The two stars reflect the ambiance and the presentation of the food and interior, not the flavors of the curry. I'd give it 2.4 stars but decimal points don't count. The place has so much potential though and I hope they take this review into consideration. I've seen pictures of a year ago when the place was first open. There was a lot more hope and life to the place. The counter looked organized and ready for something great. Instead now there's various menus with changes in prices on the glass (just print new menus with the new prices), the paying area looks like a story that didn't end well with glued stickers on the counter that were once used to keep the credit card reader from moving and a phone that is dusty and rarely used. I ordered the double chicken tikka masala priced now at $7 with garlic naan at $1 extra. I was excited thinking it'd be made fresh. $8 for a fresh garlic naan would be a win. To my surprise the back counter that displayed a microwave was used to reheat the bread. *facepalm* At this point I don't care that you have a microwave, though a mini oven would be a better look. Put that in the back kitchen and hide the fact that you microwave your naan among other things I question now. At a grand total after tax of $9.06 for a few pieces of chicken over their masala sauce, microwaved garlic naan, and not basmati rice, I can't go back. I would be more than happy to return if changes are made, but with their own accepted defeat by the look and presentation of this place, how can they make me believe that there's hope when they don't believe it themselves. I wish there were family and friends that were honest and supported growth so that this place succeeds because we need more family owned restaurants to succeed!

Great price and Great flavors but needs major improvement in other areas. The Service was very slow for just throwing food in to go plates and it wasn't the cleanest inside. When I got in the car to eat my food I took a bite of the Chicken Tikka masala and it was cold as well as the naan and rice. Now I have to drive an hour away to my house to heat it up. Other than that the flavor of the Chicken masala was a 7/10 and the naan was flatbread with a horrible garlic flavor. May try again because of the prices but we will see.

Probably the worst indian food I've ever bought. Didnt even bother to eat it. Should've walked out when I've seen the inside. Theres literally no menu on the wall just a piece of paper with descriptions on the counter. Don't know how they could even survive theres no initiative or effort for them to properly operate this business.Got the $7 chicken tikka masala meal that comes with rice n pita bread. Rice smells old and tasted spoiled, the sauce has a slight sour taste and the chicken has a funny old taste to it. The worst part is when i made my order they microwaved the food right in front of me.

April 1st 2024, I don't recall Mohammed expressing ANY WELCOME.I was already present and ordered: Double 'Tikki Chicken' when a woman who arrived AFTER me was intentionally helped by the only worker present, ...BEFORE me.I spoke out: 'Oh Sure, Lady's first"Then she spoke out to Mohammed: 'Help him first'; She'd clearly repeatedly been there.She was sitting down. Yet he didn't speak his truthful intentions, instead he said: "I will re-serve you and ensure it's 'the correct temperature'("...No extra cost!" Just before ordering from Mohammed, I asked him if the food was fresh?I was hungry and ordered "double chicken with mango lassi".Mohammed is certainly a practiced liar, because at first he said: 'I dunno if we have mango lassi".Only after serving Cold food, Packaged to leave with plastic bag... he said: No, we have no Mango lassi'... he knew that before I walked in!...I presume he waited to tell me... Just to ensure I paid. I sat down after receiving food after Payment.MOHAMMED must have been distracted or just lazy. I felt the sealed food container: ZERO heat.I sat down. After Opening my paid for meal... Rice and Chicken were both Cold. I thought to myself: At least it's not room temperature, but not refrigerator cold... I wished they cared more. I met the main restaurant owner/manager last year.In total, including my COLD CHICKEN (should be served no colder than 165° F! Otherwise FOOD SICKNESS can happen... but it's a family run business and Mohammed does not demonstrate to care!I'm sure his uncle cares, but Mohammed doesn't seem to!

I'm back Yelp!My wife and I were driving doing chores when ER noticed that a former Subway was taken over by a new Indian spot with the name Chicken Tikka Masala Express. We quickly googled the name and found that they were a new establishment offering $5 plates of food. We returned after finishing our chores and found that the interior looked EXACTLY like Subway--from the bread maker oven, to the chairs, to the soda machine. They even cut our parsley with Subway knives. Coming from a former Subway employee, I felt at home. We talked to the two workers who informed us that they opened their doors on 12/19/22. They only had a few items with different combinations of chicken tikka masala, dhal, or chana masala with rice and bread for a measly five dollars. Literally five dollar footlong converted to five dollar curry. The taste, you ask? For Indian fare, it was pretty tasty. The seasonings were on point although it was slightly watered down. We will be returning customers for sure!

We didn't read the reviews as we got here but either way I like to try out places on my own due to people having their own experiences in places. Unfortunately this place was as other reviews mentioned it is very cheap in case you are in a budget but I think they need improvement in their food and if that means they have to raise the prices they should. They only have about like four different options to choose from which we tried the chicken Tikka combo which comes with white rice the chicken and the naan bread. The orders come in little to go containers. The portions are small considering how much you are paying which was about around 7 dollars had about five tiny pieces of chicken but lacked so much flavor and tasted very watered down. Our naan bread was not warm at all but still ate it cold. This place can have potential if they make their food with flavor and also make the inside more welcoming they might get more costumers. White frankly I honestly simply recommend going somewhere else or simply try it out at your own risk maybe you have more luck than most of us have had from this place.

This place is a shitty place one there food nasty n not chicken when it's chicken Tikka masala and then there place is very just plain never again will I go here.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I came in and saw someone in the back and waited at the counter for a bit to see if anyone would come to greet me--and if nothing else, take my order. But still after saying "hello can I order" loud enough, no one came up. While still in the store I called the restaurant to see if any one would answer the phone and a man answered. I asked what the address was and he said if I want to find the address I can check google. Never have I ever had worse service. I was looking forward go trying the food but I will not be returning.

There were very little options to choose from but I'm a fan of simple done right. That isn't the case here, sadly. The food was cold and wasn't very flavourful. The man serving was kind. It gave me the feeling of a very empty buffet. I was so disappointed by the lack of spice. Indian food is always tasty, but even the naan was cold and nothing had much flavour, sadly.
