El Pollo Kri-ollo

I came here years ago, but I didnt think I got their best effort, so I was in the area and wanted to get another shot. I walked in and walked up to the cash register where there were three women sitting/standing. The one at the cash register was on the phone. I dont expect her to drop her call and take care of me, but she completely ignored me standing their, turned her back to me, and then went back into the kitchen behind some saloon doors. There was another of the three women that had been sitting down; i attempted to make eye contact with her...again, not expecting her to drop what she was doing (which was nothing) but just to reassure me they would help me out. Once she noticed i was attempting to connect with her, she too, walked into the kitchen. That was all i need to see. To hell with this place, Never trying it again, I'll eat mcdonalds or the pancake house down the street.

I've had problems 3x w/ this restaurant this past week trying to order from here. I placed an order 2 hours in advance w/ food delivery and they just canceled it at 530pm when the courier was outside waiting and they close at 6pm. Don't accept the order if you don't want to fulfill it. It's messed up for the customers that are expecting food then they have to cook all of a sudden. When they actually made my order the 3rd time I asked for some extra green sauce for 2 lomo saltados and they gave me 0. What kind of service is this that they provide if they want return customers? I dislike lazy workers. Don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

Amazing Peruvian food. Everything was so fresh and tasty -- very filling. Fast and friendly service.

This is an awesome Peruvian place for Corona. I worked in (my opinion) THE BEST Peruvian restaurant in SoCal called El Pollo Inka (4 locations in LA County; Hermosa Beach is my favorite). This is what I rate the dishes i had here: Lomo Saltado 3.8/5, 1/2 chicken with rice and salad 3/5, Ceviche de Pescado 5/5, and sauces (ají and what looked like huancaina 2/5. The lomo was flavorful with decent meat and the rice for all dishes was great! The chicken I had was very dry and seasoning just not my favorite. The salad had no dressing and was old lettuce so I didn't even bother trying it. Ceviche was by far my favorite and I'd come back for that. It's a mom and pop place so don't expect a fancy, romantic restaurant. They have really good dessert options and I'm curious to try their soup as well so I'll definitely be back for more!

Literally the only Peruvian restaurant that populated near Riverside. I'm a huge fan of Peruvian food, Mario's place on Melrose is the GOAT. Not gonna lie this spot did it for me, the food was solid, the green sauce wasn't on point or spicy. The ceviche was wonderful, as well as the portion sizes. I will be back to try other dishes.

Was craving some lomo saltado, so I decided to stop by this place. It was delicious ! On my top 5 for sure ! Portion was a good size, staff was friendly, and the place was nice and cool . if you're craving Peruvian, I'd recommend stopping by!

Soy mexicana, pero esta comida es tan deliciosa su ceviche es muy rico se los recomiendo. Las meseras son muy amables y dan buen servicio.

Oh my goodness. This place is a GEM! I'm Peruvian and I know how dishes should taste and let me tell you.... After trading several Peruvian places in the area.. this is THE place. I am coming back and back and back... tastes like home I ordered online and went to pick up, we ordered ceviche mixto, arroz con mariscos, papa a la huancaina, ají de gallina and a big bottle of lucuma ice cream along some delicious sweets! we are all enchanted. Definitely a happy customer!

I drove thirty minutes to try this restaurant. Very satisfied that I did. Nice variety of Peruvian dishes and flavor was good/authentic. I ordered dinner and enough food for the family for the next day. Everyone was happy.

This place is great. Very authentic and everything I've tried has been amazing. Can't go wrong with the lomo saltado or ceviche if you're a fan. The ladies who work here have great customer service. Don't sleep on this spot!
