Cheliz Restaurant

Cheliz is one of our go-to places, close to home and offers a wide variety of menu options. Along with traditional breakfast items, you can also find Mexican dishes. The menu includes complete dinner choices as well. They are open for breakfast - which is their strong suit - and lunch, closing in the early afternoon. My wife and I eat here a couple of times a month because it's handy and consistent. We have caught them a couple of times struggling to keep up with orders, probably due to unexpected issues, but it created long wait times and problems with our order. This is not normal. Saturdays are busy, however we have never waited to be seated - even during those couple of times they were struggling. Cheliz offers a friendly personal atmosphere with tidy tables and a homey "comfortable" tone. Wait staff is friendly and efficient, speaking both English and Spanish. Ordering is done digitally table side via a wireless system. Very fast and efficient. I should mention that the couple of times they were backed up, the wireless system was down. We expect to pay around $50 for two nice meals - including beverages and tip.

Easy and ample parking, non- handicap access front door entrance.Seating is open, area clean. Hostesses are attentive and visit table frequently. The Eggs Benedict was ok, the meat was a bit chewy. Got the Country potatoes which didn't have much seasoning. Overall, it's a good Brunch place

We went for breakfast with the whole family and I gotta say, it still is good. We went a long time ago before all the restaurants closed before Covid, but we went again and it's still really good. My kids and my nephews got the basic kids things like eggs, hashbrowns, etc. and it was good. But our dishes were good as well, and good quantity and quality for price. The service was super nice, we had a waitress who interacted with our kids in a playful manner so that was nice. & the inside was clean and open. The location is on the little strip mall next to the nail salon but it's with a Rio ranch market and Walgreens. Is it the nicest spot in Redlands? No, but the area is nice. We live less than 3 minute away and it's nice. Overall we will go again, it's a nice little spot for us.

So cute in there and it was busy which I loved, I love seeing business thrive! The breakfast platter for my son was delicious. I love how it's right my house tucked away in the little shopping center. Next to donut town another awesome place in highland. I called in my order and was able to pick it up in 15 minutes

Been here a few times for breakfast with the homies. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere and vibes are immaculate. Feels very cozy. Love the food. Food is always seasoned well and remains consistent. Highly recommend to those who don't like crowded places.

Very home style feeling. The staff is great and the food is excellent. Mix of American and Mexican food. If you like menudo it's the place go. Locals hangout.We've been there twice and it's been good every time.

Food was average, came out quick, all servers are very friendly. Coffee cake tasted good but it was too thick, got stuck on the roof of my mouth and hard to swallow down. The restaurant itself was nice and clean and very spacious. I'd come again if my other options weren't available

The food and service are always outstanding!One of their breakfast specials today was French toast stuffed with cream cheese and topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries. It was delicious!We are so happy to have Chiliz in Highland!Jim and Wanda

Potato's are FIRE!! Biscuits and gravy are also !!!! Love this place... BTW this is mid eating !

I went here for the first time today with friends who are frequent diners they absolutely love this restaurant. I ordered the senior breakfast combo with bacon and eggs and two pancakes. It was very tasty.The restaurant was very clean, spacious and enjoyable to dine in. The ladies taking our order and waiting on us, we're very friendly and professional and very attentive to filling up coffee cups on a frequent schedule.. Bottom line is I enjoyed my breakfast here very much and when I am in this part of the town seeking breakfast or lunch, I will make this a usual stop .
