I had my grandpa's 85th birthday catered from Del Mar and it was delicious. Everyone was very impressed with the food! We ordered the largest catering option plus some sides and it was more than enough. On top of the great food, the service was amazing. Jessica was very communicative and made me feel at ease that everything was going to be delivered on time. They delivered and set up d everything with hot plates which was super helpful. 10/10! Thank you Del Mar Grill for making this birthday amazing!

Good food, good service, good prices!Ordered the Carnitas plate with rice and beans and a margarita.The wife claims it is the best Carnitas she ever ate. I would give it a 9 out of 10. The margaritas were large and delicious!Even the free chips and salsa were delicious. Our Server was friendly and attentive.Don't let the location fool you. Very nice and clean inside.

My husband and my mom brought me for my birthday.. The food was amazing.. Great staff specially Jessica she was our server and she goes out of her way to make us feel very comfortable. We will definitely recommend this plazeveryone and will be back again for sure..

Food was excellent, fantastic service. Giant tacos(2 for $7) Pint size beer $5, every Tuesday.

Del Mar Grill is a great place that's really improved over the years the years. The decor gives off a great festive vibe. The food is on point and I can recommend their seafood as well. The shrimp diabla is proper spicy! You won't leave hungry! Here is some photos to prove my point...

For this Friday date I was expecting a little hole in the wall but was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant's decor. I literally couldn't stop visually exploring this place. I liked the dia de los muertos art throughout. With both a brunch and happy hour menu, this place was promising. We tried the surf and turf nachos, but the turf was very chewy. I didn't care for the chipotle crema but my husband enjoyed this. The biggest disappointment was that taco salad. I've never had such flavorless ground beef in my life. Yes, I know it's not authentic Mexican food, but don't put bad tasting food on the menu. Any seasoning would have been appreciated, even one of those Old El Paso seasoning packets. Service was a bit slow, but she was the only one working plus had to bartend. She did what she could. We may return, but hard to say when there's so much competition with Mexican food.

So I've been here over a dozen times. The food is always hot and flavorful. I've also been to their Sunday brunch, which was nice because I was able to try a little bit of everything that they offer on their menu, take it. It was limited to breakfast and some lunch, but nevertheless, it was all very delicious. The pork and the beef were flavorful and juicy. Their Menudo is very good with a hint of a kick.The service is great. They are attentive however it's understandable when the restaurant is full of people and they don't have the staffing, it's understandable. They're not going to be at your table every 10 minutes.The interior is a Spanish style, so it's nice with music in the background which suits the atmosphere. Don't let me forget their Micheladas, which are very very tasteful. In my opinion, there's only two good Mexican restaurants and that's Delmar and another one on the boulevard, at the bottom. L O L. This is just my opinion, you would have to come out and try it to form your own opinion.

The food is good quality and generous portions. Prices are reasonable. Serving staff is friendly.

We have shrimp/chicken/steak Fajitas for 2 people . It got a lot of meat and the flavor was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. Love it. The best Fajitas I ever had. Customer service was perfect and the bad room are super clean. Can't complain. Highly recommended this place. We will be back again and again.

While I like the food at this restaurant the garlic shrimp does not describe it as having the shell still on. It's impossible to eat it without getting large chunks of shell in your mouth.I hope to remember to not order that again
