Cock-A-Doodle Restaurant

We ate in the bar area hoping to take advantage of happy hour specials. Potato skins should be a staple in a bar and grill.. they aren't good. Service was so so like, we got the drinks quick and the food didn't take long to come either but allOf a sudden, in DECEMBER the AC came on and was blowing straight at us! Really cold. We even waited a few minutes to see if it would cut off. It didn't so.., We left without packing up the nachos. They weren't good either. What a disappointment. I live a mile away from there and was really hoping the food would be good. Maybe skip appetizers and get the meals that look so good because neither one we ordered was good.

As always, the food was amazing!! Wife and I had the hamburger steak dinner and we damn near locked our plates. Clam chowder was one of the best that I've eaten. Been here plenty of times and we'll definitely be back!!!!

For many years this pace has been amazing! They deserve a review. I started going to the main dining room for a couple years. The food has been great. I discovered the back bar and started coming here for the majority of my visits. The staff works our butts off to make sure everyone is served properly and happily. Nothing locally has compared. This is the go-to place for service and food worth the price.

Great food, drinks and service. Eat in the back bar. It's a great place to hang out and watch a game.

I put in an order for pick up, so when I went to get the food I didn't know what door I should have went through but I ended up in the back. I found an entrance and when I walked in it was a bar. Looked like an old school bar! I'm sure this place hasn't changed in years but I miss going to places like this . I knew I was in the right place so I asked for directions and they led me to the Restaurant. When I got there, which was only a few feet away I walked in the cozy dining area. Again I looked around and knew this had to be local gem. The dining area was nice and cozy and decorated. I have should have just came here to dine in. Next time for sure and I'll bring people with me. Food was great when I got home. Pancakes were fluffy and the Rib eye was juicy. I will definitely be coming back .

A visit that took decades. So back story my parents moved to the area in the 1960sand herd of a place in chino with amazing chicken. They decided to give it a try the line was long eventually they went elsewhere. Well Mom got to go all be it a different menu today. She had the fried shrimp and minestrone soup. I had the Ortega sandwich as it was lunch. The shrimp were beer battered and large with good flavor . Her soup looked homemade and was a large portion of. She opted for onion rings as her side. The sandwich fad a generous portion of roast beef Ortega chili and cheese. This a a bar & restaurant so it was loud. The bar is dark with stone on one wall that has various liquor bottles imbedded in it. Service was friendly the prices are reasonable , parking is in a lot behind the bar. I would go again . Mom was happy to have finally gone despite not getting fried chicken.

I've eaten at this restaurant on and off for decades. Previously mostly for breakfast with the entire family, kids and all. Sans family, most recently I started going in for dinner hours. I joined the loyalty club. Thought I'd take advantage of rewards they'd offer. I was shocked when I tried to use the "buy one get one dinner" offer. First of all , it's not buy one get one, it's buy one get another one for up to $10. Tell me if you can find a dinner on the menu for $10 or less ! So it's basically a $10 off coupon!! Moreover, I was there on a Friday night about 6 PM. Thought I'd have the advertised (outside banner) weekends only prime rib dinner . I was told they ran out -- at 6 pm on a a Friday Night!! What kind of planning is that?I'm sorry to say, you've lost my business.

Food is the best on the street service is always great and very relaxing ambiance. Whenever I'm in the area I always stop by.
