El Chivito Birrieria

The food was terrific, flavorful and nicely priced. The service was great and the ambiance was very clean, fast and family oriented.I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends

Over priced for my order. I asked if they had a simple breakfast borrito of bean cheese and egg. She said we can make you one. Then tried to charge me 12$ per borrito. She looked at me and said is that ok? Like what the heck. Haha. What do you think? I said no. I was gonna leave and she said hang on let me try this. Then came up with 7$ each somehow like it was better. I baught them cause I didn't have the time to go anywhere else. I walked out with my burritos that weighed literally as much as one should. I had a pic of the burritos next to dollar bill and they were pretty much the same size as the bill. Pathetic for 7$. As for the taste they weren't bad. Hard to mess up an egg cheese and bean borrito. Lol. The place mustn't be that bad tho cause a lot of people were in there eating. Not sure if I'll come back but I hope they fix their prices when requesting such a simple borrito.

The food, the service is great, served with a great tasting flavor. The place is clean and organized.

Let's start this review with one word......Goat! Yes goat. Any Mexican worth his salt knows that real birria is made from goat meat. I realize to some of my Caucasian friends the thought of eating a goat might not be appealing considering your brother in Arkansas has pet goats on his farm but they are as delicious as they are cute. As usual my wife has heard of this place and suggested we go there for breakfast. The place is charming and clean and thank god no loud banda music. I suggest you start out with some "cafe de oya" coffee made with cinnamon and molasses. A great taste combination.I ordered the chilaquiles with birria on the side. What a treat. A destroyed that plate and let me tell you it was a lot of food but I just couldn't stop. My wife had the straight out birria mixta plate apparently this is how they make it at her rancho back in the old country. By the way all this deliciousness comes with hand made tortillas.This place impressed us so much we went back a couple of days later.Get over your fear of different meats and go get some goat. Birria that is. This place may be the best birria place in all of the IE. The Greatest Of All Time? Let's wait and see.

Quaint and clean restaurant. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Order and dine-in or takeout. Upon walking in it smells delicious.

Service was good. Had a small crowd in the early morning, nothing too serious. The caldo was a little bland and just needed more salt, IMO. Salt and the salsa did the trick. I also had an agua de pepino that was delicious. Over all good experience!

If I could give this hidden gem a 10 I would. Driving by to go get cattle feed and saw this place. Looked it up on Yelp. Ok I love goat so I'll give it a try. We walked in so clean. No one spoke English except one nice lady who took us under her wing. Menu is in all Spanish with some pictures. I can point. I'll have Tacos Dorado so will my husband. AMAZING!! Homemade tortillas YUMM. Scorching hot sauce ok. Consume to pour on or drink made from juice that the goat was cooked in mmmmyum. Saw flan on a menu by the register. Got two to go. THE BEST FLAN I HAVE EVER HAD. My new favorite place but is 1 1/2 hours from home.

It's good food but the actual portion size of their birria plates is not the same as what's shown on the Yelp page It's a bigger serving on the yelp page pictures But the food is good oooh and pay attention on what u order they tend to short u I was shorted 8 handmade tortillas

Truly some of the best food i've ever had. Can't wait to go back. The people are nice and super quick with the service.
