It's a fun place with great cover bands!I recommend the VIP section to have your table reserved and to order your food and drinks without having to go to the bar; it comes out to $25 a person if you have the max number of people (with no extra cover charge), which is a reasonable price. I don't understand the low ratings. Like most bars, staff are busy, have patience. People are complaining about $11 drinks and a cover charge for a live band? These are all reasonable prices.

I came here for a friends birthday. I was very surprised that they have pretty good bar food- fries, sliders, chips and salsa!!! My friend loved the purple rain drink- highly recommended. They really stick to the theme with only 80's music and music videos. The bartenders were friendly and so was the staff. They take card and cash for entry.

I've gone here 3 times over the last 18 months- and it's been awesome each time! My experience each time has been pretty consistent- get there around 8pm when they open, and haven't had any problems parking near the club entrance. Most of the other businesses in that area are closed by that time, so theres plenty of room... staff at the door are super friendly and walk you inside if you've never been there before. Just bring cash because thats the only form of payment they take for the cover charge ($15 a head). The DJ does a great job at reading the crowd and playing a great mix of freestyle, 80s pop, new wave, etc... the club system is decent, but it's not cranked up, so you can still carry a conversation without too much trouble. Hard liquor is a bit pricey, but the beer is reasonable for a club setting. And I've only had the French fries, so can't say too much about the food... but there is some appealing stuff I'd like to try from the menu next time I go. They usually have a cover band start playing around 11pm- and the ones I've seen are amazing! The Depeche Mode cover band was on point! The security is very chill with everyone, but they're quick to handle any problems... only saw one incident where they've needed to remove someone causing problems. So I feel very safe bringing my wife and 21+ family and friends. If you grew up in the 80s, or just appreciate the decade, and want to go out without any drama with other people like you- definitely hit up the Club 80s Bar and Grill!

What a cool 80s place and actually wish I knew about it sooner. My friend took me here and wow, what a cool place to listen to everything that I grew up listening to. It was the perfect time to go because it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded, and I could just sit and watch people dance and enjoy themselves. It was a cool vibe and there was a bar there too and I enjoyed a drink. I would definitely come back here!

We were visiting Corona for a wedding. Our large group was looking for a bar/lounge and found this club on Yelp. I was a little iffy with the 3 star rating but we had the BEST time! Ambiance was great and we danced all night. Justine, our bartender, was friendly and provided excellent customer service.

Great music and drinks. Must come early or reserve a table if you want a place to sit. I honestly enjoyed the vibe and it seriously was clean and had an older crowed that was a big plus.

We had reserved tickets to the 80s Day Dream Fest with 4 cover bands (Echo and the Bunnymen, Smiths, Cure, Depeche Mode). This was a weird noon to 5:00 time slot, for a concert. But it was fun and the bands were pretty good, especially Bunnymen and Depeche Mode. Very good voices and covers. Getting in sucked. Somehow they only had one check-in person, and it was taking forever to get people in the door. Just forever, standing in the heat. There was another line for people who were buying their tickets there. They were getting in faster. Such a strange process. Then, walking through the door the smell hits you. That, we-don't-actually-clean-vomit-bad-sewage-never-mopped-sticky-floor old nasty smell. And ladies, if you go to the restroom, just dial that up another notch. So gross. I ordered a skinny margarita. It was not good. Tasted like it had no vodka and a bad margarita mix. Forget lime juice. And the salt on the rim was even weird. Not the right size salt crystals, kind of powdery. Husband ordered some food and beers. We had chicken fingers, which were actually good. I can't remember the last time I had chicken fingers, but they were very moist and tasty. He also had jalapeño poppers - not good. Kind of chewy weird jalapeños. The fries we had were not bad. There are very few tables and if you go for an event, you should definitely reserve a table if you want to sit because there are zero other chairs except the ones at the reserved tables. Expect to stand. Large dance floor and stage area. The bands were fun and the crowd was also fun. Obviously, an older crowd who likes 80s music! Lots of people got into the 80s with their outfits. Fabulous 50s. (Year-olds) Ha. The servers did a good job and were nice enough. :)I wish this place did not smell bad. I would want to go back if it didn't smell like death.

This was our first time visiting an 80"s club. The Green Day cover band was excellent. Security was nice. In comparison to the 80"s bar in Placentia the dance floor is a really good size. If you don't pay for VIP reservations seating is very limited by the dance floor. Drinks are watered down but there are other places that do the same. The only problem we had is there was one toothless lady with bright pigtails taking up the dance floor and at one point her dance partner picked her up sideways on his shoulders. With her legs in air nearly slamming them into my head. She was also kept lifting up her skirt exposing her underwear. Staff needs to be trained to deal with intoxicated people that are controlling the dance floor or creating an unsafe environment. We will be back hoping for a better experience but if there is no improvement we won't be back again.
