My family and I have been coming here since they opened years ago. Best mexican food in all of socal! Must try the consommé with the taquitos de pollo or huarache of any meat with a cafe de olla. They do have some vegetarian options. The owners and servers are the sweetest people ever and make sure every meal is of quality. They have catered multiple family events for us...nothing is ever wrong. Take everyone and their moms here!

Great Mexican food in the style of Mexico City. We got the hurache with cecina and it was great! The salsa that comes on it was spicy and delicious. The hurache had a delicious corn taste and it was HUGE. Very good! Also ordered a carne asada taco and it was PACKED with meat and delicious. The decor is very cool and embodies Mexico's capital. Not your typical Mexican food, this place has a unique flavor and style of food that is very good.

My favorite place ! Worth every penny. Most comforting food. Feels like home. My boys to go spot !

Bring cash!! It is a cash only place but they do have an ATM available if you need it... the service fee was $2 so not bad. The food was great here. The portions are HUGE we definitely could've just gotten one thing and shared but it definitely was worth trying the different plates. We had a birria combo that came with the consume and the flauta combo as well. Both were so good and we had some to take home. The service too was awesome everyone was super friendly and helpful. The micheladas were delicious. Definitely a new spot we're going to be frequenting!

Cash only restaurant! I was excited to try this place because they have al vapor (canasta) tacos. I ordered mushroom quesadilla what is made with homemade corn tortilla. That was tasty. But I was disappointed with tacos. They didn't seem seamed at all just fried and filled with loads of grilled onion. I would pass on them next time. I did like how they brought out different salsas, limes, cilantro, and onions. The service was ok. I ordered a water and never got it. The waitress did not come to us at all after food served. Their restaurant was well decorated inside showing some of the monuments in Mexico City. I believe they are known for their lamb. Didn't try it this time.

I got a barbacoa de chivo and let me tell you worth every penny. Amazing barbacoa they are not shy on the portions of meat you get. Plus they add rise and garbanzo to the broth. Also they give you hand made tortillas. The salsas they give you are great and go perfect with the Birria. Definitely my number 1 stop for barbacoa I have tried in the area.

Si es tu primera vez este no es un típico Mexican restaurant se especializa en barbacoa de borrego a una gente le gusta y a otra no en lo personal a nosotros nos encanta el borrego Ya somos regulares en este lugar comemos seguido les recomiendo las enchiladas y las flautas muy buenas todo viene acompañado de un consomé muy buenas porciones de comida por el presio el servicio está muy vien en lo personal siempre me atienden vien algo que puedo desir es que se ponen muy ocupados y eso ase que lasórdenes se atrasen y tome mas tiempo especialmente los finés de semana so si piensas comer aquí prepárense para esperar y así ya no anda uno tan enojado por esperar recommended

Delicioso, like always. Everyone is so nice, welcoming, and has a great sense of humor.The food didn't take so long to get to us and the atmosphere was lively and happy.

Looking for a good torta and discovered the monster Supreme torta here. Nice looking restaurant and friendly staff, but also some very tasty food. Got the giant torta - ham, chorizo, beef, egg, any slow moving animals within chopping distance - cubano style. Hadn't eaten all day (I'm a big guy; aka fat). Got home ate half and had no interest in looking at the other half. Next night for dinner I cooked up the second half intending to make a burrito. Too much meat to fit in the burrito. Great second meal - and again a bit too much food. For $20 that sandwich could have reasonablly fed a family of four. Great value with the great taste.
