El Enchilado Bar & Grill

This establishment only opened recently, so I may have tried them on a day when they were still working out the kinks. The atmosphere is very nice. It's in an older part of Ontario and it's nice to see new restaurants opening to boost up and rekindle this area. My wife and I had breakfast and our son had tacos. The food was good, but a little pricey. The menu selection was ok. The service was great and she even asked us for our feedback. Anyway... Enchilado seems to be trying to find an identity... this seems more like a cool tequila bar not a place that serves breakfast. But what in the hell do I know??? If you're in the area give it a try!!!

This utensil has been used by pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican cultures, including the Aztec and Maya, for thousands of years. I can't believe it is here at "El enchilado Bar & Grill" carne asada,chorizo,chicken,panela,nopalitos,grilled cebollitas all served in this pre-hispanic lava hot rock (molcajete).. un platillo con historia,cultura amor y muchisimo sabor.. by far the best I've tried.. the salsita is the perfect touch to it all! Not too spicy,yet with plenty of flavor.. FYI: Karaoke is always fun Wednesdays, live music Friday,Saturday and ROCK EN ESPAÑOL Sundays!

Came for a quick breakfast the other day and had some huevos rancheros! 10/10. The flavor was just sooo good. the service was great! My food came out fairly quick. Everything was clean. The decor was different nothing like you've seen before. I will definitely come back with friends and family!!

This restaurant was very disappointing. Our party of 3 were the only people in the whole place. we were seated in the back & given only breakfast menus despite it being 2pm. I wanted a Cadillac margarita but was told "Cadillac" didn't mean a shot of grand mariner, it just meant they used well tequila. hmm... ok. The drink was weak and came with tajin around the rim instead of salt. it wouldve been nice to know ahead of time so I could've ordered it without. I ordered a two item combo. my hard shell chicken taco had sour cream in it, came in a prefab shell and had only one small bite of chicken in it. my chili relleno was drowning in an awful green sauce (the one pictured on the menu had traditional red sauce) it was so bad I took one small bite and almost spit it out. the salsa and the sauce on my friends shrimp tacos was too spicy to eat. it was also very expensive. $70 for 2 lunches and two drinks. dont eat here.

AMAZING!The service was amazing, the staff was so helpful, sat us down quickly and checked up on us often. The food was really good I got the burrito w/ carnitas and salsa verde

The food was spectacular, the best Mexican food I have had in a while. The service was excellent but to be fair we were the only ones in the establishment.

We had the shrimp tacos and langostinos, both plates were a 10/10. The langostinos were full of flavor!! We are definitely going to be back soon! Thanks to the manager Kamal for going above and beyond ! Also the restaurant venue is very nice love the how they have two bars !

I decided to start with their famous 'Enchilado Especial' - a decision I'll never regret. The dish was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, with the meat so tender and sauce so rich, it felt like a warm hug.But it wasn't just the food that won me over; it was the whole experience. The walls adorned with colorful art gave the place a lively yet homely feel. I struck up a conversation with one of the staff, and their passion for their cuisine and culture was infectious. They even shared a story about how the recipe for their tacos al pastor was passed down through generations.Speaking of tacos, you've got to try them. Each taco was a little parcel of joy, and the homemade tortillas were nothing short of perfection. I could genuinely taste the care and tradition baked into each one.Now, let's talk about the bar. I'm a bit of a margarita enthusiast, and their 'Margarita Enchilada' was a game-changer - a perfect balance of tangy and sweet with a kick that kept me coming back for more.I ended my evening at El Enchilado feeling full, not just in my stomach, but in my heart too. It's rare to find a place that feeds your soul as well as your appetite. El Enchilado Bar and Grill does just that. It's not just a restaurant; it's a little slice of culinary heaven right in our neighborhood. I'm already planning my next visit, and I can't wait to bring my friends along.

This place has good food and it's obvious that they are building up their name by having a lot of entertainment. During one of our experiences my husband and I ordered menudo and I guess they only had enough for 1 full plate so they ended up giving us a half looking plate with no meat and mostly caldo. Not sure if this is done because they are new and inexperienced or if they were trying to fool us. Hopefully next time they are transparent with the customers and say they have run out rather than have the customer reject the plate and have to wait more time for another plate to come out. Other than that the food was very flavorful and the waitress was very friendly. We will be returning.

The food is authentic and delicious. Hand made tortillas. The sauces for their dishes are freshly made when you place your order. Highly recommend this El Enchilado.
