Crestmore Manor

Came here for a wedding. It seemed a bit eerie to me with the architecture of the structure and the pond. The reception room was nice and clean though. It was very spacious in my opinion. I thought the front of the building could be cleaned up a bit especially for a wedding ceremony, there's like spider webs at the top in plain view.To me, it looked like a funeral setting, so bit sire I'd recommend it here for happy events lol.

My husband and I were married at this location over 20 years ago I must say beautiful and elegant location to have your event at worth every penny, to have an amazing wedding with such a beautiful view such a beautiful aura such great scenery it's like a fairytale

My husband and I had our wedding here a year ago and had a great experience. Jennifer was helpful and made the process as easy as possible. The space was clean and our vendors were able to set up without any issues. We really enjoyed the flexibility of being able to hire any vendors we wanted. You pay for the space and that is it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful setting for an event.

The venue itself is beautiful, but it isn't managed well. When we arrived, the reception area wasn't set up yet even though the contract states: "A standard event layout for the inside of the Carriage House will be provided to the event holder(s).o The standard event layout will be set-up prior to decorating time."They claimed they didn't know if we would be setting up inside or outside....it's literally something you have to fill out on the contract, so of course they knew. I'd say it's possible they got confused because I did emailJennifer on 3/28 asking about using the outside area, but I never got a response. Paying was never easy. It took several emails to arrange payments. The only time someone actually called me to take the payment (instead of me initiating) was for the security deposit. Another issue was ants. There was a huge trail of giant ants in front of the manor. We didn't see these before the ceremony but, as I got to the altar, (we opted to set up in front of the pond), I looked down and they were crawling all over me and my dress. All our ceremony videos capture me trying to get them off, but then I realized it would be hopeless. After the ceremony, it took probably 15-20 minutes for my husband, coordinator, sister, and maid of honor to go through the layers of tulle of my dress (which the ants had infiltrated) and get them all out. I know there's nature around, but still. The trail was in front of the house right where most people have the ceremony so guests would have been sitting there. I didn't enjoy it but glad it was me and not my guests with ants all over them. Also, during the rehearsal, there was another event happening. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

I was a part of planning a formal night here that was circus-themed. The grounds were beautiful to walk around and tons of places to take pictures! There were tons of parking. We worked with Jennifer there and she and the entire staff were incredibly accommodating, so helpful the months leading up to the event and the night of. Thank you Crestmore Manor for having us!

Weddings and special occasions should be memorable & breathtaking! The Crestmore Manor has a lot of potential for hosting such an event. This cute little manor is tucked away in the middle of nowhere and can provide brides and party goers sufficient indoor and outdoor space for any event. I can't vouch for the process and coordinating with the staff since I had nothing to do with that aspect. Solely from a guests perspective, The Crestmore can truly shine with the right accents and, I'd imagine, the more $$ you have to throw onto the table. The acreage around the venue is green and spacious. It gives off a secluded feeling that attracts your guests to the actual party that's going on around them. This is especially true if the event is outside. The versatility seems to be limitless and I'd hope they'd allow their big spenders the opportunity to be creative.

All I can say is beautiful. Private event that we attended, my job hosted and it was simply amazing. The grounds are spectacular. Romantic place!!

It's a very beautiful place. Very convienant location, clean, nice get ready rooms, nice bathrooms, very spacious and good parking. However, the service there is horrible. This place seems like they don't want or care for people to rent it out. They make it impossible. Also if you want a nice wedding its impossible to have vendors. 10hr time is not reasonable. Because that includes set up and break down. Most vendors need about 2-3hrs to set up their draping and lights. I think they'd be better off renting it out the whole day to give people a chance to decorate and serve Alchohol with security. Even if they raise the price. No wonder it looks unused all the time. So sad. It could really be something nice but they choose to just let it sit there with no rentals. You can even tell because a lot of people in the area don't even know it exist.

While this venue is absolutely beautiful, the negligence of the staff we experienced was unfathomable. 3 hours before the wedding we showed up to decorate the venue to find that there was no working electricity or water in the entire venue. Not only did Crestmore Manor fail to advise us on the status of the venue, but they also failed to provide any solutions whatsoever. They left us to scramble and fend for ourselves, Jennifer the venue representative avoided us and ignored our calls. It should go without saying that an event space of Crestmore Manor's caliber, at minimum, should provide sanitary and working restrooms and electricity. However, we were left with zero operational restrooms, absolutely no power/electricity, and no safe alternatives. Our guests were left to use nonoperational restrooms that were pitch black and had feces/urine overflowing from the toilets causing extreme discomfort and a dangerous fall risk that caused some guests to slip. Crestmore Manor should have had a plan for power outages in place as a part of their safety protocols. Power outages happen, yet protocols to protect their guests should have been prepared; generators should have been onsite in case of emergency. The groom and father of the bride should not be left to fend for themselves in a situation like this. Crestmore Manor was booked with the understanding that this was a fully functioning and professional wedding venue, arriving and having to endure these horrendous conditions and excessive negligence from the staff was not only hazardous but deceptive and devastating.

We had the smoothest and easy-going wedding because of the Crestmore Manor and their wonderful staff. This venue was absolutely beautiful, incredibly affordable and provided great staff to be in contact with. We originally had booked this venue pre-covid and the staff worked with us over the last 2.5 years to ensure that we could find an available day that worked for us. Jennifer and her staff answered all of our questions, met us at the venue, and eased all of our concerns. We are so grateful for our vendors for working with us throughout the pandemic, but the Crestmore really went above and beyond to make sure our day was as stress free as possible.Within their control, Jennifer and her team created a stress-free environment and we are so pleased with how the wedding turned out. It would not have happened without this wonderful staff. We cannot recommend this hidden gem enough!
