Casa Trejo Mexican Restaurant

The service was pleasant but no exaggeration- this was by far the worst Mexican Food I've ever had in my life. The brown salsa did not taste like salsa and I was told I would have to pay $6 for a side of green salsa and they didn't have a red. That's pretty crazy to me. Adding an extra star solely for the cheap happy hour drinks. Come here for drinks, not food. Their non-HH prices are absolutely wild at $20-$30 a plate... They think they're fancy I guess. Bold of them considering everything tasted like straight up oil.

Took my 86 year old mother last week to Casa Trejo for lunch . From the time we sat down our waitress kept telling us she was leaving . Immediately after our food arrived she brought the check and reminded us she was leaving . Usually when someone is leaving or going on break they introduce the person who is covering for them.Never once asked if we would like refills on drinks . The shredded beef nachos didn't have any pico , olives , Jalepenos and were cold in the middle . My mom took what was left home to heat up. We asked for pico a very small 1/4 cup was brought and was charged $3.00 Pretty sad I have been coming here for more years than I can count .

Came here on a Friday night. I expected it to be busy. The wait wasn't too bad. We were seated within 20 minutes. The chips and salsa were delicious. We ordered right away. Three rounds of chips and salsa and almost 90 minutes later, we decided to leave. Totally unacceptable. Why would anyone wait this long for a simple dinner. They checked on us a few times and even asked us how many chips and salsa we had. We only kept asking for more because our food never came. I will never return here. Even if the chips and salsa is good. Good luck.

Food is great. Ron grande is bomb. Chips and salsa and great. I love the service and the food is amazing and fresh.

We love Casa Trejo! It's a must stop every time we head out to the desert. The Casa Margarita and carnitas are our regular order because they are both that good. On this trip I decided to also order the business persons lunch special and ordered a chilie rellenos and a beef taco and they were freshly prepared and outstanding! The salsa served with chips are also so fresh, it's hard to say no to seconds.From the hostess to the servers, everyone is so fantastic. Thank you all and we'll see you again soon.

Food was out of this world amazing'! Not at all what I expected. I had lunch there and was surprised that despite their vegetarian menu being very limited to only 2 dishes, I left very satisfied by authenticity and quality of my meal.I'm confident their other meals were. Judging from how full the restaurant was.I will definitely be back and hope the menu will be bigger.

This place was always our favorite but now the portions are so small!! The tacos are miniature!! The salsa bowls are half an inch deep....AND the prices are way up. It's a real turn off. I don't mind paying more but don't serve me mini tacos. We are done with this place. I feel duped. What a sad ending to a once great restaurant.

I have loved this place for over 20 years. The salsa, the beans let's just say the food has always been excellent. I have told people to eat there and given gift cards.Stopped by last weekend to get salsa. when I was paying for it and trying to read the receipt to fill it out it was ripped from my hand befote I could. I was so dumbfounded that the owner had just done that before I had even finished filling it out.with that kind of service I can't justify going there anymore.

Haven't been here in a few years. Used to frequent this spot very regularly, always good food. Not the same this time. Prices are way up, food portions have gone down. Taste and quality are the same as remembered so I thought I'd get past that. Then the bill came. A surcharge? I questioned what it was and was told menu prices haven't increased so that covers it. Yet, the menu prices have obviously increased....hmmm. So whatever I pay. Then the kicker, another $5 because I used a card? Get the F out of here! I was just taken for $10 on some BS. Unethical and possibly even illegal. Not what you do to customers, I won't be back.
