I love this place so much. Anytime I climb in Joshua Tree, Black, Tram area we will stop here to have dinner no matter what. I may climb in those areas specifically to come here for dinner but who knows. The molcajete is absolute fire and their salsa is still my favorite. It enough food for 2 meals for my man and I. The large margaritas are literally the size of my head (and I have a big ass head) and one gets me loopy. I've been coming here for years and have no plans to stop. I hope it's around for years to come because I will be devastated if they're gone. Everyone I've taken has loved their food!

Amazing service, delicious food! The salsa is so flavorful and everyone is so kind. We broke down and enjoyed an amazing meal while waiting for our vehicle!

Good Mexican Food, good bar and above average service. Restaurant is nicely decorated and prices are reasonable.

Great place, friendly staff and good food, I'm particularly happy with the 3 meat fajitas, the carnitas plate is excellent, the crispy shredded beef tacos plate is another favorite.

Overall good vibes here, We decided to go here to celebrate my brother in law's promotion. It was a Friday night so they were busy. It took about 30 min for us to get seated for a party of 10 (3 kids) which is not too bad. Waitress was fast and friendly. Checked on us pretty regularly to ensure we were doing ok. The food over all was great, all of the adults meals were delicious. Only thing I heard that wasn't great was the kids bean and cheese burritos. But kids are picky, so it's safe to say we'll be back, especially for the molcajete! Perfect for 2, and the cheese and chorizo and sauce inside it was the truth! Thank you!

What a hidden gem! We were driving back from Palm Springs and this was the perfect pitstop on the way home to Carlsbad. Their salsa is award winning and the ambiance of the restaurant is authentic and inviting.

We picked up dinner to go. Fast service and everyone who was eating there seemed to be enjoying the food and staff. It was a Sunday night and they had the Rams game on with fans enjoying dinner and the game. Great little spot in Banning you might overlook but I recommend you stop in!

Visited Casa Cruz and had the chicken enchilada combo. It was pretty good but what stood out to me the most was their salsa: spicy but with a good, fresh flavor; it didn't taste like canned tomatoes were used like some other places I've tried. The chips were a bit thick and tasted like they came out of a bag. Mostly, though, my food was good. The service was friendly, and the ambience was welcoming with an obvious Mexican flair and a busy buzz.

Small little family owned restaurant. It was a nice feel to dine in. Chicken hard shell taco was really good. I ordered the #9 combo plate. The cheese enchilada was the only thing I liked. It was lacking flavor in the chili relleno.. The rice and beans was also kinda whatever to me..Service was a bit on the slower side. But, I understand about the staffing. I saw a little girl working in there.

Great service by staff for our birthday party of 8 for Sunday brunch. Food, however, not of the quality of the hospitality.
