A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine at Ojo De Agua! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ojo De Agua, a charming little Mexican eatery in Hemet, CA, that truly deserves a spotlight. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the warm smiles of the inviting staff, who immediately made me feel like part of the family. Their enthusiasm for sharing their passion for food is infectious! The menu is a delightful treasure trove of dishes, each more enticing than the last. I opted for their tacos, and let me tell you, they are nothing short of spectacular. Made with real, authentic homemade tortillas, each taco is a testament to the culinary craftsmanship that goes into every meal. The tortillas are soft, fresh, and bursting with flavor, creating the perfect vessel for the delicious fillings.I sampled a variety of tacos, and each one was a unique experience. Whether it was the succulent carne asada or the flavorful grilled chicken, every bite was a celebration of authentic Mexican flavors. The toppings were fresh and vibrant, adding just the right amount of zest to each taco. What truly sets Ojo De Agua apart is not just the amazing food, but the overall experience. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest leaves happy. They are eager to recommend their favorites and always make sure you feel welcome. If you're in the mood for incredible Mexican food and a warm atmosphere, look no further than Ojo De Agua. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine made with love. I can't wait to return and explore more of their amazing dish selection!

Walked in to an empty restaurant put me off. The gentleman was very welcoming & very nice so I stayed. Glad I still gave them a chance because the food was very good. I ordered two quesabirrias with consome & tacos de asada & al pastor. Super big btw! The consome & quesabirrias were delicious! Very flavorful! My whole family was sharing it. 10/10The asada tacos were great too. I really love the grilled onions. Salsa was very tasty & a surprise kick but in a good way. I prefer lime though not lemons. 9/10The one thing I was not too pleased about with was the al pastor 6/10The restaurant does need some music for ambience & a good organization but the food is definitely tasty! We will be going back :)

GREAT HANDMADE TORTILLAS! El Ojo De Agua is known for their fresh tortilla making ingredients and authentic flavors. I ordered a carne asada mulita and witnessed the action firsthand. The gentleman who made it pressed it and added everything straight from the grill! My mulita was VERY flavorful. However, the prices here are through the roof! It cost me $21 dollars for one mulita and a cup of cucumber water. I was a little annoyed as other options down the street have great authentic Mexican food and for a reasonable price. I get that it costs to purchase fresh ingredients, however other places don't overcharge like here. The restaurant was also blazin' hot, there's no AC. It was killer on a hot day. Don't recommend coming during the summer. The gentleman who made my tortillas and mulita was super nice and I would definitely give him five stars if I was rating solely on his customer service! I'll come back but not that often...

Very tasty authentic Mexican food. The staff is very polite and leaves behind the counter to come check on you for any additional needs. I have it one less star because the location has fans no air conditioning it could use some updating. But I would definitely return when I am in the area.

I bought some menudo and it reminded me of the canned menudo "juanitas". The pieces of tripe are super small. They do not offer condiments on the side. A large menudo is $18 and it comes 3 handmade tortillas (the tortillas were the best part). Service isn't great either, the man taking the orders was not friendly at all. As I asked questions, he gave me an attitude and made me feel uncomfortable.

I have been here several times and the food has the same consistency. The customer service is great! I love their green salsa and beef tacos. They have handmade thick corn tortillas! Today we ordered a Carne Asada Chimichanga and two beef tacos. The gentleman accidentally made a beef chimichanga. We drove to take it back for the right order. They replaced it with the correct order and then a shocking thing happened. He let us keep the wrong order. No one ever does that anymore. He brought the order out to the car and apologized to my husband. That is spectacular customer service!!! I am a loyal customer and will be back again. Thank you for the good food and customer service!

I've come to this restaurant for years now but honestly won't be coming again after what I ordered today my total was $83 for 2 menudos 1 carne asada taco and 1 lb of chicharrones. The menudo came with more granos than meat to top it off the meat was cut way to small, the chicharrones were like if they have been there for more than 2 days.

This was the cost for food that was terrible. We weren't able to eat it the barbacoa was a day old and lacked flavor. The menudo had a terrible aftertaste and the broth was terrible. Smelled and tasted like bleach. Even after we threw the food away my kitchen had the foul smell of the food. What we got was barbacoaMenudoPambazosCarne asada burritoCarne asada gorditaSave your self and really don't spend your money. Maybe a few years ago the food was good but as of today 08/12/2023 it's not worth coming. Sad for a small Buiness but maybe they can put in more effort and it would get better.
