This place has great fruits and vegetables. I go there mainly for their Chicharron. Sometimes I feel lucky enough to leave alive with my piel de cerdo auténtica being a gringo that I am. I will be back and I do recommend this place.

Best menudo in the area. My Sunday meal almost every Sunday and the chicharrón is the bomb burrito or tacos you can go wrong. Service is always great

We had our daughter's Graduation/birthday party catered by Tacos El Pochito. Joe was great to work with. He was personable , gave great recommendations, and answered all of my questions. The guest and I loved the food as well ( tacos, agua fresca, beans, rice, and fruit). I will definitely hire them again for future events.

Food was ok, VERY EXPENSIVE FOR BASIC FOOD we paid $70 for 4 entrees (egg WITH ham (mainly all ham) chilaquiles came without egg, huevos rancheros, and menudo) they forgot to add egg in chilaquiles, NO condiments AT ALL for menudo or entrees. THERE WAS NO LINE when we arrived it was NOT BUSY. They took a very long time to get our order ready. Just to get home and be disappointed that we paid good amount and didn't even get to enjoy the food. When I called lady she used the excuse that they were busy, but there was no one there when we arrived. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

Went to store and the front door seemed locked and the cashier said that i needed to pull harder. It seems like it is not up to building code for fire escape. So i proceeded to the kitchen and asked if they had pork tamales cook seemed lost and she couldn't answer my question. So i just turned around and walked out. Very disappointed. I wont be returning in the future. Customer service has not been the same since store changed the name to El Pochito. It was better when old owners of Los Portales was in charge.
