First off let me begin by thanking Summer Gozzo for being the most amazing wedding coordinator! Celebrated my wedding here on 11-05-22 and received so many compliments on the venue and the work that she did to put it all together! When we experienced obstacles Summer was there to handle it all so we could focus on our moment and not stress. We were also very surprised by the amount of hours this venue allows for the price, we were able to arrive at 9am and keep the party going until 10pm, whereas other venues only give you a fraction of the time. I would greatly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stunning venue with a spectacular coordinator!

Came here for a field trip the other day and seems like a cool little museum. They only showed us the illusion room (which felt very rushed from the "guide") a lady playing a piano and then quizzing the kids about it. Then inside a banquet room for the kids to color then outside for corn hole for 10 mins and that was it. So the trip itself wasn't really anything special. But I would like to come back to see the art on the walls. I think they could have gave the kids a chance to view the art if they wanted or play corn hole and that would have made it better. Believe it or not some kids do enjoy looking at a good painting.I think the garden area would make for a beautiful wedding.

I Had my wedding at Edward Dean museum a little over a month ago on 10.1.2017 it was the Absolute best experience right from strart the Venue Staff is so accommodating and great to work with any time i had any questions or concerns i could call them or email them and get a response right away Stacy the Venue manger is awesome she went over everything with me that was included down to the final weeks before confirming all of my layout and setup :) i toured the property months before the big day on numerous occasions with my other vendors(They allow you bring to your own vendors in ) which i loved because i wanted to be able to Create my Wedding vision from the ground up whether it be food, flowers, etc.. The Grounds of the property are beautiful it truly is a hidden gem and i am so happy i found it there are several areas where you can have your ceremony and reception which was another huge plus for me since my husband and i wanted the guest to see all the venue and have a great experience not to mention they have a lovely Bridal suite and Grooms room that you get all day long for you to get ready in which was very accommodating and stress free because having to get ready somewhere elise was not an option for me if you are looking for a venue i highly recommend looking at Edward Dean Museum thank you again to all the staff My wedding Was everything i envisioned

This was a small museum and garden. Based on the website I expected a bit more. Friendly staff but it was very obvious that my children made them nervous. She gave them a very polite lecture about not sitting on the furniture or touching anything. I wanted to tell her that they have heard that same lecture a zillion times and this is probably their 150th museum in their lifetime and they know the drill, but I was polite and restrained myself. Ok back to the museum itself. Inexpensive, $3 for adults, Seniors and Students are $2, Kids 12 and under are free. So $3 for the three of us was a good sign right away. Their was one exhibit from a local painter and then two floors which were a replica of homes from the 1800's. Very interesting collection of pieces from around the world. A docent quickly joined are party, probably to make sure my kids were good. I enjoyed her background on the pieces. But I know my kids would have had a better time if we had been free to roam by ourselves. I know when to change the conversation and how to get them interested, she went a little more then they wanted to hear and spoke more to me then to the kids, which is never what I want. The gardens were lacking but they were clearly working on many of the areas and I am sure in the spring it is a very beautiful setting. We spent less then 90 mins at the museum which was plenty of time to see everything. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this place, but if you are within a 30 min drive then it is worth checking out. Maybe take a grandma, they would love a place like this.

I had my wedding here in October of 2019! It was a dream come true and absolutely amazing. I would have given 4 stars opposed to 5 if it wasn't for Stacey. She did an above and beyond job for us and fixed any and all mistakes that happened. Thank you!

What a lovely museum in the midst of exurban Riverside County's Cherry Valley! Lived and worked here for nine years and am sorry to have never visited prior to yesterday's opening of Cabinets of Curiosity (admission, normally $5.00 per person, is free during the exhibition opening!).The Edward-Dean is named after the first names of the same-sex couple who founded the museum. Helpful docents explained that the two gentlemen passed themselves off as brothers during the inhospitable-to-gays '40s to '60s. They were collectors with an antiques shop in Beverly Hills that catered to such Hollywood elite as Sinatra, Hope, etc. Previously, they purchased an amazing set of wood paneling for William Randolph Hearst that the later gave to his mistress, Marion Davies. On her death, Hearst purchased the paneling and, in turn, gave it to the museum founders!Of interest are the priceless, exquisite Chinese ancestral paintings, religious artifacts from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Be sure to visit the original basement with its paintings, furniture, and sculptures. The docents encourage childrens' 'questions.Visit the quaint museum shop where I found three fabulous Chinese vases, one of which was reported hand carried out of China, the koi pond, and enjoy the artful gems!

This is a little gem in Riverside. The art collection is nicely curated and brought to life by curator Jessica, who juggled especially interesting pieces, clearly cares enough to learn about the history of the collection, and helped amplify our appreciation and experience.

I had no idea this museum existed in Cherry Valley! I thought it was just the war-time collection of the main floor. To my amazement, there is a downstairs area and other rooms with 16 & 19th century art!! The gardens were spacious and beautifully manicured.MUST visit!!!

We stopped by looking for something to do. We were asked if we would like a tour and we said yes. 2 young ladies walked us through room to room giving us information on pretty much every thing in each room. They were happy to answer questions. It was one of the most detailed tours we have had in a while and we did not feel rushed at all. The artifacts in the museum varied vastly and were really interesting. The girls were great!
