize that the chicken tortilla soup had none of the toppings. To say the very least I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the customer service that was presented here. If you have the option I go for a different location you should.

I should know better, but I decided to try again, and again this Pollo Loco on La Sierra totally ruined my family's dinner. I bought the family mixed meal, the beans were very BURNT and HORRIBLE, and their rice was not fully cooked. I don't understand who is checking their quality control. The chicken was good, but come on, when you order the family meal, you're expecting everything to be good, especially because it's not cheap. Right under $50.00 for 16 family meal. SMH Just for the record, did respond to your request. I went online and shared my horrible experience .

Outside of having their catering maybe five years ago for an event I have never actually went to El Pollo Loco or tried their food.The reason I even gave them a try was because of a coupon I received in the mail from one of their limited time dishes, so nice job marketing team.This location is in a super busy parking plaza, so parking is at a premium, and tight just as an FYI.The restaurant itself was super clean and comforting. Even though I went during lunch hour I was able to sit and have my meal in peace. Bathrooms where also nice and clean and mostly upkept. Only issue was no paper towels or toilet covers.Now about the food what most people came to see from Foodie B. I ordered the double chicken avocado tostada bowl to give it a try and overall was content.I was not a fan of their beans and rice. Both where on the very flavorless side. There was also a good amount of salad in my bowl. I don't mind salad but I thought there may have been a bit more filling to it then that.In the bowl I got 3 to 4 sizeable chucks of avocado which tasted and looked fresh which was nice. The chicken was not bad, had some flavor but not a huge pop.The biggest standouts where the sauces that made the dish. There is an avocado sauce that was amazing, and a green salsa that was also really good. I myself needed a little something else because it was just missing something and got their hot red sauce. That really completed the dish for me and added the heat and flavor that I was missing.The bowl itself was mid. Thankfully it was fried well, not oily or over cooked, but not much flavor there either.I would give them a 2.5 overall for the food. Service was pretty good. The ladies where very nice to myself and all the guests that came in. No half stars on yelp so I'll give them a 2.

Wow, the young lady at the drive-through window was amazing! But the other ladies/managers, extremely rude! They jumped on her when she was just being kind/social while I looked for change for my bill. Apparently, the timer that they are on in the drive-thru is more important than kind & efficient customer service. Props to the young lady taking orders today 1/15 @11:20am:)

Double-check your food items before driving away to ensure your order is accurate. We ordered a BRC burrito without rice but received a burrito that was mostly rice, with no cheese and barely 8-10 beans (no exaggeration). Additionally, we ordered a meal with a side of beans but were given corn instead. If the restaurant ran out of beans, it's better to be upfront with customers. Most people would appreciate the honesty and understand, avoiding unnecessary frustration and disappointment.

Customer is decent. I just left the location and ordered a double chicken salad every location I've been to the salad comes with creamy cilantro and I pay extra or receive and extra free depending on location. So here it was and extra fee. But on my receipt they charged me for 2 why?????? This location doesn't include the one with a salad?? And where is my double chicken??? They ripped me off Twice!!

Third time we drove thru; our order is always short between on to 3 pieces. Their employees always short us of the chicken and or tortillas, likewise salsas. Their doors are most of the time close/locked. Very rare/seldom we see people eating inside. Almost every neighborhood says the same. Why is management allowing these things to keep happening. Not to mention that the drive-thru line is slow and long. Management, you need to do something about this store. First, hire employees that wants to work and work efficiently. Secondly, someone has to stay on top of this store. Other stores except this and Van Buren are okay. Van Buren store also sucks. Very poor systems.
