My aunt and I stopped here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We sat on the patio and had great views of the vineyard. There's plenty of shade as well & others had their dogs with them so I'm sure it's a dog friendly patio. We both had the traditional breakfast - eggs, potatoes & bacon. My aunt was able to substitute for all egg whites and tomatoes instead of potatoes. She also had a mango mimosa that was fantastic. The food was delicious & the service was fantastic. I failed to write down our servers name but I think his name was Elijah and he was super sweet & attentive. I would definitely come back to try some other menu items. Beautiful winery!

I'll start off saying we usually LOVE the Cave. We have been members of the winery for 3 years and love to take our guests to lunch anytime someone comes to visit us and get our tasting flights while we dine on their delicious menu. Everyone is always so impressed when the tastings arrive (I'll post some past visit pictures as well). We were so excited for their Valentine's Day dinner but our experience ended up being kind of weird/ uncomfortable. We checked in at the tasting bar to get our receipt to have our tasting flights at our table like we always do, but once seated, the waiter told us we would have to pay full price (something like 22 dollars each for members). Assuming they brought in extra help for the event that may not be familiar with things, I explained that we got the receipt from the bar for our tastings. The waiter started arguing saying the only way to have a flight in the restaurant was to pay full price. He went on to say that every waiter we've ever had there was 'wrong and gave away free wine and that's why a lot of them don't work here anymore". Just such an odd thing to say.... Rather than argue about the flight i said ok we'll just get the glass of wine with the tasting receipt. He said we'd have to go to the tasting bar (where we literally just came from) to get our glass of wine. So I asked him, then what is this receipt that we stood in line for 20 minutes to get from them for? He tried to say it had no relevance. At this point the mood was already ruined and I wasn't going to waste time arguing so we just ordered our food and moved on. What was supposed to be a romantic relaxing dinner ended up being awkward and difficult to enjoy. On the way out we stopped to purchase a bottle of wine and asked the staff at the bar about the receipt. They confirmed it was to give to the waiter to have him bring our tasting flights to our table. As it has been the other 12+ times we've visited. As it was explained to us when we signed up for membership (and why we signed up for membership in the first place). I'm not giving up on them yet as ALLLL the previous times we've been there were fantastic. Guess we'll see what happens next time but the whole reason we joined there was because we prefer being seated and having food with our tastings - if you think about it we are spending more money than if we just went up to the bar and stood there for our tastings. Whatever their current policy may be, they should get the staff all on the same page.

Wanted to love this place. It's pretty cool. Let's start with the good. The restaurant is very cool. We were sat at one of the tables between rows of wine barrels. It feels like each party has their own private room. The service was pretty good too. What rubbed us the wrong way... I booked the reservation the day before and there were plenty of open times so I thought it would be chill. Turns out there are many different venues there (a distillery, outdoor entertainment areas, etc) so parking was a nightmare. Had to park illegally outside and hoof it up a hill to make it on time. The food.... Charcuterie 2.5/5When it was brought to us, you could clearly see that it was pre-prepared and stored. You can tell by the cuts that gel together, and that everything is cold. Even the bread was ice cold through and through. It wasn't horrible, but for $35, make it fresh or at least warm the bread and add it after. Chimichuri steak fries 3.5/5Was the better the thing we ordered. Again everything seemed like it was made a few days ago and warmed up. Good, but so much potential to be great. Poblano Linguinie 3/5Great potential! Loved the idea, but the sauce needed salt and pepper. I see where they were going, and I'd love to get there! Was just more bland than it should have been. When someone orders a chili pepper based sauce (even a super mild poblano) they expect a little somethin tangy. Over all a decent experience. I would come back without the kids and do a tasting and check out the rest of the venue, maybe it will change my mind. But I won't be back to the restaurant.

What a great place. The Valet parking attendant was courteous and professional to start. We had reservations and what a nice place. Tana "Like Banana" was our server extraordinare and was professional, attentive and kind. We started with bread butter and drinks. We opted for Margaritas versus wine. I know but those winery has cocktails, beer and wine. The ambiance is spectacular with each table surrounded by beautiful oak crafted wine barrels. We had lunch with my wife having a grilled chicken salad and I had the short rib. Excellent food, service and people.Highly recommended

Wine & good food make the best combination! Food was good, service was a bit slow, and ambiance was nice. We waited on the food a bit longer than normal wait times but overall the company and ambiance made up for it. The chimichurri steak and fries were yummy. Large portions that are great for sharing.

Such a cool and intimate experience dining in the cave. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of the dishes. We shared the cubano and chimichurri fries and couldn't finish it all. The cubano was delicious with a ton of meat. We had it with the side salad which was refreshing. Great service. We got white wine by the glass... it's whatever they already have uncorked.

The food here is basically warmed up cafeteria food. Came here for Valentines Day, and everything we ordered tasted like it was prepared days ago and reheated. Even down to the pickles on the cuban sandwich...they were a soggy unchewable mess. And the WINE tasted like rubbing alcohol. So disappointing. The steak on the fries was precut and microwaved. Perfect combo of great scenery and terrible food.

Visited Cave Cafe last week before my husband and I went on a paid tasting at Oak Winery. When we asked the hostess for a seat, she asked if we'd like indoor or outdoor. I said "indoor because it's too cold outside." She told us nevermind because they didn't have any indoor seats available and that it was colder inside anyway. Please, if you're going to have outside dining in January, turn your outdoor heaters on! We were seated in the shade and the umbrellas were up blocking the sun from reaching out table anyway. I was shivering so badly that my husband got my coat from the car for me. I heard another table ask for the only heater I saw to be brought to them and for their umbrella to be lowered. As a Celiac, I wasn't confident that I'd be able to eat here as they don't have a marked menu. They have a shared fryer so anything fried was off limits. I ended up with the $23 mahi-mahi tacos which were very generously filled although a bit bland. My husband had the $19 Cubano panini. Overall, it took about an hour from start to finish for our meal, so don't think you're going to come here for a quick bite before your tour. Give yourself ample time and maybe make reservations if you're going to eat here. I cannot stress enough - bring a coat if you're going to eat here in winter. You will freeze without it.Visited January 2024

Service and food were terrible. More so the service. Wine and ambience were good. Restrooms were clean. Because of the service I will not be back.

Michael the manager has been such a racist tonight. He had the nerve to say "you people" he was calling us liars that we were using the system that we did not order the wine and constantly questioned us. Asking us for the receipt 3 times because he did not believe us. We had purchased two bottles of wine and extra wine tastings and some wine cups. We even had the old server tell him to chill. New server very chill
