carnitas al estilo michoacan pomona #3

Stopped by on Christmas Eve and tried the burrito de carnitas and an agua de horchata.The carnitas were pedestrian at best and the salsas were mediocre. The horchata was had an after taste and wasn't that good. The reason why I am giving it a low score is the fact they specialize in carnitas and tbh the carnitas were ok but nothing special. Since it was Christmas Eve the staff were really festive and they had good energy. Too bad the food didn't quite exude the same energy.

Did not disappoint! I came to try the tacos de carnitas and I was very impressed. Pulled pork was tender, tortillas were perfectly toasted.. two tacos de carnitas with double tortillas add cebolla and cilantro! Perfection! Will be recommending this place and definitely coming back!

Just came here today again to get menudo. It's absolutely the best I've ever had. I forgot to order hominy with it so oh well.

The food is Just as good as the Ontario location. Place is nice and clean you can tell the staff is getting the hand of it but this is the soft opening week. I'm just excited I have a location closer to me now.

I can see why the initial reviews are low, it's a new spot and needs to establish itself, there's ALOT of room for guests to eat and the interior isn't crazy but come on, it's a taco spot to eat. The employees weren't rude to me and they weren't busy so that might affect your visit but decided to try a taco. The food was good and would definitely come back to try their other food, hopefully this places establishes well and the staff becomes more friendly to other but my experience was good

I used to go to the location in Ontario and I'm so glad they opened one closer to me in Pomona. The food is just as good as the other location, but without the long wait. I usually order a lb of carnitas to go. The family special comes with rice, beans, sauce and warm tortillas. 10/10 I usually go first thing in the morning, and the employees are friendly.

I haven't had anything I don't enjoy. From the aguas frescas to the salsas. Ask for the red salsa that goes with the torta ahogada so good & Super spicy! Everyone there is super nice and courteous. The only thing is that the place feels very big and needs more decor but honestly I'm not there for any of that I'm there for the food. Go try it you won't have any regrets! Ps. Their menudo has no hominy but still very good.

Making this review a day later after getting food poisoning on top of it all. Wanted to try this new place out. Unfortunately, the service is no good, the cashier named Magaly had a really bad attitude when I was nothing but polite to her. When we went to get our order they were so confused about which order it was. When I finally got the birria plate order, they gave no salsa or had on lemon either for the food. Very disappointed. ALSO, IF YOU DONT MIND SWEATING WHEN YOU EAT, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO AC.

Was in the area and found this place.Lots of space, the food exceeded my expectations. Tasted authentic and great proportion.Definitely recommend
