My family enjoy coming to this location. The service never disappoints and the food! This is one of our favorite Mexican food locations to visit.Been coming here for years and the food quality remains the same. It's been hard finding good places to eat, since Covid we have noticed a lot locations food quality was not the same. I was contemplating on giving a 4 Star today because my husband wanted garlic shrimp with his dish and we were told they didn't have the garlic for the shrimp. It was pretty disappointing knowing it was 2/14, which you expect to be busy therefore be fully stocked. We visited around 11am, I believe restaurant opens at 9am.I ended up giving the 5 stars because the service was great and the food was still amazing!

I absolutely love this Mexican spot! The food is always phenomenal, and I've never had a bad meal here. My favorite has to be the tableside guacamole--it's fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like it. My go-to dishes are the carne asada and the chilaquiles, both of which are packed with flavor and always cooked to perfection.I came here one Sunday with my foodie boo, and they had what looked like a Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas. I'm definitely planning to come back and check that out! The vibe is fantastic, the service is great, and the food is consistently top-notch.10/10 recommend this spot to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food!

First time here. It did not disappoint! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this place will not disappoint. From the outside, location looks small but once inside they annexed the building next door and created more space. Staff was friendly and the food came out quick. We were given chips and salsa. Salsa was mild but delicious, I couldn't stop eating. For the main entree I ordered the Chilaquiles with the Red sauce and Carnitas. The red sauce was savory with a hint of sweetness that packed a lot of flavor. The carnitas were well portioned and cooked perfectly. The best part of the dish was that the chips were NOT soggy. Which is a must when you make chilaquiles. I had to try their flour tortillas which come (2) to an order. They were warm and tasted as traditional flour tortillas should. Breakfast here was a success. I will definitely be coming back.

Honestly, I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Food was not good, the service was worse. It was nice inside but would not recommend this place. We waited atleast 40 minutes to order our food and that was with us calling the server.

A buddy and I decided to eat breakfast about 1030 am on a Saturday. We brought along his son who was home for the weekend. I ordered the Chilaquelas with eggs beans and potatoes. My buddy had the huevos divorciados and his son knew to get the El Cerrito special burrito which has a Chili relleano stuffed inside as a cheesy yummy surprise.Beautifully decorated inside and very clean. The bar looks like a sports fan's heaven, (please Uber) and the staff are both friendly and attentive. The Chilaquelas plate was a mixed review. I had Chili Verde so it was green sauce which seemed to make the chips soggy and mushy. The chili verde was tender and tasty. All I have to say about the frijoles is MORE!. My buddy loved the Huevos Divorciados and I was shocked his son was able to eat that huuuge El Cerrito Special Burrito! He loved it.Honestly the price for three big men was not horrible in the current situation and the waitress was very nice to us while checking often.Yummy in my tummy!

The tamales were hard as a rock. I believe that they had been frozen for a long period till they had dried out. Nasty. So, the expensive meal was not worth the price. I'd rather go to Puffy Taco for their unbelievable tacos. (Their burritos don't have enough cheese, though.) The rest of the meal was meh.

This place came up on Instagram and decided to try it. Drove up from Murrieta to give it a try and have to say it was well worth the drive! Came up to have brunch short wait 30 minutes but well worth it. Everything was delicious and authentic. Well worth the price of $35. Will be back to try some other delicious looking dishes.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants in RC. They really take care of you here and the food is great. The enchiladas are very authentic and the steak fajitas are awesome and the homemade flour tortillas are great. Come for dinner and have a michelada too!

I finally tried El Cerrito after literal YEARS of meaning to stop by. At the last minute (the best things seem to happen spontaneously) I decided to eat here with a friend. And wow, it did not disappoint! We shared the carne asada fries and camarones a la plancha. I got a Cadillac margarita and we shared churros and ice cream for dessert. I wasn't extremely hungry, but I finished everything! The flavors were amazing, food was fresh, and the service was top notch. I'm kicking myself for not going here sooner but also happy I finally made it happen. Every bite was delicious!
