Craving Crab Haus

We took our family on a Friday night after hearing about this place on Instagram. We enjoyed all of the food and the family tray was more than enough for all of us.We got the shrimp, peeled shrimp, green muscles, snow crab legs and added the lobster tail. The food came out fast and it was delicious, we enjoyed a good kick so we got it spicy and it was perfect with the potatoes, sausage and corn.They also have plenty of drink options. We tried their different margaritas and they were delicious. The location did get busy later in the day but there is plenty of space and the staff is on top of everything.Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a seafood boil. Make sure to ask for extra lemons and salt and pepper, we pour it on the parchment paper and squeeze the lemon so you can dip your shrimp in it.

My last visit to Craving Crab Haus was a bit disappointing. I ordered the snow crab clusters and New Zealand Mussels, with two sides of corn. The snow clusters were much smaller than what I can be purchased at a grocery store. The meat was very difficult to extract, and having growing up catching and cooking crab, this one was over heated in the process (NOTE: snow crab purchased from wholesalers are already precooked, therefore only needs reheating.)For the price of $38.00 for the snow crab it is not worth it. The corn was too starchy and not sweet, which indicates the corn past its ideal harvest time, and the mussels were overcooked making them tough to eat. The service was fair this time as I was only one of three customers during my visit. Ambience was still cute, but the lighting was poor.My previous visits were way better. At that time, they garnered a five star from me. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed. Total bill with a soft drink was $84.00. It wasn't worth the price considering the overall experience. I will need to get my crab fix elsewhere closer to home in Los Angeles instead of when I am in Riverside for classes.

If you're in riverside this is the place to go! The food is soooo delicious, this is by far my favorite seafood place. If you like a little spice I would go with the medium Shabang sauce. My whole dining experience here was a 10/10 & I can't wait to come back!

First time here and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the dinner for 2 and added sausage, lots of food. The snow crab and the corn were too soft. Should have them cook separately. Overall, I will return for the 2nd time

Had early dinner with my family. Place clean. Warm reception. Got seated right away. Ordered Cajun seafood package. My daughter also ordered michelada. I'm not a drinker but tried a sip and liked it (just a sip, she finished it all). Food came in smoking hot. Delicious juicy and well seasoned including corn. Loved it. Service was good.Definitely an enjoyable dinner. Everybody was happy.

Called a few days in advance to reserve a couple tables for 19 people to celebrate a family birthday. The staff were extremely sweet and accommodating for our large party. They let us bring our own cake for a small fee and kept it cold til we were ready to serve it. We ordered a few party trays for the tables and had more than enough. Everyone's favorites were the sausage, mussels and corn with the whole Shabang sauce. Medium spicy worked well for our group of mixed heat tolerances. Overall a wonderful and fun experience with delicious food. We'll be back!

170/2024Seafood is the best!First visit here was sure very filling.My daughter's dinner treat sure is sweet!It wasn't that busy on a Sunday early dinner time around 5pm in this Lousiana themed seafood restaurant.Our server was very attentive and accomodating, always made sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered! Bibs were a must if you care plus disposable food prep gloves were also provided!Got the garlic butter sauce with2 lbs snow crab legs1lb shrimpsQuartered Potatoes4 pcs Corn on a cobPlus a whole dungeness craband steamed rice !!!!Had the mild sauce on the side and with squeezed lemon wedges flavor was so on point ! Not too spicy after all. As another dipping sauce surely so flavorful that made the crab meat more yummmmy!!!Well what can I say eating dinner was messy but super delicious eating with the hands!!!

We had a birthday celebration here. They were very accommodating for our crowd. The service was fast, friendly and professional. Some of the best crab boil I have ever tasted. Highly recommend the muscles!

My friend and I went in the evening. We were interested in the all you can eat but we ended up getting family meal to share. It was so delicious. The sauce was good and the service good. The server answered all of our questions thoroughly. The owner was the dj and was playing all the RnB hits. It's a great vibe. I will definitely return. This location is in a Plaza and we had to pay for parking.

Everything was wonderful until I received the bill. I think whoever is waiting your table should specify specially if it's your first time dining there.
