Early Bird Cafe

Haven't been to this place for awhile. Didn't know they changed ownership. Menu is from J&M Restaurant. I ordered the two egg breakfast with home potatoes and sour dough toast. Eggs were cooked just right to my taste; the potatoes had onions and some bell peppers-yummy and the toast was nice and crunchy. The portions were large, so we took 1/2 of meal home. We both had 2 full cups of coffee. The specials board was outside the main eating area. Their specials are pricey. The area was clean and warm for the cold weather outside.Our first waitress didn't offer any coffee creamers; I went to another table to get them.

First time here and was not disappointed. Our coffee was never empty. Our waitress Patricia was friendly and courteous.Nice to find a local spot with Generous portions friendly atmosphere.

Went to a women's breakfast here on Saturday morning. It gave me an Alice vibe. Old school local "hole in the wall" respectfully. You know, the place all the locals come to but it's not real trendy? I've never been here or to the breakfast before. I am not sure what the owner was thinking having only two waitresses or not many cooks in the kitchen. We ordered about 9am and our food didn't come until after 10:45am. I was not upset, but I wasn't happy either. Valerie was our waitress. She was very nice and kept my coffee cup full at all times. Turns out our ticket got lost. I even had to go to the cashier to pay for something I never got charged for. I never got to eat any of my sandwich because it was time to go already. I did eat it when I got home and it was good... not $15.00 good though. The star of the show for me was that carrot soup. I enjoy trying new things and that was absolutely delicious. Apparently I am coming back monthly because the women's group meets here once a month. I pray that I can give it a 5 next time.

We eat here two or three times a week but now that they have new owners, J&M cafe, we won't be back We quit eating at J&M because the food was served cold and miss cooked. Eggs served not as ordered etc We went to the Early Bird and the same low standards were served Sorry, we really liked the staff and chef of the early bird before the changes We won't be back

We had breakfast here at the cafe. Parking was easy. We were seated promptly upon entering. The have daily specials listed on the boards inside and one on the table. I ordered the French Toast special with eggs n bacon. My other party ordered the Spanish omelet which was a huge portion. Staff was attentive and my coffee cup was never empty.Breakfast Special

Love this resturant!! I have had many breakfast items and all were great. Yes they can be busy at times, so just be calm and patient and enjoy your coffee. I have seen some low reviews because some people feel that they are very special and should be waited on like their moms use to; get a life !. If you want to get it fast, then go to jack in the box. Nice staff, great food, reasonable prices.

Nice local Spot, quality portions, friendly service, and comfortable clean environment. Highly recommend.

I got hooked on the chicken fried steak and eggs cottage fries and biscuits and gravy!

Early Bird is under new ownership, the owner is so friendly. Go and check them out, they have great food and service. I go there often for breakfast and love it.

Food is always great, all the servers are especially kind. Great place for a family meal, and the kids loved the attention from the staff, is becoming a regular weekend breakfast choice for my family
