Getting there:So just fair warning, getting to Lake Perris in general is a mission because it's one way in and one way out. Leaving the festival on Saturday took us at least an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. Also, you have no cell reception once you're inside the camping area so plan accordingly.Experience:This was a really unique and cool festival. It's what I imagine Coachella used to be back in the day. It's right on the lake; you can actually bring floaties inside to get in the water. We didn't though because it was quite chilly that day. To be honest, I really went to see Tame Impala and he did not disappoint. He performed 'Lonerism' in its entirety and it was one of the best performances I've seen. The main stage is kinda tucked into the back corner of the festival, but oddly enough you can still have a clear view from in the back. We didn't even attempt to go up to the front because it seemed impossible to make it up there.I really liked that this festival had a little farmers market type area with fun unique vendors of all types. I would recommend this festival for anyone that is into Indie (house) vibes.

This would have been a wonderful event. Had everybody been more organized on what they are doing with parking. I paid for parking for an RV but was told at the RV spots were filled. So does that mean that you guys overbooked your venue? It took me 2 hours just to just to get things straight away straight and missed One of the artists I wanted to see. Because I stayed positive I was still able to enjoy the great acts beautiful art and wonderful people.

I was really hoping for this to be better organized. It was difficult withstanding the awful amount of dust. You created a dust storm just by walking. People were selling bandanas for $20, then later crossed out for $10. There were good bands on several stages and we would have liked to have stayed longer but we waited in the wind as one of the performers on the main stage was experiencing technical difficulties due to the wind and dust. I particularly loved the paper water cartons. I also enjoyed the art installations and the variety of vendors. Upon driving onto the grounds we were in 2 long lines being checked for glass bottles. People were pouring their alcohol into plastic containers. We only stayed a few hours as eating dust is not that enjoyable or healthy. When we got to the car a gust of wind picked up a shade tent that landed next to our car. I would hope that next year has wood chips and watering trucks and a more organized way of checking for glass containers.
