Amazing restaurants. It is located in an unassuming location in the corner of an outdoor shopping mall area. It is family run and the experience was amazing. The owner checks on you and is truly a wonderful host. The food was unbelievably good. It's small so don't plan on just walking up for a table as the place will be full with reservations and others trying to walk in. You also won't get your order in 5 minutes as it is all made to order and lends itself to a lovely dining experience. There is even a live music which is very tasteful and still allows you to have conversation at the table without yelling. If you want a beautiful dining experience you must try this establishment. If you want to get your food in 5 minutes - go to the Macaroni Grill.

This is my first time ever writing a Yelp review but I believe more people need to know our unfortunate experience. Mind you my husband and I collectively have been in the food & beverage industry for 24 years, my mother has been in the industry for 40. We love great food, great customer service and are always more than happy to support family owned especially in the Corona community where we grew up.I spoke to my mother who loves family owned restaurants I suggested her and I go for my birthday, I made a reservation 2 weeks prior because I was so excited. Con Amore opens at at 4:00 pm during the week, we made a reservation at 4:30 pm (before their rush), we arrived at 4:15 pm. We walk into the restaurant,one table of two are already sitting at a table. My mom and I are early, we let the host/ server know about our reservation ( as we walk in there are about 3/4 of the servers congregated near the bar talking, not working which is our first impression of the restaurant. They turn to look at us, no smiles or excitement, I let the server who greets us know about our reservation ,she walks us to a smaller table, we ask if we can sit at one of the larger tables because it's my birthday and we intend on ordering a lot of food (if you've ever sat at a small two top table you have enough room for drinks, an appetizer and plates on the table).She makes a fuss, gets the owner, by the way, she is loud, and unprofessional as we are standing there she is explaining to the owner all of the reasons we are unable to sit at the table we requested to be at. The owner comes over, I share our reservation, we will be out before the rush and would like a larger table, he then proceeds to tell us why we need to sit a the table he is showing us to. All in all the Garlic & Herb Pinsa was over cooked, my Penne ai Funghi was al dente, my mother's shrimp on her fettuccine was not cooked correctly. At the end of our meal we pay in cash, the server is unable to give us change. Again, I have never written a review before, but the owner was rude when speaking to us, the blonde was not welcoming, friendly or understanding. Why would I support a restaurant if they can't treat us kindly? We get up to leave it's about 5:30 pm no one says goodbye and the table we had requested to sit at was still opened.

If I could give this restaurants zero stars, I would all because of the manager!! Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant. We walked in and right away this short bald headed manager/host approached us and said he was going to take care of us. He looked at the rest of the party we came with then turned us away, saying they're no longer serving dinner in the most rudest way! Then proceeded to walked away & say they can be mad while smiling & shrugging his shoulders. Then proceeded to sit the party that came in after us down. This is no way a manager should be treating his customers and running a business!Definitely will be calling corporate and complaining about our experience. We were definitely singled out.

First off let me say the ambiance and staff were fantastic. I have an out of town guest that wanted Italian. I have a friend that highly recommended Con Amore. My friends dinner was excellent! Mine? Not so much! I had penne with meatballs. The meatballs were RAW! Yes you read correctly RAW! They looked cooked, well browned on the outside. I bit into one and the raw, mushy meat stuck on my tongue. I thought ok that happens to a meatball every now and again. I cut the next one , the next one and so on. All were raw! The staff happily took it away , offered me more and apologized. Unfortunately it was too late for me. They graciously took the meal off the bill. Needless to say I went away hungry. My heritage is Italian and I am difficult to please. I thought ok, you can't mess up a meatball. Well, I guess you can't if it isn't cooked! My guest said her chicken was superb.I guess I would say give it a try, you have a 50/50 chance!

Alfredo was such a wonderful soul. He made a spaghetti pasta with shrimp added olives and capers. He made my whole dining experience wonderful. Yet another visit to what has become one of my favorite restaurants. The owner of this restaurant is Alfredo and he is so welcoming. He greeted my date and I upon our arrival and took amazing care of us all evening. My date felt like a VIP with all the special attention. The food, as always was absolutely amazing! Alfredo recommended a few new items and they were so delicious! Thank you so much!

Came here to try their Lobster ravioli. Unfortunately it was taken off the menu a few months ago. So my second choice was the four cheese gnocchi. I gotta say it was worth the drive 10 out of 10!

We went to Italy about a year ago and it forever changed my taste to pasta. Seeing so many great experience based off the reviews for Con Amore and knew I needed to taste it for myself. We did not have a reservation and got seated immediately on a Saturday night at 6pm mind you it was busy as it was. Immediately after a dinner rush of people came and a line started. It is worth the wait. We started off with burrata and speck the bread was nice and warm the burrata cheese was so fresh and delicious. Perfect starter. The ambiance was intimate but lively at the same time. The host, who I believe to be the owner was such a charming Italian man. He gave it that authentic Italian experience we had when we traveled. The food was exquisite! Our family always purposely chooses different plates everywhere we go to purposely pick off everyone's choices. I could not stop eating everything it was amazing. I left soo full and satisfied yet still left with a Togo box of leftovers. The dessert options change daily, even though I was so full I still wanted to hear about them. I wish I had a space for just a taste but I couldn't this time. I already look forward for my next visit just to try something new!
